As said in their more recent announcement, zOMG will undergo some serious maintenance which will require it to be closed for a few weeks in a few weeks. Will it affect your crafting? Personally, I'm going to go thru the list of items I was planning to craft and see if I can collect what I need for them as soon as possible. I have high doubts I will reach the 1000 orbs aggregates I need thought -- especially without knowing when they are closing it down sweatdrop

I wanted to craft myself an overgrown kudzu...fffuu... 150 wing tree leaf gonk I'm seriously making a list and temporary stopping collecting other games components to concentrate on zOMG stuff tonight.

Someone bought out almost all of the Copper today. If they drive the unit price on that up into the six-digits I'm gonna be pissed.

Welp, I guess I should open up my storage closets?
I have some stuff set aside for making Alchemist's Cases on my free time, but I bought everything in bulk. I'm making cases at snail's pace now since I haven't had a chance to play Towns in months. xP I might also have some random zOMG drops laying around. I used to farm that game too.
So...I guess I'll sell some of them off later for people who need it.
EDIT:
Though honestly...it can't hurt to wait. Gaia isn't taking zOMG off the site indefinitely, so those Alchemist's Cases can wait until the game comes back.

I don't think Gaia ever saw Alchemist's Cases as an essential part of Alchemy. They're more of a luxury item because you can get through Alchemy without making or using a single Case. On the other hand, Philosopher's Caches are such a vital part of Alchemy that you can't do anything without them.

Yeah, it will suck that some people will have a temporary pause in their gold income if they rely on Org Aggregates or Cases for profit. Or if they were questing for an item that needs zOMG components. But those things can stand to wait. The point is that Alchemy will still be functional during the weeks that zOMG is down for maintenance. Ergo, it's not a huge disaster that needs stockpiling.

And yeah zOMG being closed is going to be a bugger but I look at it this way, now that it is down for a bit time spent in zOMG can be spent in towns getting a bunch more resources from there. That way when zOMG comes back and you can get the stuff from there again you'll have a bunch of towns stuff already saved up.

So far my favorite method is to just to shallow seas runs with crews, that gets me plenty of orbs and gold but can take a while to assemble a team.

Considering it's rather high level, I guess it's probably one of the good place to go indeed. The crewing and requiered time for a run might be annoying a little thought. I can't remember how much it gives you, but there might be also the papa saw mill; there's usually always people around there. The hardest level might be best, but not every crew seems to work well for it -- it's rather a hit or miss experience which highly depends on if people want to play it individually or are willing to sacrifice themselves a little and help for healing, buff and revive. If only one person ends up doing it all, it just wouldn't do well sweatdrop
