The sun was setting as Amarea moved along the borders, tail flicking idly. Her bright eyes were half lidded, having only woken up a little while ago. Her body seemed to sway with each step, her features still holding a general pleasantness to them even while sleepy.
She took one glance back at pride rock before a slow smile spread over her maw and she shifted direction, actually crossing over into the rogue lands. She'd never traveled far from her lands, but she still liked to go out a little ways. More often than not it wasn't as satisfying as it used to be, though.

 Bee flopped on to his side, it was hot as heck out. His current position was laying down under a tree trying to get some shade while panting in an attempt to get air. Thank goodness the sun was setting soon or he feared he would melt away. Night meant coolness and that sounded great right about now for Besart.
Curling sleepily into himself Bee watched the world go by for a moment as he stared blankly ahead. He hadn't seem much of his family lately but that was understandable they had lives to live. Pouting he pawed the earth before pawing the earth. Soon it would be time to head back in for rest, and boy did he enjoy sleeping. One time someone had tried to wake him up... well lets just say never will that happen again. He snorted in amusement at the past memory. A sound broke his inner thoughts and he perked up wondering who that could be.

Amarea's bright gaze caught sight of the handsome pridelander almost immediately after crossing out of the prideland's territory. She slowed her pace, and then came to a stop. She watched him for a moment, his colors wonderfully suitable for the pridelands but he was not a lion she recognized. That was not really uncommon for the pridelands, of course.
"Hello." She spoke gently, in a way that was half amusement and half coy. She moved forward slowly, as though slightly cautious. "Are you skipping out into the rogue lands for a while too?" She spoke the words as though sharing a secret with the other, her gaze glittering with a playfulness. This would also help her to find out if he was a pridelander or not, hopefully.Tara de Draiocht tag back! biggrin if this post or any after have something you don't like / need changed just shoot me a PM!

His left ear flickered as the sound of a soft female voice broke the silence. "Why hello!" He cheerfully wandered closer, sleepiness forgotten at the prospect of interaction. "Hmm, I could be!" His attention span changed from heading to bed to the possibility of going on an adventure with a pretty companion. "Is that where you're headed? To the rogues? Or oh! Are you a rogue looking for safe passage through the Pride Lands? If so-" He puffed out his chest proudly. "I could help you out! Imma member, in fact I was born within these lands." Bee eyed the female she looked like a pridelander, but maybe she had left the lands and then came back? He mentally shrugged, it happened all the time. "It looks like a nice night for a stroll that's for sure!"

She found herself giggling, shaking her head a little. "I was born in too!" She answered simply, grinning. "But I definitely agree, a nice night for a stroll! And what walk isn't made better by company?" Her tail flicked and she moved forward and passed the male, glancing back. "Coming?" She seemed to have no problem inviting a stranger along with her.
"I'm Amarea, by the way." Her tail flicked as she waited for him, and then began to walk with him. "Do you know any really great spots, hmm?" She smirked, head tilting. "I've found a few. There's a really great area about the same distance from here to pride rock that way..." She gestured with her paw. "Little flash-bugs start to come out around now!" She laughed at this, she found them to be quite delightful. "And that way... is a really nice watering hole." Her tone dropped back to a whisper, "Honestly I like it a bit more than the ones in the pride, but don't tell!"Tara de Draiocht annnd tag heart she's talking about fireflies lol

"Oh I see then!" He didn't even pause before continuing. "Sure! I love walking! I love company Amarea! I'm Besart~"He wiggled before jumping on a large stone that was conveniently there to walk along. "Hmmm." He tried to think of an area that stuck out. "Well... there is one but sometimes it can get busy--BUT it sounds like you have an idea so why not go with your area~!" He turned to look at her with his jaw down a little. "That sounds so neat! Everytime I try and stay up I end up falling asleep instead." He laughed. "Oooh swimming sounds like great fun! I wouldn't mind that at all! Lead the way Ama!"
He leaned down to whisper back, "You don't have to worry at all. I'm really good at keeping secrets~"

She laughed joyfully when he said he was very good at keeping secrets, obviously tickled that he would play along. After all, there was no crime in liking a roguelands watering hole more than a Pridelands one! Er… she didn't think that was honestly a crime, anyhow.
"Sleep is great anyways! No shame in falling into slumber." Amarea went along cheerfully, tail flicking every so often. "Oooh, wanna have a race when we get to the water?" She grinned. "A swimming race!" She added, eyes bright and playful.

He nodded his agreement, "Yup-" He made the p sound 'pop'. "Sleeping is a great way to spend the day... er or night sometimes!" He paused frozen with a front paw in the air before turning his head towards Amerea. 'A race?' He thought with excitement, this was his kinda female! "Oooooh, that sounds like a fantastic idea! Last one there is a rottenin' warthog!" He took off towards ... well technically he had no idea where he was going other than forwards. Maybe he would be lucky and find the water? Wouldn't that be great! He sped up, his paws eating up the grass.

Amarea was having an excellent time and was glad of it. She would have to remember to get the name of her new friend, to be able to go looking for him when they were both back in the pridelands and settled. Some days it was hard to find a specific member, other days not so much.
When he suddenly took off calling out about rotten warthogs Amarea squealed, leaping to her paws and in a burst of speed dashed after him. "Hey! Totally not fair! Touché!" She called out, her yelling was playful and joyful more than it was angry.
A race before the swimming race was great too.Tara de Draiocht One more post from you, wrap it up & I can start us a new thread at the watering hole? (or we could continue here, up to you!)

Besart let out a small snorting chuckle at the squeal behind him. "Mawahahha! " He turned his head and stuck out his tongue quickly before facing towards. The air was perfect, the day was perfect, heck everything was perfect! Besart loved to run and get his muscles going, it was a great way to not have your body grow feeble... though to some it would appear that his smaller stature was... feeble but he usually showed them what a small package could do.
"Let's do this!" He shouted before letting out a roar which caused a flock of birds to scatter. Bee was really looking forward to swimming as the sun was starting to let off a lot of heat and his was becoming too much to handle. Just around the bend and ontowards new adventures!
