They'd traded their weapon tablets for daggers, and were told that they were needed to put up around the areas, just in case, and to check on planted ones as well. The task seemed simple enough, but so did that last one.

This was one of the jobs he'd run with Chris earlier, ... except that he couldn't really remember where all the daggers were now that they were back.

...I didn't realise discretion wasn't necessary.
Dillon rolled his eyes and continued scouring the ruins.

Scouring the ruins was quite the chore, and very unsuccessful so far. No daggers found, no places to insert a new one. He was getting tired of the wind and sand hitting his bare patches of skin, and his usual grin was more of a small flinch of his mouth.

Lex gave a small cheer when Dillon put the dagger into the wall, glad they found a new place and were that much closer to the goal. The faster they got all the barriers up, the better for them.
Finding a place directly across from the Mist, Lex planted his own dagger into the ground.
"Alright, now let's find some one that have been planted."

Dillon could barely hear a thing Lex was saying, having crawled in a bit too deep into one of the cracks between the ruins.
