Ambushed!Prompt As you are going about your business in Eowyn, you hear a strange humming sound, a buzzing in your ears more felt than heard. Turning around you see a strange thing floating towards you. A suit of shining steel armor, gilded and encrusted with sapphires, that's missing the legs. A glowing ball of blue magic swirls where the legs should be and from the helmet's eye slit comes a matching blue glow.
It pauses as it looks at you and suddenly you hear a strange rumbling whisper. Gravely, metallic, yet soft... dangerous.: " ... Dragon like Form Sighted. Not A Dragon. Must Bring Back."
You must fight! Please roll for a Hunt in this Sub forum! Mara Stats: You need to roll a 71-100 to win! This is the same for everyone. You gain your level in EXP for a win and half of your level for a loss. (So if you are level 100, you gain 100 EXP for a win and 50 EXP for a loss.)
If you win, then the glowing lights flee back towards the location of the Marlan Project as the metal armor falls to the ground, becoming lifeless again. If you lose, the strange creation will track them for a while, until they reach a port or clan of Khehoras. Please quote the Mule in your thread once you have completed your responses. A last prompt will be provided.
If you do not wish to do this, please PM the mule ASAP and let us know! You do not have to participate if you do not wish. Character: Carrion Stage: Khehora Current lvl: 48 Luck: 31 Creature: Mara x 11 Sucess Rate: 71-100 Rolled 86 Battle outcome: Win! 48(48/forty-eight) = 48 Left over Exp Bin: 22/48 --> 22/49 with 1 lvls gained! (Lvl 49) LUK: 31 --> 31 (0 Victories in Range) Luck loss count: 0/3 --> 0/3

Carrion hissed in annoyance as a bouken scrambled out from under his claws, quickly evading his teeth and pelting away as a burst of wind magic was shot after it. The Ayrala didn't think of how he could pull it from its feet with with a simple gust. Instead, he pounced after it, desperately trying to keep his ruby orbs on the tiny creature, even if his bony mask wasn't conducive to it. It was only a matter of moments before the creature had escaped him, and Carrion was left hissing, annoyed, and hungry as he glowered around for the small meal, sticking his nose under rocks as if it had squeezed into the ground, somehow.
Nothing. Again. The Nekkora sulked. Even if a bouken was hardly a mouthful, anyway, at least it was meat. Real meat and not... crispy insect bodies. Oh well. No lunch meant he had to head back into the valley to find a snack. And a drink. And anything else he could get his hands on that would make this loss seem... any less pathetic. He half wished a dragon would come along, just so he could remind himself that, while skittish prey animals could evade him, he was not weak nor useless.
The Ayrala snorted and fanned his wings, preparing to kick from the earth. But something gave him pause. A rumbling in the wind. A humming that made his eardrums quiver. Vispirii? The insects had a strange way of humming that almost reminded him of this peculiar sensation. Instead, when Carrion turned, he saw only the glare of the sun bouncing off of steel. So, a two-legger making that funny sound? "Isn't it a little dangerous for... a two-legger to... be..." He trailed off as he noticed the form was actually missing legs. His eyes narrowed as he glared at where the limbs should be and then back up to what he could only assume was the head.
He was pretty sure it was staring at him too. " ... Dragon like Form Sighted. Not A Dragon. Must Bring Back."
Metallic, shining, capable of speech. Even capable of thought? Maybe? Carrion took a step away from the floating armor. "I know you aren't talking about me." Didn't everyone know what Khehora were? Though Carrion did like to think himself special as far as others of his race went... Either way, when the thing glided toward him with a little too much purpose, Carrion leaped back. It had a weapon; a pole arm, and if the floating and glowing was any indication, than it must be magic as well. And if it thought it was taking him anywhere, it was wrong.
It glided forward again, and as it moved nearer, Carrion puffed out his chest, filling his lungs and cheeks with his own power before spitting out a bullet of air that shoved the glowing armor through the air. It righted itself quickly and adjusted its grip on its weapon. The Ayrala tipped his head in confusion. Most things would've been knocked off their feet for- Oh, right, no feet. And it didn't seem to need to breath, either, which meant it couldn't be suffocated. His tail flicked as he prowled around it. Wind magic against steel was probably not the best attack. But he was still a Khehora! He had his superior size, weight, vicious teeth and claws, and he wasn't losing to something that didn't even have a body.
With a roar, Carrion dove forward, latching his talons around the armor's weapon and forcing his weight down, pulling the thing from its owner's grasp. Once it had been successfully removed, the Ayrala slammed his side into the armor, pulling the two of them to the ground. He wasn't a large or particularly heavy Khehora, but what kind of feral beast would he be if he couldn't dent a little steel? With his opponent down, Carrion reared back on his hind legs before pouncing down. Repeatedly. Like a snow beast fishing in Aisko. It was probably more persistence than his own strength that dented the shining cuirass.
But with that, he also proved that he wasn't prepared to allow it to get up again. If he'd been a Gaili, like his father, than he would have buried it. Instead the glowing miasma that made up the armor's legs left the steel behind as soon as it was overpowered. The glowing lights flitted together and then shot across the land. "Hey, wait!" Carrion spat, fanning his wings and bolting into the air to give chase. But even his with wind filling his wings, he could not catch them.

What do you do? Who do you tell? Do you tell anyone? You've encountered something that has intelligence yet has never before been seen... And it's quite hostile! "Bring Back" These words make you think that maybe there are more of them out in the desert.... Please provide a small response. If you have 500 total words in this thread, this counts towards your RP Reqs or as a Hunt Req (you choose).

The Nekkora grimaced as he landed, having already been left behind by the strange form. Whatever it was, it was gone now, and it had left empty-handed. Not that that was surprising. Carrion never would've allowed himself to get captured by... some legless thing. He glared after it, but there was simply nothing else to be done. He rolled his shoulders and cracked his neck before plodding off to scour out a cave for the night. It was peculiar that it hadn't recognized him as a Khehora... he didn't know there was anything capable of speech that didn't recognize his kind... He'd lived on Eowyn for as long as he could remember and had never seen or heard of something like that... He'd have to keep his eyes and ears open for anyone or anything that looked like that or seemed like tthey knew something about the weird creatures.
