Takoda: Post 1
It was almost dawn by the time Takoda managed to drag his sorry body back home. Every muscle ached as he wasn't used to carrying such a burden for long periods of time. The said burden was the body of a young girl he had come across in the woods of Jahaur. The shifter hoped Jacinthus wasn't too worried at his prolonged absence as he had only intended to go harvest a certain glowing mushroom and come back. He still didn't understand what was with kids wandering around by themselves? There was that other wind child named Nu awhile back, then the shifter and ice children and now this girl.
She had yet to stir from her slumber but as he neared his home he felt that perhaps it would be best if he did so. Moving he gently shook the child who only fluttered her eye lids before snuggling closer to Takoda. Alright perhaps she wasn't....ready to wake up.
"Jacinthus?" Takoda called out as he went to lay the girl down, using his cape so that she wasn't going to rest against the dirt.

Korra Post 1
The young girl still had the map clutched to her chest as she had slept, she was so tired from her journey that finally coming across a person was enough to make her burst into tears of relief. True she had traveled a long way, all alone but she hadn't been the best at finding food and she was dirty and tired. Though she had thought the man she had come across was a ghost, he had turned out to be solid and thus...couldn't be one right?
She had been so relief to find someone, anyone who was an adult she cried herself to sleep. Though she was somewhat awake when Takoda had spoken to her int he forest she didn't seem to respond, mostly cause she was still too tired to care. But he carried her all the way here and when she felt her body being gently lowered to the ground she yawned and rubbed an eye. Looking to the strange man who had brought her here. Who was Jacinthus? Maybe his wife?
"Where...are we?" She inquired coyly with another yawn.

Jacinthus Post 1
Jacinthus jerked his head up from what he'd been doing, that being getting his things together so that he could go out to find his mate, his ears giving a little twitch. Had he just heard Takoda's voice? Was he imagining things or was he actually, finally, home? He took a few hurried steps forward, looking over the railing and down to the ground below their tree home, and then gave a sighing sound of relief when he saw that the Shifter was in fact down there. Instantly he let his weapons drop and he made his way down the ladder, jumping off midway. He landed easily enough before he walked toward the Shifter, giving a sigh as he went, "You were gone far too long." He told Takoda, "I was starting to think that something happened to you." 'Something' being the Obans, he didn't trust those bastards any further then he could throws them.
Reaching out he caught hold of Takoda's wrist, pulling the other man into his grasp, and gave him a long kiss, "I really should have gone with you. It's far too dangerous to be roaming about on your own these days." He told his mate, hugging him tight, relieved that he was back in on piece. It was only after he'd held him close for a moment that he realized that they weren't alone. In fact as he glanced down he found himself starring at a little Wind Tribe girl, probably the thing that least expected to see there.
"Ahh... hey there." He greeted her, easing his hold on Takoda, as if it clicked in his head that he might have been a bit to personal with his mate in front of some strange child. He wasn't quite sure what was going on but he figured he'd hazard a guess, "A patient of yours?" He asked of the Healer in his arms. She looked a bit on the rough side, dirty and tired, so it only made sense that she might need the help of one with Takoda's powers.

Takoda Post 2
Felt his face go red, although he loved his mates affections it was a smidgen embarrassing when it was in front of other people. In the bedroom was one thing but out in the open...well that was an entirely different matter. He had been about to reply to apologize being late but he didn't get a chance when Jacinthus pulled him for a kiss that had him at a loss for words. For the moment anyway. It always took his breath away how passionate Jacinthus could be and a hand came to his chest when the kiss was finally broken. As if trying to recover his breath he took a moment before looking down to Korra a moment.
"Ah...sort of..." Takoda managed as it was evident that Jacinthus was confused at Korra's present. "You see she ran into me in the woods...and I couldn't just leave here there alone.." Takoda managed with a small nod of his head, "We should probably ..ask you where you came from little one and your name."

