It had been literal months since she powered up. Her last fight with Buddington had left her in the hospital. Machholz didn't know how to fight, it was true. She had gotten lucky with the fights she'd been in previously and she'd gotten cocky. Her wrist had gotten broken from punching him wrong, and she only got the crap beat out of her from there. Machholz didn't even really do any damage to the red haired general.

With a shiny scar across her face in her, Machholz made her way over to the bridge she was beaten. It still stunk like sewage and garbage, and yet the fact she wanted to throw up or pass out had nothing to do with that. Her scars ached, her wrist was sore from the memories and she clutched her wrist to her. The very fact she was powered up right after she'd gotten the cast off her wrist said something. She was dedicated to ...something. Helping something. Earth? She didn't fit in with her court anymore. The doubts, the distractions, the meetings with all those poor senshi who were just cast out there like lambs to slaughter.

And yet abandoning the struggle wasn't something the white haired senshi could do. Her hair was pulled back into the usual half ponytail, but it was a lot longer now, easier to pick up in the breeze. "Why am I here?" She whispered to herself, rubbing a hand over her face. There were still stitch marks from when the stitches came out, that's how fresh it was after battle. Lila was going to kick her a** if she came home beat up again.

"Back on the horse, is the phrase.." Hopefully nothing happened. That would just be the worst luck.

To say that the past few months had been less than ideal for Erythrite would be a severe understatement. Her girlfriend ended up in the hospital with mysterious injuries, her little brother was out doing the crazy corrupt Senshi thing, and she was generally pissed at the world and at the Negaverse. Probably the only reason she still wore the damn uniform was a sense of obligation to the tattered remnants of her family. She couldn't abandon them, couldn't abandon Serenity, the way Cait had tossed her life aside for a shiny new one.

So she took her anger out on Order, and she was far more sadistic and violent than she'd ever thought herself capable of. A first-stage aura drew her in, and she approached slowly, surveying her prey. Weak and injured, or at least she suspected so.

"You shouldn't be out so late, girlie. There are people like me that go bump in the night." As she got a better look, she realized she recognized her - one of the first Senshi she'd ever fought.

Ooh, even more fun.

A hand pushed trough her hair before she felt a familiar aura. Tears almost sprang to her eyes before she reigned herself in and heard that voice. Yes. That was... "Frick," she whimpered, rubbing over the scar before turning to face Erythrite once again. Her eyes didn't have the determination they did before. Oh, the fire was there, but it was more like a tiny flame. She had to get herself under control. Fear couldn't rule her life.

Frick this bridge. This bridge was bad luck. Why did she even come here? "If I recall right," she said, trying to muster up the bravado that was needed, "I was the nightmare for you that night." Now? Now she had one weak arm and still soreness. This wasn't going to be an easy fight. Machholz doubted she could win it. She hadn't worked out in months, hadn't done anything but wallow, really, in her spare time and convince her girlfriend that it was fine. What excuse she used was that she couldn't remember what happened. That someone had gave her a drink and she woke up battered.

Of course the hospital had tested her and found nothing, but they believed stress and trauma caused her to forget. "Still want to tango with me? I'll be your poison."

It gave her a weird kind of pleasure to see how utterly defeated the poor girl looked. Erythrite prowled closer, grinning viciously. "Aww, someone messed up your pretty little face, how tragic," she said, and then she laughed. "Don't worry, sweetie, this'll be much better. I've taken a dance class or two."

She was light and quick on her feet, and she darted in, bringing up her knee towards Machholz's gut. It was so nice to have an acceptable target to vent all this anger on, and one she could throw around no less.

A snarl did come to her face as her scar was talked about. She was going to be very defensive about that. However, before Machholz could say anything, the lieutenant was right there in front of her and she found herself in a world of pain with a knee in her gut. Maccholz was horrified as her mouth opened and only spit came out, just like in one of those animes she watched sometimes. Groaning as she clutched her stomach, the Senshi of Poison tried to jump backwards.

She was out classed again. This wasn't a fair fight. Coughing a few times, Machholz knew she had to go on the offensive. So, she side stepped and raced in, weak arm swinging without really thinking about it. It was her dominate arm, what else was she going to swing with?

Erythrite just laughed, snapping her hand out to catch the punch and then twist Machholz's arm. "Oh, sweetie, don't you know when you're totally outclassed?" She asked, and then she released her grip on the girl's arm and threw her body weight into her, trying to knock her up against the pilings of the bridge.

Maybe she'd take her first senshi starseed tonight.

