 Rusul was ready for the enemy when they arrived. He was a seasoned fighter. His scars proved that. He hesitated, though, for a moment when the others in his patrol group separated to fight one on one. He was unsure about that since they were in a group but if the others were doing one on one then he would, too. He ran at the nearest lion and swiped a paw at whoever was in front of him. Bozkir was ready. The trek along was tiring, but they had rested enough the day before. The unfortunate thing was that the enemy would actually know the surrounding area and use it to his advantage. That... That would not stop him though. The Qyrhyeshti needed this land though. There lands were getting smaller and smaller, and this oasis was a necessity. He just hoped he could overcome the orange and grey colored lion. Base HP: 10 (Result: No Damage)

Rusul cursed at himself as he missed his mark. He swiftly turned around and glared at his opponent-a grey stripped lion. He narrowed his eyes. Surely the Qyrhyeshti weren't this bold to attack a patrol this far away from the main pridelands. He braced himself and swiped at the other male again-this time hoping to land a hit on the Qyrhyeshti lion. HP: 10

Having managed to dodge an attack, Bozkir was feeling a bit confident. He held his ground, before moving to strike at the Burkuteshti lion. He gave a snarl, warning the other lion. They needed this oasis and he wasn't going to back down. Not without a good fight. He would not bring shame. He had seen how snarky the others had become over the Borclu. He'd be damned if he caused them to lose this. He felt his claws his against something, and he could only hope he did significant damage. HP: 10 (Result: Rusul, -1 hp)

He tried to dodge away from the other lion's attack after he failed to miss his mark again but he felt claws digging into his shoulder. He kept on his feet, though, and he looked down briefly to see a mark on his shoulder. Another scar to add to his collection. He could feel blood runing down his shoulder but he ignored it for now. "You will pay for that," he growed at the Qyrhyeshti lion. HP: 9 (-1 light hit) EDIT: corrected my HP lvl

Bozkir was happy to see his claws dig into the other's shoulder. He just hoped that his luck would remain this good. He took a pace back, watching the other warily. No doubt the other lion was angered now, and his words would only confirm that. "Prove it," he snarled back. Of course, he would know his mistake... HP: 8 (Result: Bozkir, -2 hp)

He chucked at the other lion's response. He had finally gotten a hit on the other lion a few moments ago. Hopefully he could keep up this spree and take down this scum of a lion. HP: 9

The hit the Burkuteshti lion gave him hurt, nearly knocking the wind out of him. He shook it off, and turned to attack again. He would not make the mistake of trying to taunt the male again, though... It was tempting. "Why don't you back down, and I won't have to hurt you, hm?" he asked, though he could practically feel the snark dripping from the words. He lunged again at his opponent. HP: 8 (Result: Rusul, -3 hp)

"Never," rusul growled at the Qyrhyeshti lion. He was determined to not lose this battle. The Qyrhyeshti lions had snuck up on his patrol group and so it was up to him and his patrol mates to drive the scum back to wherever they crawled from. He felt the other lion's body hit him and he knew he had been hit again. Growling, he swiped at the other male. HP: 6 (-3 hard hit) [really Rusul? >.> you fail]

He could feel the skin under his claws with the next hit. He could feel the strength of his blow, but he knew it would not be enough. The other lion was strong, he was certain of that. He refused to let this Burkuteshti lion prevail over him. He would win - he had to, but his desperation may not be enough. Taking a deep breath, he moved to attack once again, praying for another hit. HP: 7 (Result: Bozkir, -1 hp)

He felt a blow hit its target and his confidence began to boost a little bit. He felt like he could win this battle and hopefully gain one victory towards an overall victory of this mini-war, at least in his mind it was a mini-war. He lunged at the other lion again, hoping for another blow. HP: 6

Bozkir tried to dodge the next attack, but so soon after the previous hit that landed upon his body, he could not move in time. He could feel the claws rake his skin. It didn't do much damage alone, but he could feel his body weakening already. Still, perhaps he could prevail even still. He had some energy in him yet, and he would not go down without a fight. HP: 6 (Result: Bozkir, -1 hp )
