As Treecko was my original pick back in Ruby, I can say I am very pleased to be choosing him again with Sceptile's new epic mega form!
But I really gotta give Mega Swampert recognition for looking bulky and badass without looking just big. He looks like he's about to tear your arms off!
Most of all, I can't wait to see the Base Stats and how they can be used in competitive play. Swampert might return to OU if his Mega is good enough. And Sceptile will most definitely be getting more attention. Also, Lightningrod seemed weird at first, but it would certainly have use via Discharge in Doubles.
But most importantly, an immunity to the omnipresent T-Bolts, T-Waves, and Volt Switches of OU. Let me also remind you that he can now hard counter Rotom-W, immune to Volt Switch (no easy getaway!), resist the Hydro Pump, and scare him out with his own STAB Grass Moves, forfeiting the momentum Rotom-W is known for. Wil-o-wisp also isn't detrimental for the likes of Sceptile.
