< SANDAR LAKE POOL PARTY! BYOPC! ( Bring your own pine cones!) > ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A mysterious invitation to Sandar Lake was slipped under the door/frame/stall inviting Azrein and Beings one and all to come to a fantastic Lake Party. It asks for the guests to please bring snacks for themselves, a few others, and, of course, pool toys to enjoy while splashing around in the cool waters of Sandar Lake. Something about magically salting one part of the lake to imitate this 'Ocean' thing was casually mentioned, but in excitement, who really reads that stuff? Still, of course you go! A party? How can you pass that up? Arriving, a mysterious man has set everything up that you could possibly need. Sunscreen? Check. Cabana tents? Check. Tiki Bar? Check. Stupidly difficult to inflate flotation devices in novelty shapes already blown up? Check. Fruit? Check. Ice? Double check! There really isn't much need to do anything than relax and enjoy a fun day at the beach on the lake! Azrein of all shapes, colors, and breeds are wandering about, playing , their Chosen or just people wanting a good time are not too far away. Some are splashing in the magical salt water ( ..warm? Omg its tropical! ) and others are just having a good time trying all the drinks and exploring/climbing on nearby rock faces. Whomever made this sure put a lot of work into it. Happy summer everyone!

Ayita had swam quite far considering she came up from the south. With her fleeing the waters she called home to relocate. Well a party was quite refreshing. A day of relaxing and lazing about talking to others? Well that is just nice! Swimming further she comes to the salty area. The temperature is slightly warmer than the rest of the lake. Eyes alight with excitement she swims up towards the surface. Blue head and hair breaks the surface as she looks around. Will her sister be here? She has no idea. But she isn't going to dwell on it. Swimming closer her hooves start to touch the ground as more of her body is seen. Stopping at this point she looks around. Oh how wonderful the decorations are!

Sitron trots up to the party, somewhat in awe of how nice it is. I mean, a party's always a good time, but who would've thought it would be this great? And the invitation didn't even mention the Tiki Bar! He waltzes up to it, sampling a few drinks before wandering off to splash in the shallow water near the shore.

Often shy and quiet, Deorsa heard about a happening party at Sandar Lake where everyone and anyone were invited to celebrate the summer season. A fall season Azrein by nature as he did enjoy the colors and change in weather, of course because he looks like the fall and was born during that season, Deorsa decided to attend this party.
Why not? Any season was a good season and because it was at the lake where the water was just right for swimming, who knows he might meet a friend or two. That would definitely be good for this stallion. Making a short trip from his small home to Sandar Lake he saw the set up of the party and felt this overwhelming thrill of excitement, feeling almost like a foal. Flicking his thick and long tail and shaking out his mane Deorsa trotted closer to explore the food and drinks seeing another Azrein who looked tropical there swimming on the shallow.
Should he go and say hello? No he shouldn't. Yes he should. Deorsa looked at the drinks and took a sip of some having an inner debate on whether to actually greet the other Azrein or leave the male alone in his swimming. This was a party but the rather socially awkward Deorsa wasn't sure on what to do!

Sitron prances through the water, loving the way it splashes up around him, little droplets landing on his body. He starts to go deeper, the water rising around his belly, when he notices a flash of color out of the corner of his eye. He turns to see a stunning Azrein with all the colors of autumn foliage. Was the stallion looking at him? He could swear he'd caught his glance for a moment. Perhaps it was a coincidence. In any case, he thought this would be a good time to go back for another drink. Wading back to shore, Sitron shakes his body like a dog to free himself of the water and approaches the stallion. Giving a friendly nod to the Azrein, he takes a sip of a drink before asking, "So how are you enjoying the party?"

Thramachat heard of a gathering of azrein near Sandar Lake, and she just had to come. She fled from the safety of Serenity, Dea, and Mira to come here, wondering if they would follow her soon afterwards. She just had a feeling that her family might be here. It was a gathering of all, right?
As she approached the lake, she saw how beautiful the place was, and wow! There were so many azrein around! Oh goodness. She saw piles of fruit. And not just any fruit. Apples! Like the ones that Dea and Mira fed her when they first met. Without any hesitation, she battled the apples, trying to eat as much as she could. MMM!

Ayita moves lower into the water as a stallion had entered the water. Steering clear she feels shy. They aren't like her.. They have no fin. They would consider her a freak! Watching silently she see's that there are others approaching and coming to the party. Will anyone notice that there is a blue head with blue hair in the water? Sighing she gathers up her courage. She should go over.. but that's land... Maybe someone would bring her a drink? Moving closer to the edge more of her body can be seen. The stripes and the very hint of the scales along her tail. Stopping she looks around. Should she get others attention? Or perhaps just stay where she is? Ayita doesn't know! Looking around she clears her throat before hesitantly speaking. "Would one of you two stallions mind... uh... getting one of those apples.. or something to drink and pushing it over here on one of the floating trays?"

