Nearby the shore Izumi stroked her newborn babes, three lovely children all of them Tonn confirmed were selkies, which boded well for his species she wrapped her fins around the three delicately Nuzzling each one of them delicately the warmth of motherhood surrounding her. Her children
Izumi knew of Tonn's father lost father, a lyra so she suggested they bring their children near the shore in hops of his appearing. In Hopes of the rest of Tonn's family returning. Doubtful as it may be, Izumi could still hope she expected it would bring him great joy.
Feeling soft wings stroke her side the youngest suddenly started wiggling, they had named two of the children in the language of Tonn's family "No you don't Eirwen," Izumi blocked the young filly from her attempted escape. Izumi glanced back to her eldest daughter Kasumi and laughed quietly not to wake the other two another young filly and colt "You were very much the same Kasumi."
Kasumi shook her head in disbelief "I never tried to escape till I was at least a young adult." Shifting below the water, the sunlight shone on her bright blue coat. She watched her three new siblings with curiosity. it had been strange to hear her mother had found another, especially like Tonn. She had never heard of a selkie before.
"I am glad you came to Visit," She told her daughter "Where is your sister Izanami?" she asked before turning back to the white would-be escapee.
"awe, Momma!" Eirwen cried clear blue eyes eager to explore she wanted to play despite her siblings happily sleeping.

Although he had returned to the place he'd last seen his oceanic family, Ailean hadn't seen them for much too long. He stole away from his herd to wait by the water's edge whenever he was able. His heart ached, missing them. He loved Callisto, but it hurt that he would never be able to truly be with her. Star-crossed lovers... he thought. He lay on the damp ground, daydreaming of her.
After some time had passed, and the sun had begun descending back toward the horizon, he climbed to his feet and wandered absentmindedly down the shore. He scuffed the sand with the tips of his hooves as he went, lazily drawing patterns that washed away with the rolling tide. He could only continue to hope that he would see his mate or his children again some day.

Kaito was dozing quite peacefully when he felt a squirming around him. Judging by the distinctive feel of feathers, it was doubtless Eirwen--she was the only member of his family that had wings. That was why they were here. Their mother was hoping to meet the progenitor from whom her youngest had inherited her wings. Kaito himself was curious--what was it like to fly? He couldn't wait for Eirwen's wings to grow big enough to fly, so that he could ask her what it was like. How she'd learn, he had no idea.
Anyway, all that squirming meant that Eirwen was awake, and that meant he'd have someone to play with. He cracked one green eye open and began to squirm in the soft folds of his mother's fins. He liked being curled up in there--it was comforting, and he felt safe there--but he couldn't play. The fins--his, Dubheasa's, and Momma's--looked too delicate to sustain roughhousing. So escape from Momma's fins it was! Kaito wriggled, pushing his way up beside Eirwen and popping his head out of the safety of Izumi's fins. "Momma, we won't travel far. We'll stay in sight. Please may we play?"

Dubheasa blinked her wide eyes with a small yawn, must her siblings be so squirmy? She did not want to be this close to the shore, this could not be safe. But she knew she had her mother there and her older sister. Still there was nothing they could really do if they ended up on the land. And where is dad? He really shouldn't be working now... If only Dubheasa could be more like the rest of her family, more carefree. Trying not to worry she snuggled in more into her mother. Tonn enjoyed being out on scout patrol. But he did keep things closer to the shore lately. Izumi had the young ones there. A bit of personal pride shot through him, his young ones. He may not have been able to find his mother as of yet, he was happy that he at least had this small family. A silly smile spread across Tonn's face, but for now he just had a few more passes and he could rejoin them for a bit.Edit: I forgot to quote people, but I remember someone saying not to quote them and I'm not sure who. So until everyone who is RPing here shows, I'll only quote the ones who have already joined.