Korra Post 2
Sitting up and although a bit sleepy still it looked as if she was going to be treated to a show. A...romance unfortunately, maybe a comedy? It seemed evident that her first assumption about Jacinthus being Takoda's wife was wrong. In fact...the way Takoda was acting..it was as if he was the shy maiden.
"Oooooooo...." Korra gave a small sound before she looked directly at Takoda, "I was wrong..you are the wife and he is your husband." She explained with a slight nod of her head before she went about trying to unwrinkle the paper that she had clutched all this time. When questions started to come she gave a small shrug still focused on her progress.
"My name is Korra I come from Sauti." She explained with such simplicity it...was almost too easy. "If you want to kiss more I can look away...." She managed with a look so innocent it was easy to tell she wasn't being snarky or sarcastic about it.

Jacinthus Post 2
Jacinthus studied the girl that much more closely when his mate told him that he'd found her in the woods and that he couldn't just leave her there, "Yeah, just leaving her behind wouldn't be right." He mused, certain that if it was him in Takoda's shoes that he'd of done the same thing. The world was too dangerous with the Obans skulking about, he doubted that even a little youngling would be safe from those war mongering bastards. Bringing the girl back with him was likely the only choice at the time, especially given that it was getting late. Takoda couldn't very well search the woods after dark in hope of running into someone that knew the girl, the forest was too vast for such a thing.
His attention was soon flickering between Takoda and the girl when she suddenly spoke up about being 'wrong' before stating that Takoda was in fact the wife while Jacinthus was the husband. His eyes went for a moment wide before he started to laugh, "Good that you can tell straight away, you're a smart girl." He said, seeing no reason not to praise her, finding her guess to be both accurate and amusing.
"Alright then, Korra from Sauti, it's nice to meet you. My name is Jacinthus but you can call me Jacin." He told her before giving a grin, "We can hold off on more kisses for now, instead how about you tell me why you were wandering about in the woods? You seem a bit small to be hunting for your own food." Funny coming from him since he and Kei had done about the same thing when they were younger, doing all they could to take care of themselves so as not to have to rely to heavily on others.

Takoda Post 3
His face went very red at Korra's sudden implication about Takoda being the 'wife' of the pair. Of course he was meeker of the two, perhaps he had more wamanly aspects as he was soft spoken and gentle. But to have it declared by a little girl they hardly knew was a bit embarrassing. Then Jacinthus had to encourage her but telling her how smart she was. Licking his lower lip he tried to take a calming breath,
"I am Takoda.." He began to introduce himself though his words choked in his throat as Jacinthus declared that they wouldn't be kissing anymore at the moment. Giving his mate a look as if what was he thinking to say such things in front of a young girl. Taking another breath he tried to continue, "Yes you seem hungry I have some fruit for you if....you are interested?"

Korra Post 3
Korra looked up again from smoothing out her precious item, her hand drawn map. She liked Jacin he was nice, and Takoda was funny. When he said they could hold off on kissing she couldn't help but giggle after all two men kissing was a funny thing and the fact Jacin seemed to really enjoy kissing Takoda was even more amusing. Still he was asking questions and she probably should answer them.
"I got lost." She admitted looking a bit sheepish to be saying such a thing, she then showed both men the map she had been trying to smooth out. "See? I am suppose to go here, but somehow I got...off the map. " She used her little fingers to point out the spot she was suppose to be going on her map. It looked like a mountain but it was really hard to tell with her terrible scribbling drawing.
When fruit was offered she perked up, her stomach rumbling to remind her it had been awhile since she had eaten. "Oh...yes yes please, I want to eat." She managed as she went to stand up.

