...Why did he have to go destroy insanity creatures?!
With a whimper he walked back into the intense sunlight with Zanthvos in hand.

Since he had been walking for so long before, Jason wasn't sure how long it would take him to find a mob, and he began to hope that maybe he wouldn't find anything and be called back.

Sadly his dream would be crushed when he heard a rumble of shifting sand behind him, and when he looked to see what it was he shrieked at the sight of a large insanity...beetle. The hard carapaces was misshapen into wispy tendrils, but it's head possessed a wicket set of jagged mandibles.
Jason didn't care, he just started hacking and slicing the thing before it could kill him.

The sharp mandibles were painful to say the least, as the beetle rushed forward to clamp them around Jason legs. With a flinch he began to whack the hard shell with his sword to get it to back off.
Sadly the shell appeared to be quite touch, his weapon barely making a dent in it.

With a final burst of strength, Jason pierced the beetles hide and impaled the insanity creature on his sword.
Tired, bruised and battered, Jason hobbled back to base.