The mare Nuzzled the youngest who was comfortably nestled. Izumi felt the little one cuddle closer, She seemed nervous. No doubt from being so close to the shore "Do not worry little one, just a little longer." she spoke softly to Dubheasa. They would return to the ocean soon, however, not just yet. Izumi's eyes shifted to the other two Izumi's gaze settling on her only son. They wanted so much to play, but it was dangerous around the shores. But She couldn't deny them the right to play. "Stay in sight Eirwen, and Kaito, keep an eye on your sister." she stressed her fins unraveled for the two young children.
Izumi glanced back up to Kasumi having been interrupted by Eirwen and Kaito.
Kasumi, "Izanami is still in the deep underwater herd I sent word, but I have heard nothing yet." Kasumi glanced into the deeper waters "I could go myself." she added quietly seeing her mother a little disappointed with her answer. "I'm sorry mother."
The elder child watched her new siblings still rather unsure, should she go with them just to be safer in case a shark or whale came nearby? Yes yes she should. Kasumi didn't think her mother could swim the distance the foals wanted to go in the time it took something to devour them. The thought made Kasumi shiver. That would be heartbreaking.
"I'll go with them to be safe mother." Kasumi offered.
"Thank you Momma!" Eirwen gave her big brother a thank you nuzzle. Eirwen flapped her little wings in a swim-hop over her mother's frilly tail. Out of all her siblings Eirwen was the only one with a heavy tail like her father. Her tail didn't have the pretty fins like her brother and sister had. Eirwen was certain with her tail she could swim faster. Her father was fast, he was a scout after all! Her tail was like his, she'd be swift underwater, and maybe graceful, one day.
"Let's Go!" she grinned swimming a distance out only to decide to return as though something had been forgotten. Eirwen swam back to her mother nuzzled her then poked Dubheasa "Let's play." She nudged her sister gently her tiny wings flapping happily.
Izumi watched the children yet kept a steady eye out for Tonn.

Kaito glanced back into the folds of his mother's fin. His youngest sister was snuggled in tight. "We'll be back soon, Dubheasa, I promise." There was no point in trying to force her to play with them--if she had wanted to, she would have crawled out with them. He turned back to his mother and gave her a quick nuzzle. "Thank you, Momma, we promise not to give Kasumi the slip." Oh, like he would do that. It wasn't that he didn't like his eldest sister, not at all. He liked her. It was just that Kaito wanted to not have to be supervised all the time. How dangerous could the shore be, after all? Besides, Kasumi tended to be more strict than he'd like in a babysitter, always telling them "you can't do this," "you can't do that." Like they were in actual danger while they were having fun. Pfft.
Kaito returned Eirwen's nuzzle and swam after her. "Race you to the first rock!" he shouted. When she turned around to go back to Dubheasa, he shouted at her, "Hey, let her sleep if she wants to sleep!"littletomol It's Snow who doesn't want to be quoted; she will not be participating in this RP.

Dubheasa peered out from under her mothers fins, eyes following her siblings. "I'm not sleeping; I'm watching." Then she turned towards her mother, "Mother is it safe for them to wander off? I know big sister is keeping an eye on them, but still." She wanted to join them as they raced, oh how she loved to swim, but something in her held her close to her mother. "Should we follow them?" Tonn was finishing up his final rounds of his patrol when something shiny caught his eye. Taking a closer look, he found a lovely piece of cobalt sea glass. "I wonder if Izumi would like this? It's just a small bit of glass, but its color reminds me of her." Taking up the trinket, he set on his way back toward his little family. And stupid computer/internet/Gaia ate my post while I was in the middle of it; so I get to start over in lost thought. *raises hand* I thought Dubheasa was the oldest?

"Thank You Kasumi."
She Gave Kaito and raise of the brow "See that you two don't." Izumi chided lovingly. Giving them both a small nuzzle before they raced off.
Izumi Chuckled stroking the eldest of her new three foals. "Kasumi you're sister Kasumi will look after them." She promised Dubheasa giving the filly an affectionate nuzzle. "If you don't want to you don't have to." She watched the filly, Dubheasa was interested in going but was a bit shyer than the others. No matter Izumi loved them all dearly. she curled carefully around her child while the other two went out to play. She gently splashed Dubheasa to make sure she stayed moist. being dry was such an prickly feeling when your skin cracked or scales molted
"See, I told you! Dubheasa, isn't sleeping!" Eirwen protested Nuzzling her brother back. she glanced to Dubheasa "You can come play when you want!" he told dubh with a smile. Once she surrounded herself with water she felt so happy. This was the best! Swimming felt so good. She popped her head back above the waves and giggled. As she did jump breaching the waves. Before giving Kaito a nod "You're On!" she laughed taking off toward the rock he'd pointed out earlier. She couldn't wait till they were back out at sea! instead of against this... thing called land. It was very restrictive.
Kasumi raised her eyebrow at her younger brother, yeah she could see a lot of trouble in her future from that one. She sighed though was stunned at how quickly one of them took off. "W..Wait f.. for..." she stammered in surprise. she shot out after them to make sure they were in sight. littletomol [Kasumi is their elder sister from Anu/Izumi Izanami is their other sister from Anu. Dubheasa is eldest of the 3 with Tonn/Izumi]

