As predicted by a majority of analysts and fans ranging from little kids to lifelong marks, Aiden would get his win back and tie the series at one a piece. The way it was done, however, was a bit malicious. A steel-chair swung almost endlessly at the bicep of Jake Roman before he would suffer defeat by his opponent. Though debuting only two weeks ago, there had been a huge distinction between the familiar opponents. Aiden was the relentless, unforgiving high-flyer who wanted to win by any means necessary. For Jake, he was going to show up, mat wrestle someone into oblivion, and call it a day; those were what his Saturdays required. But obviously, Aiden didn't want to fight with a pure display of showmanship, and with Roman already at a disadvantage from the beating he took a few nights before, he needed a new strategy. It was quite possible that the Kid would have to sink to personal new lows before he could come out of this series victorious and healthy. The signal of his entrance came with the Led Zeppelin classic beginning and the lights slightly dimming down with green and blue lasers dancing. The sign of his entrance lead to a pretty big pop by the audience, to Jake's surprise. Their emotions were a mix of respect for Roman's athleticism and poise, and disdain for his opponent's actions. The camera was filimg from the top of the ramp, showing Jake's back as he made his methodical approach to the live audience, masked and all.
"Immigrant Song" - Led Zeppelin Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ahh! Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh ahh! We come from the land of the ice and snow, From the midnight sun where the hot springs flow! Hammer of the Gods... "The following contest is set for one fall, and is the third match in BBW's best of five series! Introducing first, from St. Louis, Missouri, weighing in at two hundred seventy pounds.... Jake, Roman!"
Despite not being one hundred percent, Jake felt good about tonight. Last night was a display of how upset Aiden was over losing, or how determined he was to walk away from this series victorious. Too bad from him, Jake didn't like losing either. Scanning around the fans from the top of the ramp was a nodding young competitor with his facial expressions and emotions hidden behind his mask. He shook around his arms and hands, either to rid goosebumps or loosen up some muscles, and shortly afterwards started his march towards the ring. Not only were fans extending their hands, they could even be heard giving words of encouragement to the illegal drinker. As much as he had loved support from the crowd (as any young man entering the business would), it wouldn't change how he approached this match. New strategies, new gameplans, hell, new moves needed to be used in order to throw Aiden off his game. And without AJ Warner around to train him unconditionally, maybe Jake was more able to get back to an advantage. The quicker Jake was done with this series, the quicker he would be able to compete for championships and engage in matches with opponents foreign to him. Once reaching the bottom of the ramp, Jake hopped onto the apron and walked quickly towards his nearest turnbuckle. He climbed onto the second rung, and in one hesitant motion, removed his hood and mask to the crowd, revealing a confident poise spread across his face. However, when the sweater was completely removed from his attire, it was revealed he was still bandaged after last night. Having his right arm battered almost made giving any one of his finishers an impossible task. No handshakes would be given tonight; this was war.

