Stepping into the park in all his jingly glory, Ys braced his hands on his hips and surveyed the area. This was where Gunn had said to meet her, but it was not a place he was particularly familiar or comfortable with. Granted, his 'territory' had been pared down to the carnival and surrounding area, but still. He liked knowing where his boundaries were, how far he needed to go to make his little world safe. Once had done his patrol, killed off all the vermin, he knew when he was finished. Going out into the city like this, he didn't know how far he had to go before he could call it quits and he didn't like this. At least this time, he had a specific destination and a specific purpose.
With the impending reopening of the carnival, it had become woefully apparent that Ys really had no idea how to fight. None. He had never, in his memory, actually faced one of those nega people while powered. It had only been their monsters thus far and he liked to think he was more or less proficient with them. People were another matter, which was why he had gone through his short list of people he knew to find someone who might possibly be able to whip him into shape. Luxor was not a bad sparring partner, but working with him only gave him one viewpoint. Zia was not a fighter, as far as he knew, so the only thing she was good for was going with him to his wonder and giving him grief. Megiddo had been his more or less last resort, and she was the one that had suggested the eternal senshi. Apparently, this one was already doing some order side training, so off his note had gone, using his signet ring, to ask for some one-on-one.
Reaching up, the tall man straightened his braids with long fingers, the bells on the ends of them ringing as he used one to pony-tail them all together, out of the way. Opening up his senses, he searched for the feel of an order senshi, knowing only that they felt 'good', like a knight, but different. This sensing people thing was weird... he wasn't entirely sure he liked using it.

Regent's Park was Gunn's favorite place to meet up with people and train. Home to a great big rolling soccer field, it left a lot of room to throw people and a lot of room to get away, presuming one was faster than she--and not many people were. "Sup, dude," she said to the ******** blue-haired knight. "Are you Ys?" She said it iss, which was probably wrong. Unfortunately, letters delivered by signet ring did not come with handy dandy Wonder pronunciation guides. "I'm Gunn. Pleasure to meet you. I guess. What can I do for you?"

Okay so, maybe Ys needed to learn to pay more attention to auras, because the red headed senshi snuck up on him in an almost embarrassing way. Though... he could maybe blame his lack of attention on all the bloody bells... they obscured a lot of little sounds that might have clued him in that he was being approached and he wouldn't have jumped like a startled rabbit when she greeted him, producing further jangling noises.
The knight turned his jump into a smooth turn and he swept her a theatrical bow, one arm over his stomach and the other extended backwards.
"Page Ys of Saturn, at your service." He quipped, pronouncing his name eess, like fleece with out the fl. The tall knight was grinning when he rose from the bow, orange eyes taking stock of what he was getting himself into. Taller girl than average, which was nice. Built in a nice way... though she looked all business and that was a little sad. Even if he had asked her here for some training, mixing in a little fun would have been nice.
"I asked you here today because Megiddo said you were a good person to go to for training, which I am sorely in need of." The page made a face at himself as he said it, his Brittish accent strong. "I'm working at the Carnival of Fate and if you were around the first time we tried to open it, you'll remember the disaster that was... but now we're rebuilt and ready to open again, so I'm wanting to get some training in so I can keep the carnival safe."
It had become painfully apparent that he just didn't have enough fighting experience... just patroling with Luxor gave him a thorough view of where he was lacking as a knight. Hopefully this would help remedy that, somewhat, since he really preferred not to have to get his boss to train him.

He jangled. Like the corrupt Oenone had been before catching a ******** clue. Gunn sighed and settled her hands on her hips, waiting for the introduction. Ees. She mouthed it as he bowed, and decided she liked that bit, too. Maybe she could convince everyone to greet her with a bow. If Negaversers would do that, she could kill them a lot faster. "I've been deployed for a lot of the past two years," said Gunn. "But, hey, disaster management is my middle name, along with did you need that building. Do you know any sort of combat training? Or anything in particular you want to know? Because fighting a youma and fighting a Negasshole are two completely different animals, generally speaking, and I don't have any youma on hand." At least Megiddo was spreading the good word. She did like that Squire.