...Well, obviously I am a genius at paying attention. Sorry! D8 Kaito flopped into the waves but not before he gave a quick glance upwards. They were waiting for a lyra, right? He could fly in at any time. Kaito wondered what his grandfather would be like. Would he be nice? Would he know they existed? Would he want to meet them? He really hoped so, it sounded so nice to have more family. He would also love some cousins, some more people to play with, but a grandfather would be nice as well, even if he couldn't help but think of him as Eirwen's first and foremost--those wings. It had to be those wings. When he thought of someone mostly as wings, he thought of them in terms of Eirwen, the only person he knew with wings, even though she wasn't the only person out there, and any grandfather of hers was a grandfather of his too--they were brother and sister, after all!
No sign of movement in the sky. Kaito ducked his head back down underwater and raced towards the rock. Racing was always a good way to start their games, as it usually turned into something else eventually. That's why he suggested it all the time. When Kaito reached the rock, he poked his head out of water again, this time to keep an eye out for Kasumi. As he did, he thought he saw a dark figure walking along the shore. He frowned and squinted at them. "Hey, Eirwen...do you see that?" He pointed at the lone figure and craned his neck, trying to see. He no longer cared about the race, just about the Star (probably a Star). Maybe it was her--his--their--grandfather?

Izanami was only mildly surprised that her mother found her, not in person but through the wide novae network she was sure. It was early in the day when Cassi had summoned her, there was a unknown messenger there speaking with the vibrant Sea Queen. Cassi noticed her there and dismissed the messenger, then proceeded to inform her that Izumi and Kasumi requested her presents. Izanami was rather unreadable in the face of this news, she thanked the Sea Queen for her time and swam off.
Although younger, Eztli had grown to be Izanami's closest friend. Althought Izanami didn't have much of a choice Eztli insisted. But they hit it off. It was Eztli, Izanami confided in about the message. Izanami didn't know how to feel about it as she's had a disconnect from blood relatives for a long time. She had few memories and they'd grown faded. Eztli had convinced Izanami to make the trip and see how it went, but that she'd go with Izanami as support. Plus it was always wise to travel in groups, especially over long distances.
So now here they were, making the trek from their herd's current location to where her mother and sister supposedly are. Luckily long distances didn't phase either of them and they had learned navigation skills in case of separation. It took them sometime to reach the general location, they took turns spy hoping to look around. Land had appeared to one side and they turned and made towards it. Both mares had one land parent, but neither spent any memorable time near it and it was part terrifying and part thrilling. Eztli seemed more excited than Izanami did.
Sounds of novae nearby caught Izanami's ears and she paused just as the shore appeared. She inched forward slowly until some of them came into view. Everyone seemed to have very similar appearances, definitely a more traditional family. Lemurians were all different colors and mini groups of families or just adopted in to existing ones. And it was right then that Izanami couldn't figure out who she was suppose to be related to. She had spent some much time as an adopted member of Eztli's family, she grew so use to their colors and patterns. Izanami decided to just float so her ears, nose and eyes were above the surface of the water.Eztli watched Izanami hesitate and become rather shy as they approached this strange family group. She certainly stood out among all the cool colors in her bright reds and pinks. But unlike her shy friend, Eztli spy hopped straight up to get a good look at the group and it's size. They weren't too large and very close to shore. The focus seemed to be on one mare with very young foals.
"I think I know which is your mom. There's a mare with babies!" Eztli said none to quietly, because she was a rather extroverted mare.((Late to the party but here none the less))

Ailean glanced out at the water from time to time as he waited, wishing and hoping, but continued to pace the length of beach he had last seen them at. Largely the ocean was calm, occasional small whitecaps cresting and then melting back into the rest of the water, but nothing unnatural. But one glance he thought he saw movement different from the rest -- was that a small head diving beneath the surface? He hoped it wasn't just a small bird diving for a tasty morsel...
He turned and headed into the water, splashing as he waded into the shallows, then worked harder as more and more of his body submerged. Before long he was swimming, strong legs kicking and his wings helping to propel him and keep him surfaced even as the water got choppier. He paused and treaded water, turning side to side, searching for the spot he'd seen the head submerge. His chest and stomach filled with butterflies as he realized he was nervous. Would he see his love? What would be different and what would be the same?? Who was the smaller Nova he thought he'd seen -- was it more family for him to know and love?
