"Here, take these to the reapers out there. The portal is over there." The instructions were as vague as they were, and the ghoul was somehow not surprised to find that there were more than one portal waiting for her. These would lead back to where she came right?
...
Griping the package tightly, Edel stepped through the first portal and found herself in the middle of the desert. The temperature was still bearable, but she didn't want to stay for too long.
"Hello?," she called out, "Is there anyone here?"
No reply.
The sands were getting into her eyes and the frost demon quickly formed a pair of goggles over them, taking the chance to look around for any sign of the reapers she had been tasked to find. Still, there was no one. Try again, she supposed.

Whether or not it was her who had somehow managed to lose her way after taking a few steps from the portal from which she came, or if it had been that the portal had mysteriously disappeared, the point remained was that she was now stranded in the desert.
.... She'd best find that reaper quickly, and get instructions for the way back. The ghoul hoped it really wasn't the case that she'd find herself even more lost than when she had started.
"Hello!" she called into the open, only to hear herself drowned out by the howling gusts of wind. Edel considered the risks of revealing the agency she represented. She would catch the attention of someone at the very least.
"Agency 66-" she began to yell. Before the last "6" could escape her lips, a hand was clasped over her mouth.
"Hush now," the voice commanded from behind her. The ghoul whirled around, an icy blade pointed towards the reaper who had by then prised the package from her hand. "Interns" he smirked, disappearing as quickly as he appeared.
... Great. How was she going to find her way back now.
