Unfortunately i had to ban someone for violating the rule #7 of the guild in repeated occasions.
Rule states: "No Begging!!. You may share links to your quest thread, but begging for donations or repeatedly making other Alchemists uncomfortable will cause immediate banning from the guild."
I apologize if this banning disrupts anyone's friendship/conversation with this person.
Please review the sticky with the rules and if you find any issues, feel free to PM me for clarification or to voluntarily leave the Guild.
I try to be fair so, proof and explanation under spoiler.
The user had sent me a couple of PMs like this one asking for items. It might be a misunderstanding because the language is confusing for lack of punctuation, so i let it pass.
This is the conversation that made me enforce the rule. Posts 1 2 3 45
That comes from a wonderful thread, a collective effort to benefit multiple people, and the person posts asking for items and when asked not to do it again, still insists.
The person was banned with this explanation:

Hi black butler 9, Unfortunately, you have violated rule #7 of the guild in repeated occasions. Rule states: "No Begging!!. You may share links to your quest thread, but begging for donations or repeatedly making other Alchemists uncomfortable will cause immediate banning from the guild." If you're interested on feedback on how to improve your communication through Gaia, or you need the proof where you violated the rules, Pm Me (MaclauMo). We wish you good luck in your Alchemy journey!
if anyone feels the need to discuss this action, feel free to pm me or post below.
I have received a [series of PMs] from him begging me to let him back into the guild. I tried to explain to him that it is not my decision, and I tried to be patient with him, but it is grinding on my nerves.

I actually feel sorry for him/her making those efforts ._. He/She clearly is "trying" in his/her own way. A very... annoying way which I doubt he/she is even aware of.
Those images you took would make a good troll trophy album though.
MaclauMo
I'm in no position to ask but might I suggest putting the gubbin in probation if there was such a thing?
I feel pity at his/her misery.

Troll trophy? ^^;
I took some time away from the computer to do some chores and thought things over. I do feel a bit bad for him and for how I reacted because, if what he said was true, it was not entirely his fault. People with Asperger's have a hard time understanding non-verbal communication (i.e. writing) and interpreting emotions based on that. So Gaia would give him a hard time, especially with my tendencies to write long posts. It would also explain why his posts are a bit hard to read and full of typos and grammatical errors.
If what he said about having Asperger's is true, he's just someone playing Gaia on hard-mode instead of the typical teenager with poor grammar and no manners. I'll be honest: I really thought that he was some troll and CB beggar. Now though, I am not so sure.
I sent him an apology because I think my responses to his PMs were a bit harsh.
That said, the decision to have him back into the guild is still with Maclau and other members. I just tried to present his side of the argument in a more...articulate fashion.

Asperger's? hmmm that certainly is quite an interesting side of the story. I'm actually interested in the person now that you put it that way. The first reaction to the album you showed was roflroflroflroflroflroflroflroflroflroflrofl
How dense could someone possibly be to not get it? But then as what you've put it, playing gaia on hard mode, I do not know the extent of his/her support system in real life but I can somehow guess he/her has it harder than most people. This one is just gaia being bad, who know what kind of people could have made fun of him/her outside the net.
I'm now convinced he/she deserves another shot (and maybe some momentary consideration in reacting to his/her future actions)
EDIT: Maclau is online. makes me wonder how bad her inbox is flooded by now rofl

Haha, I always have some admiration for people who can laugh at trolly posts easily. It takes me some time to calm down 'cause my first reaction is always to get angry. xP
Yeah, I don't know much about his personal life. And not just outside of the net too. Certain parts of Gaia is ruthless, so I'm thinking that maybe this guild is one of the few groups of people who don't actively give him a bad time.
I'm still on the fence about giving him another shot. I'll have to think about it some more.
Still reading xd i apologized on the other thread, but i repeat it here, no one asked me to take any actions, i did it on my own, and i feel bad you guys got somehow involved.
i think there's always something positive that can be done, when people are willing to talk and listen, so i'm sure there's something good that can come out of this.
i appreciate your patience, and your kindness whee

I wish to say something.
Aspergers or not, it cannot be used as an excuse. If they have that much trouble, then they need to put that much more effort into trying to understand. The English Language is extremely complex, but it is not impossible, disability or not.
I know of several other people with Aspergers, and they type, read, and write just fine. Whether it be because they throw a ton more effort into it, or because they studied the language enough that it doesn't take that much anymore, they still type clear enough.
Personally, Butler's attempt to communicate gives me a headache, and I want to slap them with a grammar book. I saw the begging/'I want you to lend this to me" as well, and it's a misunderstanding that could have completely avoided had they simply tried to make their message clearer. Their 'skipping' over posts that were clearly quoting them means they were ignoring what people were saying to them to continue their begging spree.
I would ignore his PMs don't waste your time replying to his msgs

Man, I wish I can tip posts in here. xP
I agree with Okami that Aspergers should not be an excuse, though it makes me want to be a little more lenient with him. In one of the PMs I sent him, I did explain that he needs to take responsibility for not reading carefully.
I believe that everyone deserves a second chance, but not without proof that the person understands the rule(s) they've broken and has made an honest communication to the fact that it will never happen again.
I also do not believe a person's ability/inability to excel at written communication defines who they are. How do we know he hasn't worked twice as hard as us just so he can learn to use a keyboard?
Let's be honest... How many of us are like tl;dr to just about every long post? Or even if we do read them, we somehow miss certain key points? We're always going to make mistakes. That's human naaatuuuure peeeps.
It's definitely no excuse that he skips over what people wrote, which is why I think he needed to be warned, and then banned, only after a repeat offense. I mean, we could set a good example/message here: Forgiveness comes when you correct wrongs.
So yes, I would like to see him get a second chance. But someone needs to have a chat with him first (which I would be happy to do), and if we believe he's completely understood where he went wrong and that he is not to do it again (and letting him know that any additional offenses will result in an perma ban).