Jacinthus Post 3
Jacin gave a bit of a grin when Takoda gave him a look for his comment about the kisses, "What? If you want more kisses we can always cover her eyes first." He said, purposefully misunderstanding the look that he was getting from Takoda at the moment. He found him to be too cute when he got all flustered, as such he couldn't resist. He would hold off on more physical affection so long as the girl was looking, not wanting to embarrass the pair of them too much more then he already had.
"Fruit? She might need a bit more then that." He said, going to fetch some of the dried meat that he had been preparing. This batch of it was finished and delicious, he'd had a couple pieces himself. He handed one piece of it over to Korra, "Eat that too, it will help fill you up." He knew that Takoda and Aysun could be a bit picky when it came to meat, Aysun especially didn't like to see food until it was actually food. If he saw it as a dead animal or even as raw chunks he was unable to eat it due to being friends with the animal world. He was a strange one... Takoda on the other hand just seemed squeemish around blood. As such he doubted he wanted any, "There is more if you want some." He told Takoda, just in case.
Once he'd fed the little girl he reached out to take the map, looking it over, "Catographer, huh?" It wasn't a map that made any sort of sense to him but it seemed as though she had worked hard on it. As such he couldn't really say anything, not wanting to insult her work or make her cry. Looking up from it he asked, "Are you trying to get back to your parents or something?" What had brought her out this far? It was odd.

Takoda: Post 4
The red blush remained on the shifters face, darkening his already dark skin and making him feel rather awkward in front of the young girl. He really wanted to get Jacinthus to stop with his teasing, but knew that it would probably cause the archer to continue full force. Still when Korra agreed to fruit he was about to go grab it only to have Jacinthus speak up and go to fetch her food of the meat variety. The shifter still couldn't understand how someone could be such a carnivore when you could easily live off of plants. As the dried rations were handed to her Takoda was quick to grab the fruit in his pack and bring it forth as well. Shaking his head as his mate offered him some if he wanted it.
The map she had shown him hadn't been very helpful in describing where she was headed. Perhaps they needed to probe her a bit more on the information. Even as he looked at it over Jacinthus's shoulder...it didn't make very much sense at all. Were those suppose to be spears? Trees? Rocks?
"Yes you don't look as if you live in the area..."

Korra: Post 4
The young girl looked at the offered food, MEAT. Oh how she missed eating it, it was so scarce back home that at the orphanage they only got fed it about twice a week. Taking it quickly from Jacinthus's hand she shoved it into her mouth eagerly and perhaps a bit...rudely. It was only when her mouth was puffed out full of the savory dried richness of meat that she recalled her manners.
Fruit was handed to her as well, and it took her a moment to figure out what to do next.
"Fhhsthhhak...fuu." She managed her mouth still full of food as she went about trying to swallow and NOT choke on the deliciousness in her mouth. Once empty she went about shoving more into her cheeks before finally turning to the fruit and washing it all down with the juices. Her face....was a mess. Sticky from fruit juice, she tried to wipe it away only making a bigger mess on her hands, face and hair.
"What...is a ca...t..o gopher?" She inquired wondering what the strange word was that Jacinthus used, she tilted her head as if rolling the word around in her brain may bring results. When her parents were mentioned she looked to the two men her eyes shifting to the ground and she gave a slow shake of her head.
"No...my parents passed away because of a fire." She managed with a slight shrug of her shoulders. The young girl had already cried her tears for her dead parents in the orphanage so she wasn't about to break down and cry here.
"Can I have some water?" Was her next question, dried meat was excellent but it did make one thirsty.

