[9/13, Evening]

Foosh! Renko exhaled sharply as she looked around her apartment. Carrying in all of those boxes had been a bit of a boring chore, but she'd managed it in the end. It wasn't like she had too many personal goods anyway, though her bed was a little... unique. It was more of a solid, padded cage with air holes, particularly helpful when she moved around in her sleep and bonked into things. She paused for just a moment as she looked into the mirror, seeing the familiar outline of her gas mask. Right, then... she'd have at least a little bit of school this week, and she was looking forward to the place that had Japan's highest percentage of transfer students! All those emails and rumors had been a lot of fun to read. She just hoped she'd be able to fit into the uniform... oh, well. She was clean, she had a room all to her own, and she'd already done her training for the day...

She flopped onto her mattress and closed up her bed a moment later, quickly falling asleep. She had some television she wanted to watch late at night, and this would get her some of the rest she'd need.

A moment after Leon knocked, the front door flew open and Renko quite literally glomped him, flying out of the building and tightly wrapping her arms around him. "Good morning!" Foosh. Well, she was definitely happy to see him, that was for sure. "So, are you ready to go? I wanna see this festival thing at the school!" she said, apparently ignorant of the way she was squishing against him. Or... maybe that was on purpose? It was kind of hard to tell, but either way, she was in a great mood this morning... and Leon's presence had a lot to do with that.

Foosh! "Of course!" she answered, holding onto his arm and clearly allowing him to escort her. Or... maybe it was the other way around. Either way, she seemed eager to get to the school and look around. It was her first festival! And a date day with Leon! Speaking of... "Did your sister go on ahead?" the masked girl inquired as they walked towards the school.

"Only to have as much fun as possible!" Foosh. Renko said, pumping a fist into the air. "Though, I think I heard something about karaoke on the stage at school... I guess it's time for GMK to make her appearance and show these people how to rock." Something that could reasonably have been described as evil laughter came out of her mouth. She was a big music fan, and there was no way she could pass up the opportunity to come onstage. "Would you like to do that with me?"

Renko abruptly stopped walking, then turned to look at Leon. Behind the rigidity of her mask, it was impossible to tell exactly what her expression was... but her whole body seemed tensed, attentive, and even excited. She shot forward in a flying glomp a moment later, squeezing him harder than ever before as an excited squee came out of her mouth. "Yes, yes, yes!" she chirped ecstatically. "Muwahahahahahaha! These candy peasants'll never see it coming!"

"Would 'sweet sheep' make more sense? I mean the tender-minded uninformed masses. ...It's a music thing." Renko said, though she did ease up on the hug just a bit. That didn't entirely stop the squishing, though, and she continued to giggle. Oh, this was going to be fun... shame she didn't have her instruments, but she'd make do somehow. The school probably wasn't ready for a real show.

"Hmhmhm~ Yes! It's a tacit way of acknowledging the tendency of death metal fans to be masochistic when they come to music - after all, it's not like anybody understands what's being sung without looking at the lyrics. They just have to do their best and feel it in their souls! Or something like that. I just enjoy it as music, whether I'm singing or listening." Level of fun seemed to be the main way she judged things - probably no surprise, that. With that said, she cheerfully marched towards the school, determined to take over the stage and teach everyone what a performance was really about.