Caught and her arm twisted, Maccholz cried out as her back collided with the cement. She wasn't giving up, not yet. Tears sprang to her eyes as she looked up at the other woman and then lifted a leg and kicked out. "I'm not going to let you win!" Utter desperation was in her voice now, as tight and scared as it sounded.

She wasn't seriously hurt, not yet. He leg kept flying, kept trying to kick the Negaverse lieutenant. She needed to get away. Machholz needed to use her magic attacks.

No. She wasn't going to be destroyed tonight. She had to get back home to Lila, to her mom and dad. They'd stayed home while she was recovering! Tears fell down her cheeks as her foot kept kicking out, wanting to get the other away from her. Her non dominate hand swung out as well, hoping to aim a well placed punch to Ery's jaw and cheek area. "Let me go!"

Erythrite twisted and elbowed Machhoz's gut, laughing almost crazily. This was way more fun than hurting a human being should ever be, but she knew that Chaos was encouraging her. Honestly, she kinda liked it.

Machholz's fist connected with her jaw and she stumbled back, rubbing her face. "God, you're a persistent little b***h," she growled, and then she kicked out at Machholz's shins, planning to take her off her feet. The quicker she could get to the girl's starseed, the better. She could scare the hell out of her, then, before she died.

Down to her knees she went and Machholz cried out, whimpering. This was it. She ...This was her last fight, wasn't it? And she couldn't win. The tears streamed down her face harder, at the pain in her stomach, at the pain in her legs, at the simple fact she'd completely and utterly failed as a protector. Lila was going to be in so much pain because of her. She didn't... That.. She sobbed quietly to herself as she hung her head down, thinking of that beautiful woman she would never see again.

Machholz didn't have the strength to continue on. She would just run into someone else that was stronger than her, more resolved in their roll. "Please," her voice was thick and raspy, looking up at the other. "Don't.."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2014 6:40 pm

Erythrite slammed her boot into Machholz's chest, trying to knock her off her knees and onto her back. She was still grinning. "What's the matter? Finally realized you're doomed? Begging's not hot, by the way, not in this context." In other contexts? Well.

She pressed down with her boot, smirking viciously. Once this was done, she'd have a home to go to - maybe she should feel bad that she was denying this girl hers, but well, maybe she shouldn't have taken up the fight when she was so obviously weak and injured.

Down she toppled when that boot and heel slammed into her chest, knocking the wind out of her. Machhlz couldn't do anything else other than gasp and struggle for breath. Swallowing hard before the weight increased, Machholz looked up at the other girl desperately.

"I'll... I'll do anything," she managed to gasp out, her hands now clawing at the other girl's legs. "J-just let me... let me live..."
PostPosted: Wed Jun 04, 2014 6:40 pm

Erythrite pressed harder, laughing. "Oh, sweetie, no, I can't," she said, and then she shifted quickly so she was straddling Machholz. Her hand rested on the girl's chest, above her starseed. "Any last words?" She asked, a wild victorious grin on her face.

She didn't leave a lot of time to answer. Her hand sank in, and she grabbed on, squeezing but not breaking the thing. She didn't pull, either, just held it. That alone, she knew, would hurt like hell.

Nothing she could do would stop this, it seemed. Energy was draining from her completely, just like the color from her face once she realized this really was her ending. She whispered Lila's name as she felt her power slipping from her, no longer able to hold the form. Then the hand sank into her, squeezed something deep inside of her and Machholz let out a scream, loud, piercing scream.

Blackness was taking over her vision as she powered down. She couldn't. She was too weak to keep her senshi form going. Her hands grasped that hand in her chest, neither pulling, nor pushing. What happened if this woman took what she had in her hand. Serenity screamed again as a sob over took her, causing her body to lurch and twitch. This was more pain than the fight with Buddington put together.

Erythrite was feeling pretty pleased with herself until Machholz powered down - and as soon as she realized who she was on top of, she released her grip and removed her hand. "S-Serenity?" Her voice cracked, brokenly, and the officer vanished to be replaced by someone much more familiar.

"Oh, my god, Serenity, no," she whispered, her voice weak. "I'm sorry - so sorry!"

The grip was gone and she took several shuddering, hard breaths before she rolled to her side and coughed. She was sure blood would come up, but none did, just saliva. Turning eyes that were glazed over in pain she looked up at....

"Delilah," she gasped out, just laying down flat on her back, arms spread out. "W...Why?" Her voice was weak, wheezy, and broken with so many emotions on top of physical pain.
