If this wasn’t a disaster, then Tag didn’t know what one was.

A small wrinkle was emerging in the corner of his eye. He thirty-two years old and his beauty was already fading. He nearly scoffed at the idea – he had been far too arrogant to ever acknowledge that as a possibility ********,” he groaned, staring at the damned little thing in the mirror as he poured himself another glass of scotch, shooting it back in an instant and refilling again.

When did life get so dull and monotonous? He hadn’t gotten laid in like, three weeks, a real dry spell, and now he was getting these wrinkles? And sure, he was getting almost everything he wanted in his career. He was rapidly rising in the ranks at Channel 6 News as a now-credited executive producer of the program, was regularly filling in for anchor duties, and still was their star reporter. His “Destiny City: A City Under Threat” special was still airing at least once a month, but the buzz that it had once brought him had long faded, and he couldn’t help but wonder if his life had already peaked.

Chelsea and Mike (he hated that guy) had been happily married for a while now, and his son Liam was practically out of Tag’s life at this point, only getting a monthly weekend stay. The kid was growing up fast, already four years old, and Mike probably seemed like more of the father figure at this point anyways. He took pride, at least, in that he was still “dad” and Mike was still just “Mike.”

Ugh. He hated that guy. Mike.

Another glass of scotch downed in a flash and another refill.

On the Negaverse side of things, his projects have been kept to very low key things – it was the name of the game for his position in the Negaverse, carefully monitoring news stories and twisting them in just the right way, but it had all become too easy. He needed another project. He needed to make his comeback.

Yes, thanksto him, it was now known to the public – regardless of what the skeptics say – that the Senshi were a threat and there were Negaverse agents as a hero, but that had become old news. He needed to put a new message out, a stronger message that truly shows the wondrous might of the Negaverse. A new project for him to regain what he was missing.

He sat down with his glass of scotch and a pad of paper and began to jot down notes, preparing his plans for the future. It was time to take action and seize control over his life again.

He was Tag ******** Swagger, and Tag ******** Swagger does not peak at age thirty-two. Tag ******** Swagger does not get wrinkles.

Tag ******** Swagger makes a comeback.