Jacinthus Post 4
The hunter couldn't help but to start to laugh a bit when Korra took the offered food and stuffed it into her mouth like a starving Witu. Well now, it was nice to have another meat eater about, and not one that shied away at just the sight of meat. At least this meant that feeding her wouldn't be a bit issue. Between what Jacinthus hunted down and what Takoda gathered there was plenty enough to eat even when the rest of the family decided to show up announced or otherwise.
"A cartographer is someone who makes maps." Jacin explained to the girl, glancing over at his mate as the two of them looked the hand drawn map over, giving a slight shrug as though so say he wasn't sure exactly what it meant. It most likely made sense to the girl but to him it was something that made very little sense. Maybe given time and lessons she could learn to make detailed maps but for the moment they were the sort of maps someone her age might produce which wouldn't exactly help them as far as bringing her to her destination went.
At the mention of her parents passing away in a fire Jacinthus gave a slight wince, "I understand, my parents are gone as well." He said, giving that a moment of thought but pushed it aside. It was something he was thinking on too much of late if only because of the Obans. He had heard that a 'monster' had killed his and Kei's parents and after seeing the monsters the Obans had an unrational part of him wanted to lay the blame on them. It was something he refused to do though. There were so many other, better reasons to dislike them after all.
"Water? Yeah, right over here." He said, walking over to pick up his water skin, handing it over to her. Since he'd been about to go out and hunt down Takoda it was filled up anyway. Might as well put the water to good use.

Takoda Post 5
The shifter's eyes widened at the girls ferocious appetite the way she moved all the food into her mouth and then wanted more. Glancing at Jacinthus who looked pleased at how she liked meat he felt his own stomach churn. He ate at the most fish and ..other proteins if he had to. He felt his spirits sag when the young girl mentioned that her parents had passed away due to a fire. Looking to Jacinthus who commented about his own parents passing away he nodded his head slowly. They had a lot in common didn't they?
"Seems we have all lost ones we loved, but we are here now." He murmured his eyes flicking to the young girl who was...all alone in this world now, wandering around and very lost. Licking his upper lip he glanced to his mate and then to Korra and then back to Jacinthus. Taking his lover by the arm he gave a small smile to the little one.
"Excuse us a second." He managed before taking his mate aside in a rather urgent manner. Trying not to alarm the young girl and yet he really hoped that Jacinthus would be able to understand his sudden need to...parent.
"Jacinthus...we can't just..let this little girl wander around...she is too young..and with no parents..." Takoda looked back to Korra before looking back to his mate, suddenly feeling really bashful. His face blushing as he held onto Jacinthus's hands. "Do...y..you think..w...we..could...you know...ad..adopt her?"

Korra Post 5
Taking the water skin Korra took a deep drink and then went about munching on more dried meat. Giving Takoda a look when he mentioned they had all lost loved ones. Then again didn't the other man say he lost his parents too? Maybe it wasn't so uncommon as she had previously thought. Did that mean people who became mom's and dad's were doom to leave their children behind?
It was a bit of a depressing thought and thus she went back to munching on meat and drinking water though at a much slower speed than before. When the shifter went to take Jacinthus aside she just shrugged and continued to eat. Looking over her map again and pondering which direction she should go next.

Jacinthus Post 5
Jacinthus found himself suddenly getting pulled aside and away from the girl that Takoda had brought home with him, a thoughtful look on his face. The war really was an awful thing, wasn't it? Displacing people as well as destroying families, due to the fact that his own had been broken when he was younger it just made him dislike those from Oba that much more. They were a dangerous and warring people, one that made even the Alkidike look tame. He would be happy when they finally chased the back South where they belonged he thought to himself before looking toward his mate who was looking a bit wound up himself... and that was when Takoda was proposing something that had him lifting an eyebrow before glancing over at Korra once more.
"Hmm." Adopting the little girl? He crossed his arms over his chest a moment, thoughtfully. He couldn't say that children were something he'd thought too hard about, mostly due to the fact that Takoda, while amazing and capable of many wondrous feats, wasn't quite that magical. The prospect of it now, it sounded nice... but it was also complicated given the situation at hand. He turned to look at the girl, watching her as she ate what they had given her, before he finally said, "We can't just claim her because we fed her, she isn't a lost little puppy, Takoda." Adopting sounded nice but the girl seemed determined to find the other members of her family, stopping her and forcing her to stay with them, it seemed a bit more like stealing then adopting.
Turning to his mate, giving him a smile, he said, "We need to help her, see if we can find other members of her family, and if we can't or they are unable to take her in, then we can give Korra the option to stay with us."