Deorsa's internal struggle ended when that very stallion he was debating on greeting came over to the bar to have his own drink and took a step back to give space...and because he was nodding like an awkward teen when he was a fully grown, gorgeous, stallion. Gulping silently Deorsa got a hold of himself and nodded slightly. "Y-Yes...Well I think I am enjoying the party. Hello. I'm Deorsa."
What a horrible way to respond to this bright stallion with a unique hair style that was actually really cool. Smiling slightly, he looked away shyly when he heard the voice of a female coming from the waters. Looking over he stared at the beauty and looked to the yellow and blue male. "U-Um....Why don't we bring her both things? That way I have a very good reason to enter the water and not go hiding among the rocks."
Deorsa said by his way of humor then mumbled to himself that he was being silly.

A small grin formed on Sitron's face as Deorsa introduced himself. "Ironic that such a vibrant looking stallion would be so shy," he thought to himself. "I'm Sitron," he responded, "It's nice to meet you, Deorsa." His head also turned as he heard the mare's voice, then back to Deorsa as he suggested they do as she asked. "Of course, of course," he says, placing the food and drink on a tray for her. "You wouldn't enter the water anyways?" he asks the stallion. "This is a lake party after all," he says with a chuckle.

Blushing brightly he nodded and was glad that the stallion got the pretty mare something from the Tiki bar and the apples that were close by, especially when a filly was munching as much as possible. If she weren't careful the filly could get a stomache.
Shaking out his wavy hair he looked at the rather nice stallion and nodded, smiling slightly. "Yes it is a lake party....I just it might have taken me until no on was around to enter the water. I'm not used to these gatherings even though I've somehow convinced myself to come here." Pressing his lips together he nodded towards the water. "Let us go join the mare? I suppose now is a better time to enter than doing so alone."

Sitron listened attentively to the stallion's explanation, nodding his understanding. Or at least, his feeling of such; he was a more outgoing Azrein and didn't have trouble being in front of others. "Yes, of course. It'll be much more fun in the water with others than alone," he says, sauntering over to the water with the tray. He steps much more carefully than when he was in the lake earlier, trying not to get water on the objects on the tray; he'd have to refrain from splashing, "At least for now," he thought with a grin. "Here you are," he says as he sets the tray in front of the mare.

Ayita smiles brightly when the two stallion's do indeed get her a drink and an apple. Surely that mare wouldn't mind one apple not going to her. She knows that she can't very well stay in the water all the time. Yet she doesn't want to exactly show how different she is yet. " Thank you for fetching it for me. I am most grateful. It's silly but I didn't quite want to leave the water. It just feels so refreshing!" Smiling at how nice the stallion that brought the tray to her is. She takes a sip of the drink. It is definitely different. Fruity tasting a bit.. Shifting slightly she has her tail move under her and the very tip of her tail fin is holding the tray in place. She doesn't know if the two will notice.. Yet hopefully if they do. Perhaps they won't comment?

D'reighton - Dreighton was walking in the middle of the pack of azrein who had adopted him into their bachelor group after he had been accepted into the greater herd plains. He glanced from male to male, a bit apprehensive about going to an actual party in public, but the romantic part of him held out hope that everything would be okay and no one would ridicule him for turning over to the light side. He hoped that no one he remembered would be here. It would probably force him to fight old acquaintances to save his new friends.Atanzaw – Atanzaw draped a wing over D’rei’s shoulders, minding the others wings. It would not do to get stuck in a bro tangle in front of everyone else and there was always the chance of ripping a wing membrane. “It's alright, we got your back.” He whispered to the hesitant purple stallion. Atanzaw felt sorry for D’rei after he heard the story of how his mother tricked his father into thinking she loved him, then when she got what she wanted she dumped his butt and trained his offspring to put a hit on him. D’rei had participated but could not bring himself to attack his father as his brothers had. Compared to D’reighton, Atanzaw’s loving family was well the shiny side of the coin.Dionysus – Dionysus glanced at the other two, noting the exchange and then swiveled his eyes back to the antlered stallion on his other side. Cataclysm looked oblivious to the friendly exchange not 7 feet from him. Dionysus at least paid attention to more then what was just in front of his snout. He hid a snort and then he too looked at the party up ahead.Cataclysm – Cat was power walking toward all the excitement, this was going to be a blast, he could tell. There would be so many ladies around and how could they resist his handsome self. He reached the edge of the gathering and trumpeted. “We are here!” As if they needed to be announced. Four big stallions with various accoutrements, they could probably be seen from miles away. Just like Cataclysm liked it. Like Dionysus he cared not a whit for politics, there were more important things then good and evil...like food, brawls and of course the ladies...had he mentioned them already?

Millicent wanders along the shoreline as she inspects the flow of newcomers. She indeed got a invitation and decided. Heck why not? She even vowed to herself that for this one day she would at least be civil if not tolerable. Though being nice is not at all in her whole being. Nope. She caught glimpse of the steak in the water but than again. Hippocampus's have always looked like food to her. Stepping close to where the drinks are she takes one and goes to sit down. Her tail resting on the sand flat as she lowers herself to lay on the ground. Looking at the antlered male as he speaks out she shakes her head and scoffs." My my. Aren't you the cocky one!"
