Today's training exercises mostly consisted of testing her body's skills in this rather new senshi-form she had acquired. One could not hope to improve if they didn't know what needed to be improved in the first place.
The magic she possessed was nice, but it wasn't something she really felt could be honed, so it was not included in this test of skills for the evening.
The green suited senshi had already spent an hour punching and kicking at various thick based trees in the park, assessing the damage she had done. She had already tested her speed by doing laps on a local field and comparing her times against the times she had without her powers.
The current test had started simple enough. She had crouched down, then sprang up into the air, seeing how high she could go.
The results were actually quite miraculous to the new senshi. She could jump before, but nothing she had ever achieved prior could remotely come close to this sort of skill. With one leap, she was able to see the tops of the trees in the park. A sincerely awed smile carved its way upon the green suited senshi's face, and soon enough the girl began to move about like a grasshopper.
Crouch low, jump up, see where it took her, repeat as needed.
This method seemed to get her further away from the park, and soon enough to the rooftops. It was an almost tireless effort, but eventually something caused her to cease her current test.
"...Tea... in a place like this...?"
Clearly, she had not been expecting a full set up with tea upon her journey. It was enough to get her to stop and investigate.

Mintaka wasn't much of a tester, though she had trouble at first adjusting to her powers. Now that she was powered up, she felt more at ease, more comfortable with the senshi life. She was still about, gaining knowledge from all sides, and was remaining firm in her neutral stance in the war.
So much so that setting up a tea...picnic of sorts had become habit. She was surprised in the amount of people she had met already and wanted to keep up with the momentum.
So has she sipped her tea, she wasn't surprised at the incoming order aura, actually a bit thrilled because it could mean two types of people. A senshi like herself or a Knight and either of the two would be fun to talk too.
She was surprised though when the order aura appeared right in front of her spot on the rooftop that she had set up and her hand stilled on her cup that was half raised to her mouth.
"Good evening." Mintaka smiled at the girl, "Would you like a cup of tea?"

Upon the greeting and offer, the green suited senshi stopped dead in her tracks, almost like a startled animal. However, given about 3 seconds, she planted both feet down on the ground, both feet pointing straight forward at about a shoulder's width. Bringing both legs together, she put both hands together and leaned forward for a mild bow of respect, as if preparing to spar with a respected partner.
With the offer of tea, the senshi of the Mantis could afford to mind her manners, even if only briefly.
"I would be game for a cup of tea, possibly 2 if you can afford it!"
Her body didn't move from the leaning position as it held the bow. The senshi looked to the other senshi, as if waiting for approval before releasing herself from the position.

Mintaka cocked her head at the green senshi as she bowed respectfully. How fun, how fascinating! She wondered what type of senshi the girl was!
"A cup of tea, Two if you would like! I'm not quite patrolling tonight so I would love for some company even for a short while." She set her cup down, inclining her head respectfully at Antiope.
"Come sit with me, Tell me your name. What kind of Senshi are you?" She said all this while grabbing the second cup and slowly pouring the tea. "My name is Mintaka, Senshi of Origami."

With the invitation to sit, the green suited senshi practically slid into place with ease. The first thing to pop out of her mouth was a question.
"...Has anybody called you 'Minny' before?"
The green senshi didn't really wait for an answer before proceeding to answer some of the questions directed at her. "I have been told that I am Sailor Antiope, Senshi of the Mantis... but you can call me Anti... lot easier to remember if you ask me!"
She chuckled as she reached out towards the newly introduced Mintaka, hands still hidden beneath her long sleeves, ready to take the tea whenever it was poured. "...so... what do you mean when you say 'patrolling'...? I'm kind of new at this stuff..."

She looked up from her time of pouring to study Antiope.
"Minny?" She tested the name before smiling softly at the green senshi, "Not that I've known so far. I hadn't even thought of calling Senshi by nicknames, Is that what you wish to call me?" She laughed, "It's adorable."
She had a moment after Antiope spoke to process the girl. Hyper, but polite. Curious. New. Ah, that was good. She wasn't sure if she could handle the older senshi with their radical views.
"How fascinating, I should've pegged you for it but...at the same time..." She laughed, "It's a pleasure to meet you Anti. I hope your night's been enjoyable for you so far."
She blinked, handing the cup over for the girl. "Patrolling? Ah you must be very new. Pretty much I like to take to the streets to search for Youma's. Those are those little demon like creatures stealing humans energies?" She tilted her head, "Have you faced them yet?"

She held the cup with two hands with sleeves covering said hands. Rather than try to grab for any sort of handle, she merely brought the cup closer before she drew it to her lips and tilted it to drink.
Even though the sleeves were taking some time to get used to, she still had managed to perfect the art of drinking the tea with the long sleeves in the way. She drank, then pulled the cup away to take in a deep cleansing breath afterwards. Though she seemed briefly zenned out, she eventually did seem to respond to the inquiry.
"You-ma...? I can't say I've actually encountered anything like you described... I'm honestly still trying to gauge what it is I am capable of while in this outfit... the sleeves are very impractical for Northern Mantis style... I am trying to still get the hang of it!"
In all honesty, Antiope didn't even really care about these youma. Right now the important thing was the tea, which she took another sip of.

