The glow from the dawn sun was creeping its way over the horizon, casting light among those who still slept. It was moments like these that T'suyo C'ruei enjoyed the most. The peace and the beauty of watching the sun rise on what he hoped would be a beautiful day. Light started to reflect off the water, making it sparkle as the sun continued to rise. As he looked he could see the flowers, still closed from their night's slumber, start to slowly open. A bird chirped nearby and he smiled.

Spreading his wings, he took to the sky so that he may watch everything start to awaken. The breeze smelled sweet as he flew, picking up the smells of the flowers that were still awakening. A great hawk flew by above him and his smile grew even more. How could anyone not enjoy the beauty of nature? If only others would just stop, and wait, they would be rewarded with all these treasures.

Finally he slowly made his way back down to the ground by the water's edge and proceeded to take a sip of the cool water. The sun was now fully up and the lake looked spectacular in the full light. T'suyo continued to stand there and soak in all of the beauty that this spring day had to offer.

Neena watched as her little bird companion zipped back and forth around her as she walked, and then ducked as Trill buzzed low over her head, swishing a wing in a half-hearted manner, pretending to swat at her little friend.

'Watch it.' Neena said, as Trill swooped around her again. The bird flicked her tongue out from the end of her beak and then buzzed off, looking for food. Neena shook her head; she knew that Trill was only trying to cheer her up, but as she was craving company of her own kind again, it wasn't really working.

She clipped onwards, huffing at the little strands of hair from her mane that danced across her face as she wandered. Her meandering path eventually took her to a relatively open area, and she looked across the body of water that was before her. She headed to the bank of the lake, not noticing the stallion standing there and stared down into the water, before dipping a hoof in the relatively still water, watching the concentric circles form and then spread out.

Ears twitched around as he heard the faint sounds of hooves approaching the lake. He sighed, feeling frustrated that someone would dare be up this early and ruin the beauty the morning brought. The hooves stopped their walking, and T'suyo glanced around to see if he could find the source of who owned the hooves. At first he didn't notice anything, but upon a second look he spied a mare nearby.

The mare had four wings, which intrigued T'suyo. He had never met an Angeni before, but had heard of what they were. Perhaps this one likes the beauty nature held. He wouldn't know unless he started a conversation with her. Yet, he was unsure of how to even start a conversation. What would he say to her?

He opened up his mouth, but the words stuck in his throat. Sighing, he shook his head, and instead dipped his own hoof in the water to create more rings that would go outward in the other direction and hoped maybe she would notice that she wasn't alone.

Neena had finally noticed the stallion before his water rings spread far enough to touch the ones she had made. She had caught sight of his movement out the corner of her eye and she turned her head, looking directly at the stallion, her gaze steady but not challenging.

He was interesting looking from what she could see, a striking set of wings, but his demeanour didn't seem too inviting and she wasn't sure whether to introduce herself or just to take a drink and then slip away again.

She gave a little nod with a half smile at him for now and then took a quick drink before straightening and shaking out her mane.
