"Odd Fleshy Life Sighted. Not Recognized. Must Bring Back."
It was an announcement, a rather rude one, that had Merikh turning from what he was doing to look toward the strange, rocky... thing that was floating there in front of him. He starred a moment, then started to laugh, "You call me odd? Look at you, you're a talking rock. If anyone here is odd it's you, Rocky." He told the... thing. What in the world was it, an elemental perhaps? It didn't really interest him, not in the way a dragon might, but given the fact that it was so determined he probably couldn't just ignore it, could he?
"Ugh, I suppose I should deal with it, huh?" He asked of Yolana who gave a bit of a shrug, as though she wasn't quite sure what they were dealing with either. Given the fact that the creature was so determined to bring him back... somewhere he supposed the best way to go about things was to just dispatch this thing, look it over to see if hand anything interesting on it, and then he'd move on.
Taking his massive sword off his back he motioned to his bodyguard, "I will deal with our rocky friend here then we can get back to dragon hunting. You wait here, Yoyo, if I get in trouble feel free to join me." He told her before he lunged into battle, his massive sword arching out in a few well placed attacks that went for what he assumed were the elemental guy's joints. He was able to remove an arm, ducked under the creature's hammer, took off the next arm, then removed it's head.
The pair of Oblivionites watched as the creature collapsed to the ground, leaving behind a pile of rocks and metal... and suddenly there was a flash of dark green energy that seemed to abandon the creature's rocky body before flying off. He watched it go, gave the worthless heap of rock and metal a glance, then turned back to his companion, "Yeah... that was a waste of time. Come on, Yoyo, let's get back to dragon hunting, at least are of some use to us." He said before the two of them returned to what they had been doing before they were so rudely interrupted.

Merikh was all for just getting back to what it was that they were doing, he had zero desire to put what he was doing on hold just because some uppity statue thought that it was going to dare to get in his way. As if he was afraid of something so foolish looking! Yolana on the other hand, she did look at the thing as more then just a simple, one time threat. It appeared as though the creature wanted to drag Merikh back with it. It's words, while simple, held a threatening tone to them. She felt that they really shouldn't stick around Eowyn if there were things that she didn't know about skulking about the area.
After a moment she trotted forward, reaching a hand out to touch it to Merikh's shoulder. When he turned to give her a look she spoke, something she did only very rarely, "Shall we find some Aiskala to provide you with a better challenge, Master Merikh?" She asked of her fellow Oblivionite, knowing full well that the word 'challenge' was the best bait to get Merikh to move from one place to another. If she wanted to protect him she had to get him out of harms way, to do that she had to get him out of Eowyn, "Perhaps a trip home to drop off your orbs, then onward to Aiskala?"
"Aiskala? Hm, I suppose that we could go there. I hear it's a boring, icy Hell... but this place is a boring, sandy Hell so I suppose we would just be trading one extreme for another." He mused, seeming to think on it for a moment before he finally nodded, "Yeah, why not. I've been meaning to visit with my mothers anyway." A trip home would be be nice, it had been some time since he'd been back and he did miss his mothers, not that he'd be so quick to admit to it of course.
Yolana nodded her head, watching as he turned toward where the port was located, falling into step behind him. Good, good, once they got back she would let his parents know about the strange creature that had attacked them. Best to pass on such information since it was her job to do so. They wanted to know everything that was going on as far as Merikh was concerned, such doting parents they were she thought to herself as the two of them headed toward the port which would take them home to Soudul.
