First a human sacrifice, now he was tasked with searching the tower ruins for distortion fragments. Yves knew better than to question or second guess Medea's instructions at this juncture. Whatever the priestess was planning to do with these sacrifices and distortion fragments was big. Although distortion fragments were curious shiny items to most individuals like him, he had witnessed prior what they were capable of were they in the hands of one who knew how to harness their power.
He recognised that he had his own role and purpose in the grand scheme of things. If he was to lend his strength in such form to ensure that her plan would ultimately succeed, the Executioner would gladly play the role of an errand boil for now and fetch her what she required. It didn't exactly take him long to arrive at said destination, his gaze surveying his surroundings as he gradually descended from the skies so that he could sooner begin his search.

Around the outskirts you can see the remnants of a battle, and bloodstains that still look somewhat fresh . - Create a PRP thread and title it [QUEST PRP ] Fragments (PLAYER NAMES HERE). - Next, write your introduction posts to your team having gathered their wits and gotten ready to do the process. When you are ready, have your team start searching by rolling 1d6. There are lots of unusual shaped fossils to encounter, mostly blackened masses with mutated skulls, but none of them are threatening. If you roll a 6, you encounter a distortion crystal to bring back. When a 6 has been rolled 3 times your lime limit is up and you can head back. The quest is considered COMPLETED. Once you have completed this quest you can mark it as COMPLETED. Ol-j-man For Shikoba. Sorry if it's kinda blah... orz

Restraining himself from outright murdering hunters had been hard, but these tasks were important. Something like fragment retrieval would have normally gotten him annoyed, but it was for a good cause--and with an old acquaintance to boot, thankfully one who had actual sense about him as far as the situation was concerned.
"Yves! Let's get this started," Shik greeted him as he touched down at the rendevouz point. "I'm itching to draw hunter blood enough as it is, especially after that blasphemous sight back there." Horsemen who were actually considering peace and co-existance, as if that was something even remotely in their blood.

"Brother Shikoba. Or should it be Elder as befits your current status?" Yves perked up at the familiarity of the voice of the Elder Executioner who was joining him on this particular task, a rare smile crossing his features at his acknowledgement of the other's rise in status to an Elder Horseman now.
"You and I both. The rest will see for themselves that our way is true when they see the War clan restored to what it was." He didn't have much to add about the divided opinions that seemed to prevail among the Horsemen that were originally from the other clans during the earlier discussion, curiosity getting the better of him as he lifted a brow and posed a question to Shikoba.
"So you and Shaheen are... mates now?" There was no denying how close the Elder Chieftain and Executioner were as of late. He would have to be blind to not notice all that.

"Calling me 'Elder' sounds stuffy," Shik replied with a little grin, "however true it is." He was used to more colorful monikers, like "a**"; "Elder" made it seem like he was wise, when most of the time the horseman was a brawler looking for an excuse to fight.
This time, he was just doing so for the right cause.
Shik snorted at the mention of mates, turning over a skull with his foot. "You could say that," he told Yves. "But it does not quite fit what it is. I do not believe there is a word for it." He turned his hand over, showing his fellow executioner the red brand of Destruction. "We have been bound, to be sure. Why, did you think to take her from me?" he then asked with a smirk, clearly not meaning it.

"Perhaps it'll suit you more when you're older and with scarelings of your own creation." Yves agreed with a chuckle, inwardly amused by the images of miniature versions of Shikoba and Shaheen accompanying that particular chain of thought. It was kind of an irony that he would broach on the topic of procreation with another War Executioner who, like himself, was probably more attuned to bringing about death and destruction rather than creation. Even so, it would be sheer folly on his part if they concentrated solely on their revenge and forego rebuilding their homes and families which were equally important as well.
He gave a snort at Shik's taunt. "And risk both of your wrath?" A slight pause as if he was really giving the notion some thought even though he already knew what his answer would be. "Tempting. But I'll pass. Treasure her." He was genuinely happy for them both, the smile that he gave Shik saying it all as his gaze skirted the landscape around them briefly before settling on the same brand of Destruction that he had seen on the back of Shaheen's hand. "That's new. Where'd it come from?"
