Seeing how the rest of the people in the building were dressed, Edel's first instinct was to smarten up and try to fit in, even though she really wasn't the intern they thought she was. First on the list was brew some coffee. Easy enough. It was a shame that there wasn't a request tea though.
The frost demon soon found the neglected coffee machines in the pantry, covered in dust, cobwebs and slime from the lack of use. Probably because everyone was so busy all the time, she hoped. Washing up a few mugs for the coffee, the ghoul pressed a button on the machine to find that nothing happened.
.... Was it broken?
The ghoul went down the list of buttons, hitting the one labelled Milk just as the coffee machine began to kick into action. Sighing, the ghoul was prepared to make an actual cup of coffee until she turned around to find a long line of office workers queuing for their drink. Panicking, the ghoul opened the fridge to find a golden coloured liquid that she quickly added to the milk before handing the mug off to the first one in queue. Milk and honey wasn't so bad right? The belated realisation that the liquid was actually Ichor was accompanied by a loud exclamation coming from the next room, cursing angrily and "interns are so clueless nowadays" and that "they don't deserve to be paid."

"Cappuccino please! Make it quick."
Edel hurried to place the mug in position, hitting the button for cappuccino and waited anxiously was the machine dispensed the dark coloured liquid.
... That didn't look quite right.
The ghoul peered into the cup, realising her fears that the machine had only dispensed the portion of espresso, without the steamed milk. There was an ominous roar that came from the machine before it grew quiet again. This time, the milk button had decided to stop working.
Rummaging through the fridge and the cabinets, Edel decided that some powdered skeleton would just have to do for now - hey, it had calcium too right?

"An iced coffee," the extremely pale-looking vampire next in line whispered hoarsely, looking as though he was about to collapse any time soon.
The coffee the machine produced as lukewarm at best, and although she could very well just add a bit of her ice to it, the frost demon thought that it would be very improper lest the others thought that she was being unhygienic or lazy.
As luck would have it, the ghoul would find some frozen blood cubes in the freezer which she added to the coffee, thinking it would be a nice touch and very considerate for the vampire.
The next thing she knew was that the vampire was being wheeled to the infirmary "due to severe allergies", and that she'd been fired from coffee duty.
