[ Quest 4: Dispatch Team: ] You are asked to neutralize any insanity creatures that pop out from the sand.
- Create a PRP thread and title it [QUEST PRP ] Dispatch Team (PLAYER NAMES HERE).
- Next, write your introduction posts to your team having gathered their wits and gotten ready to do the process. When you are ready, have your team start searching by rolling 2d6. If the first dice you roll is 1 or 6, you have encountered a MOB. It can take any shape or form (of insects), so the person who rolled it can describe the creature. It has 40 HP and does the second dice's worth of damage damage (ie roll 1,3 and you find a bug that does 3 auto damage). Use normal battle mechanics to take it out, you do not need to rp out the battle after your first initial battle post. Once you have, this quest is considered COMPLETED.
- If you have started this quest prior to the update, just make a mob post to determine its auto damage. Use that for the duration of the quest.

After returning with the goods that they had found together, Noemi had yet to lose Milo to another group. Already they had been paired off with another hunter to rid the sands of a little bug problems.
She said she was going to be brave but it was hard when the mere mention of bugs reminded her of the Sahara and having them burnt out of her body.
If Cee or Milo looked, her usual rosy flush was gone, and she seemed a bit more paler, mouth sterner in expression.
hands shaking as she held the trident weapon in front of her.
"W...We just have to kill them off right?" She mumbled quietly.

When Cee had spoted Noemi she'd clung to her side immediately. Her last group had ended up lost in the shuffle and without the reassuring presence of Ever and Wyatt's male company, she'd felt a bit vulnerable. Thankfully Milo seemed to have been here longer and also was reassuring. "So they say.." Cee had her whips out though she still dangled them awkwardly. "Maybe if wer lucky we won't even find nothing." Of course it figured that to her left some blackened lump began to shiver and shake, rising up in some sort of living mass with a soundless screaming expression. "AH FUHCK!" The woman leapt back, putting Milo between her and the monster. MOB HP: 40/40 Auto Dmg: 1

No, Milo hadn't left Noemi's side and in many ways didn't intend to - perhaps to stick close to the first friend he located in the place and also for some inherent need to watch out for the small girl (especially after that Sahara incident). And finding Cee along the way was a plus, he had only just met her and to him this seemed like an excellent bonding opportunity.
'Cause nothing said getting to know one another like a mission of sorts; with like.. death and carnage. The Sun also kind of liked the idea of that you could get to know a person by fighting them.. or with them, whatever. Not that he totally knew how to read people like that but whatever.
"Aa, dude, that would be no fun!" As always, in high spirits as he adjusted the goggles on his face, his large smile hidden partially by his scarf. It grew just a little bit when they seemed to finally encounter something. And the weapon in his hand seemed to vibrate with anticipation.
Koume wasn't too pleased with not getting to see action in a while, had been nagging. His usual training sessions had been as boring as ever, and she had spent so much effort into healing him and yaddayaddayadda.
Well, this would work probably. And Cee had given him such a wonderful opening to get at it too, Milo wasted no time with going into the theatrics as usual; the way too many twirls and the spins and the lunging. But it seemed to add a little punch this time as the blade of the naginata ripped into the shadow creature of soundless screaming.Quote: mob hp: 29 damage: 11 hp: 49/50

"Y...Yes. If lucky." Noemi didn't want to hide behind Milo per se but it was hard not to use the sun as a somewhat meat shield when Cee's whips seemed to disturb a nest of something oh god what was it.
And since Milo was currently Cee's shield well...Noemi obviously had to be Milo's shield...r...right?
"We..We should think of this as fun. Si?" She was trying to even though the blob like shadow made a swipe at her, jumping back with a loud squeak and running behind Milo and....Cee.
She would whisper so many sorrys to Milo and make him food for this and she was so sorry Milo, she was trying but it was hard when they attacked first she got all flustered and terrified. What if bugs came out? What if Caelius came back and lit them on fire? She lived in the fear of what ifs!

