In the past week, a number of people have discussed their inactivity, hiatus, or general retirement. While it can be discouraging, we can't sit around and wait for them to return again or to see new faces pop up. The massive spikes of activity we have on occasion when we have old veterans return never lasts long. We need to build up a consistent pool of activity. While the majority of us are committed to being active, it's gonna get boring in 1-2 years if we're all just RPing in our little circle.

So, I'm encouraging you all to recruit outside of our community. I know none of us are really accustomed to this, but it's something we really ought to be considering if we wanna see our community grow and thrive once more. I encourage you all to promote guilds like BBW, WWF:G, ASaR, and so on to your friends. Surf the forums, see if find anyone that might be interested. Advertise. So on and so forth. I myself will be trying to do so, and I'd really appreciate if we all tried to.

If you have any comments, concerns, etc, please post in this thread. Keep us all up-to-date on if you find any potential new faces. It's 1:30am and I am quite tired, so I probably forgot half of the things I wanted to say; I'll add them in the morning.

Yay for new friends! The more the merrier! Totally spam anywhere and everywhere you can on Gaia with your feds! Even if someone takes a look at just one the feds, you can all drag them into others if you like them later! blaugh