Mintaka was more pleased then a peach that Anti was enjoying her tea. Even if it distracted the girl from conversing. there was something oddly adorable about how she was coexisting with her sleeves.
Mintaka clicked the information away.
"That's very fortunate for you! At least for now, though when you face one, it'll probably come of a bit of shock." She frowned, "Youma look like monsters, shadows. They take very precious things from humans without powers like us. And I suppose they are controlled by certain Negaverse generals? Captains. I'm not too clear on the details."
She zenned back in.
"Oh you've had martial arts training before becoming a Senshi? How lucky!" Anti probably felt right at home with the fighting.

It might have seemed as if Antiope's tea was far more important than the information being prattled off, for she simply seemed to be giving the cup of tea the spare attention she had. Sip, sip, and another sip here, and soon enough the cup was set back down on the table.
"I can't say I've come across any monsters yet. Just some strong guy I beat up and a fluffy black cat with a bobbed tail. Can you refresh my memory as to what this Negaverse thing is?"
Maybe she had been told and she simply blocked it out, or maybe she hadn't been told at all. Antiope was very guilty of not paying attention much of the time, so the first option wasn't completely unrealistic. Not that she cared if that was an issue. Push come to shove, she could always just ask. Again. And again. And again.
Maybe one day this Senshi stuff would stick.
Antiope tilted her head curiously at the exclamation about her martial arts skills. As much as she enjoyed being fawned over, one stray comment seemed to prickle her a bit.
"...luck has nothing to do with it, Minny. Just desire to be the best that I can be!"

"You've face a strong somebody already?" Mintaka leaned closer, "Aren't you terrified of stronger enemies? They could really hurt you!" She supposed that it was the path of the warriors to keep testing themselves, but they were young girls thrown into a battle with nothing more then there fuku's and distant memories.
"Oh well, Negaverse is a...organization of powered beings who steal energy from humans. I don't know what they use it for, but it's very bad as sometimes they kill humans. In general, they are a very dangerous and blood thirsty bunch. That's the picture most of the white court senshi paint of them though. I suppose it would be the same if we were negaverse sitting on the other side discussing white moon senshis." She rambled, "Anyways, they summon the Youma's to steal the energy, and those are the creatures we are suppose to dispatch so they don't kill humans." She nodded. "but I'm probably not the best to really ask about them, I've actually had no trouble with Negaverses likes I should."
She pointed to Antiope's cup, "Would you like more...?"
For a moment she was a bit confused by the sudden stiffness Antiope had, before it disappeared. "I'm sorry, I phrased that a bit rudely. I'm a bit jealous is what I mean? I was dropped into this world without any knowledge of anything, no fighting background nor anything that would benefit me in war. It's a bit petty of me, but I would've liked to have a small ounce of skill you must possess to make this a little easier." She laughed a little.

"Why would I be scared of someone strong?" Though she was answering something completely different, she easily slid her cup closer to Minny in response to the other question.
"One doesn't grow if not pushed to the threshold. I can't grow stronger without going against the strong!" With her sleeve she rubbed at her chin, considering the apology.
"So what have you done about it since you got that pretty little outfit? Have you started training to improve yourself?"

As the cup slid over, Mintaka reached for the pot, pulling it up and pouring a second cup for the mantis girl. As she had assumed, Antiope didn't see stronger as a obstacle but a goal to move onto.
"This is true, and it's a sentiment often proved among the most fearless heroes." Mintaka looked down and away, "But it often, more then not, causes serious injuries or worse, your life." She liked to think things through, plan ahead. She wasn't spontaneous but slow and thoughtful.
"I've received some basics from another senshi -" that being Chariklo, of the dark mirror court, "But I've been honing my words more then my fist." Mintaka stared down at her fuku, "I'm learning in the best way I know how, which is gain as much information as I can about this new world, and then I'll go from there."

With the second cup of tea, Antiope seemed to closer her eyes and inhale the aroma. The words being spoken were too philosophical for the Senshi of the Mantis' tastes, so instead she was absorbing herself into the tea. She sipped from the cup one time, two times, then a third time before she seemed to return to the conversation.
"You get hurt, you then train more! You die, then oh well!" Fear of injury or worse seemed oddly lacking in this particular girl as she simply shrugged off the notion and returning to her tea.
Several sips into her new cup of tea later, the darker haired girl idly asked "So... you said something about origami earlier?" Power spheres were still a hard concept for the newer senshi to grasp it would seem.

She just brushed off dying...dying like it was a video game.
Mintaka's eyes widened and she sat back for a moment. There was a deep amount of worry etched on the origami senshi's face, perhaps she should ask Antiope to be her patrolling partner so the younger girl didn't end up fighting the wrong dude and dying like that.
Because regardless of what the Mantis thought, Dying was a big deal.
"I'm sorry, I'm in shock." She took a moment, "Why do you say oh well at dying?"
Then she blinked again, "Yes Origami is my power sphere. My magic?" She demonstrated by forming a paper crane in her hand. "Like this? You sphere is basically your magic..."

The question about death seemed to go ignored for a moment as the girl eyed the piece that appeared in Mintaka's hand critically.
"...but... it showed up prefolded... origami is the art of folding the paper?" She lifted a sleeve in front of her mouth as her hand beneath the sleeve balled up in puzzlement.
Dwelling on such a thing was not the plan though, and soon enough it was dropped from her attention as she set her emptied cup down on the table again.
"Fear of death holds one back. I don't focus on the end we all meet, I focus on the journey and how to make it mine!" With a tilt of her head, she also added with a giggle "Not to mention, one of my idols died at the age of 32... not saying I want to die at the same age... but it is possible to achieve great things even if you die young!"