"Fun?" The initial shock was wearing off. As both Milo and the shy Noemi went for the monster ahead of her, Cee was bolstered. It also hardly seemed to hit hard. A smile grew on her lips. "Yeah.. aright.. I mean it don't even got arms right?" The concept of stealth was lost, which upset her weapon, but with the others distracting it Cee was able to circle behind the thing. Thank god it didn't have eyes in the back of it's head. She struck with one whip, then the other, watching the metal cut against the creature satisfyingly. Noemi and MIlo got a reassuring thumbs up. "This.. ain't so bad." HP: 39 Dmg: 7 Mob HP: 27/40

Don't worry Noemi, Milo was equally sorry for totally not hitting the insanity creature that hard his second time around. Maybe it was because he was just so proud of you for stepping up and attempting to fight it - you tried, gold star! Had been staring with a wide smile that he didn't notice the creature had some speed to it and managed to dodge out of the way of the blade this time around. But still. "Best way to think about it, MagiBlue ~"
It was also good to see that Cee was getting into the spirit as well, had regained her footing and was able to take light in the situation. Even gave them a thumbs up. "Aa, dude, you got whips? That's awesome!" First time seeing that sort of weapon.Quote: mob hp: 21 damage: 1 hp: 48/50

Noemi, as if spurred to be braver by Milo's nickname, moved from behind the sun hunter. Instead of full on hitting it with her trident she more of....poked it....curiously.
"It...it's not too bad. It squishes." She mumbled, "It's not bug or giant teeth so we're okay?" Miss Cee pulled out her whips and left the mist huntress in awe. That weapon. DAT WEAPON CEE. "Ah Miss Cee. Is it hard to use whips? You make it look easy!" As if Cee knew her way around whips. (OMG I couldn't resist)
She would try her best to at least damage the creature once! She would prove to Milo and Cee should could at least hit things.

Cee struck the monster again, hardly professional but her partners seemed impressed enough and that lit her up brightly. "Don't alotta people got whips? I mean thers like a billion swords I figgered there was only so many weapons you could git." It was only now she realized that what they'd thought was a black blob was actually a mass of small insects, surging over one another to form another shape. Each strike knocked some free which skittered back into the refuse and piles of bones. "Oh ******** this is ******** nasty." She stomped one of the smaller bugs. "Is it always somethin nasty?" She looked at Milo as he seemed to be a bit more experienced than the two girls, and winked at him. "Boys gotta take care of bugs fer ladies." HP: 38/40 Dmg: 6 Mob HP: 15/40

"Ya, less chance of getting eaten," Milo added in with mirth - because there always seemed to be something around to eat him. This time not so much but some armless creature - or at least it was until it dissolved into a mass of bugs.
Awesome.
Milo made a small face before he pressed forward as he began to spear a few of the creepy crawlies as if he were picking up trash. Koume was less than pleased to be used in such a manner. "Sadly, ya, sometimes is rather nasty but I've heard there's been worse before? He shrugged, unable to totally recall things he had heard through the hallways of Deus. He made no comment about Cee's implications of his duty as a man, since he totally felt the girls were more than capable and all.

And then the black mass started turning into bugs falling off and Noemi had a very short lived panic attack. On one hand...she wanted to run far far away.
On the other was she had a cool new shiny nickname that made her part of Milo's team and she needed to live up to it. Magiblue was a brave ranger who could defend the green ranger in a pinch! It was an ideal she created and would live up to!
She closed her eyes and shoved Melusine deep into the creature thing, pulling bugs with it and dissipating the mess even more.
At least she wasn't hiding behind Milo much more.
"No No Miss Cee. We need to protect Milo just as much!" She didn't think Milo should kill them all!

Cee laughed but looked strangely sheepish. She was still uneasy with her weapon and talk of defense of any kind reminded her of that. "Girl I don't even know how to work these things..." As if on cue the bug mass spat at her, tiny spiders exploding all over her. Cee screamed and danced manically, "GETEM OFF!" Mob HP: 7/40 HP: 37/40 Damage: 0