What was once a man who wrestled in full, was now a man who wrestled seventy-five percent of his normal self. Aiden watched Roman make his entrance fully and very much so kept his vision on the television screen. He wanted to see the fallout from the match last night. It didn't take long for him to find out either, as he could see the medically wrapped arm of Jake seemingly displayed to everyone. What was more interesting was Jake wasn't all too fond of his typical handshakes. He even looked to take his sweater off much more cautiously, if not slower this time. Good. Jake wasn't one hundred percent tonight. Absolutely not. Hell, Aiden wasn't either. Jake put in some good shots on Aiden last night and Aiden himself even took quite a bit of chair shots throughout the match. Maybe not as many as Jake had received, but enough that Jake was quite quick to change up his gameplan on Aiden last night to adhere to weapon usages. Aiden's back still had visible light bruising in multiple patches. Clearly still a sore area.
The best thing about this was the fact that Aiden could easily target Jake's arm the entire match and brutalize it more and more. However, that was to be expected. Knowing Jake, if he was smart, he will have taken his pain killers and shot of lidocaine in the arm to numb the pain away significantly. If not, it was bound to be a long night for Jake absolutely. With that mindset, Aiden knew he'd have to focus on another area of the body. Seeing as his primary signature was the calf killer, it looked as if a good portion of tonight's match would consist of low blocks and kicks. Based upon the camera angles and the facial expression Jake has on his face though, it would appear as if the guy was not in the match to play games. Perhaps tonight would be one of their more fast paced and quicker matches overall. Not in a set of ending the match quickly, but how the momentum and progression of the match started and continued. If Jake wanted a war, Aiden would give him one. Aiden's back was a primary target, Jake's arm was just as target worthy.
As always, there was a five minute gap between the fading of his opponent, Jake Roman's, entrance music and the change of atmosphere that would provide the build up to Aiden's entrance. The lights of the titantron above the top of the stage would go black, as would the LED banners and the spotlights. The entire top of the stage from the end of the ramp up was pitch black with the only visible light peeking through the curtains of the second level exits. Now, smokey fog would begin to cloud up through the vents underneath the center of the stage, right above the top of the ramp. Visible lighting would now illuminate as only the sight of the smoke would be visible, for now. In a matter of seconds, there would be a silhouette of a man standing straight in the middle of the fog and nearly being engulfed by the thick clouds. Despite being engulfed in these clouds of fog, Aiden still looked up from his downward tilted head to see Jake in the middle of the ring. The whites of his masked eyes allowing proficient sight. Soon, his music would play.
Aiden's head would slowly raise once the opening of his song had started, but would wait for the opportune moment to react.
Boom. Taking two steps forward as a hand rose to his hoodie, Aiden would toss the hood of his hoodie backwards while removing his mask and quickly shoot his arms to his sides. His signature open armed taunt. Silver sparks would pop and start to shower down behind him through a lined vent above the entrance to the 'gorilla position' as the fog would start to dissipate. Aiden listened as the crowd rained down boos upon him for his actions as of last week against Jake. Purely unforgivable. Slowly, Aiden would lower his arms to his sides and take a moment to look at Jake Roman inside the ring. He would focus on Jake's injured arm from a distance for a brief few seconds before making his forward progression down the ramp. His music would continue to blast and lyrics never once failing to keep Aiden's blood pumping as his body moved forward towards the steel steps. Aiden was dressed in his typical ring gear, but with an added twist tonight. Sure, he had everything that he always wore to the ring. But underneath, was a sleeveless muscle shirt.
Do you really care? It’s not like it matters anyway What’s going to happen here? We’ll laugh about it all one day
"Making his way to the ring. From Charleston, South Carolina. Weighing two-hundred pounds.. Aiden Covell!"
Hey! Hey! What do you say? It doesn’t really matters Cuz it’s all the same Hey! Hey! What do you say? They're just gonna blame us anyway
Taking his time ascending the steps, Aiden's gloved hand would grip the middle rope ad keep it gripped as he walked along the apron. Knowing that it was only a matter of time before both men would start raining down blows, Aiden was looking forward to this. He would now grip both gloved hands on the top rope as he leaned back. Within seconds, Aiden would leap over the top rope gracefully in a display of parkour-like flexibility. Motioning for a ring attendant to come over, Aiden shrugged his black hoodie off sleeve by sleeve and removed his t-shirt with both of his arms crossed over one another in an 'X' pattern. His sleeveless muscle shirt displaying and covering the curves and physique of his abdomen. As the ringside attendant collected his things, Aiden took the opportunity to grip the top rope and lean back again. This time tugging on the ropes to loosen his his arms as well as raising a leg and resting his boot on the top turnbuckle. Leaning his body forward to stretch his left leg, then repeating the process with his right. A typical warm up while he wanted for the ring bell to sound and Jake to make a move.

Ding ding ding! The respectful gesture that commonly took place in each match this series was replaced with a thick tension. With his eyes locked on Aiden, Jake started to slowly circle around the ring at the start of the bell. He clapped his hands together in a rhythm to show that the crowd was behind him and that the odds weren't exactly in his favor. But Roman had a fire lit under his a** after last night, and he was willing to embarrass Covell for some moral vengeance.

Good, there didn't seem to be a display of respectful gestures in the match from the get go. If anything, Aiden thought he saw Jake's eyebrow arch in a form of pure disliking for him. That makes everything that much sweeter if Aiden toppled Jake in this match. Aiden simply kept a devious smirk on his face while he watched Jake circle around the ring towards him, Aiden mocking the movement as if both men were drawing a circle. with their boots along the inside ropes of the ring. Whether or not Jake was ready to lock up, Aiden was heading to the middle of the ring to go for it and it looked as if Aiden had some speed behind how he wanted it to get underway. He waited long enough to get his hands on Jake once again and now was his chance to keep Jake remembering who it was dangerous to underestimate him.

Pure size was what Jake needed to utilize in order to win this match. He wasn't the biggest guy in the locker room, but he had a hefty advantage on Covell and he was going to utilize that. Roman went to lock-up with Aiden and slide into a side headlock quickly. If this was done according to plan, Jake would drop to a knee in order to keep the aerialist grounded.

Aiden had to have an idea of how he'd make this match work in his favor. Where as both men were proficient in technical wrestling, Aiden possibly had the longer stride in explosive and quick thinking moves. Whether it be using the turnbuckles as vaults or middle ropes, Aiden used everything he could as a lift or an advantage. In this case, both men met in the middle of the ring. Tests of strength and after a few seconds Jake transferred into a side headlock. Aiden now caught in the flex of Jake's arm. Based upon the pressure Jake was giving already, yeah. Aiden could see the guy meant business. Upon Jake's decision to kneel down, Aiden thought it wise to ball his fist tightly and attempt a few shots against the side of Jake's kneecap.

Taking blows to the knee would pile on pain over time, so he had to think quickly. He released his hold shortly after trying to push Aiden's weight more towards the mat; he needed as much time as possible to rise back up and continue his methodical approach. Roman attempted to apply a hammerlock to his adversary, trying to get inside the head of Covell and work this match at his pace of choosing.

The more and more Aiden felt his middle knuckle dig into the small crevice in the side of Jake's kneecap, the more he felt he was doing damage. At least, enough that Jake seemed to be loosening up on his grip. What he didn't expect was for Jake to quickly go from a headlock to a hammerlock. If anything, Aiden expected Jake to simply let go altogether. Shows how much Aiden was on top of his target tonight. Regardless, Aiden's arm was cranked and torqued behind him with Aiden really having no real way to get out of it unless he used the ropes. While he'd think of a way to get to the ropes, Aiden would contemplate options as to how to reverse it with the less amount of damage done to his arm as possible.

No time needed. Jake shoved Aiden off of him, and a condifent and spiteful grin would overcome his face as he nodded to the crowd's approval. Covell could catch his breath for a second, but Roman was ready to not only try to show a big discrepancy in wrestling skill, but really get inside of Aiden's mind. Losing to almost a one-armed man and putting yourself in a sudden death elimination in the same match would be a massive blow to Covell's momentum, and it was exactly what Jake was prepared to accomplish tonight.

As debatable as it was as to what Aiden would do to reverse the clench on his arm, his strategy was all but null as Jake let go of his grasp. Aiden himself took no time to step forward and shake out his arm a bit. Looking back at Jake as the smug grin of the mans face made Aiden pissed. Clearly, the guy was messing with Aiden. Not visually pleased, Aiden stepped forward and placed both hands on Jake. Shoving him roughly as if to project his frustration physically. Who did Jake think he was playing mind games like that?

Stumbling a few steps back was the towering Jake Roman, happy to see that he instigated aggravation out of Covell. He looked to take a step forward and quickly drop to his knees again, looking to sweep the smaller man off his feet by going to swipe his arm towards the back of Aiden's knee.

Keeping his eyes on Roman, Aiden was rather surprised that the guy wasn't pushing back as expected. Again, expectations seemed to be the bane of Aiden's existence right now. Instead, Roman dropped to his knees and would aim to try to sweep Aiden's legs from underneath him. Jumping up with his knees tightly tucked close to his chest, Aiden would dodge the sweep of the arm and angle his decent to the mat. His back aiming to be the first thing that hits the mat, but with his legs bent, Aiden looked to attempt a front dropkick on the way down to catch Jake off guard.

With nowhere to turn himself away from the impact, Jake quickly fell to his back from the maneuver. Aiden could strike as quickly as he could or give Roman some time to use the ground game to his advantage. The best solution for both of these men heading into a tiebreaking match? Think fast.

Thankfully, that progress of moves worked out in Aiden's favor. Plus, it was quite the flashy looking counter too. Going from leaping up from dodging an arm swipe and converting it on the downward fall to a dropkick? Skills. Like minded in the fact that this was a pinnacle tie breaker match, Aiden personally agreed that the fast paced method of wrestling was necessary. Seeing as they were both on the mat, Aiden would attempt to target Jake's arm with a quick arm bar. Aiden would have been kneeling while doing this and torquing Jake's arm as he saw fit, should the move play out.
