Prisca still resided in the forest watched over by the dragon. Or, rather, dragons, as Gildenfire seemed to have taken in some refugee dragons. A group of siblings, she had heard. Though she had yet to meet one face to face. Not that she was too beat up about it. One dragon was enough for it. And on top of it, the strange stallion she had met just a while ago. He was worth all the dragons in the forest. Something drew her to him. Most of the dragons in the area didn't seem as fierce as they looked, but he did. Something in her memory told her he was. With him occupying her mind, she had no patience for dragons. Like her mind knew something she didn't, which it probably would. With him around, her attention could go nowhere else. Why that was she still couldn't figure out. Would she ever?

The white mare stood in the forest, darkness settling in, unable to sleep. The meeting still left a lingering mark on her, her eyes glazing over in the grasps of heavy daydreams. She thought about the meeting and about the different outcomes. She tried to picture what would have happened if he had killed her, but the notion was quickly banished. Something kept him from making her a meal, something she was afraid to name in her uncertainty of the past.

Still, the memory of him, his scent. It all filled her with a kind of strange sadness to be away. She would go as far as to say she had been happy while in his presence. To have someone to tease who would tease back. Dragons just weren't fun that way.

User ImageArch had heard of a nearby forest filled with vicious dragons, and another nearby one often caused trouble, having to chase the fire wyrm away all the time. The creature was so odd, retreating as quickly as it came or instigating fights then leaving laughing. That one dragon was so odd. The Dragons in the forest however were silent, never came out and those who went in never seemed to come back and recently a strange shadow seemed to lurk toward the edges of the forest.

One stallion came back with news of a captive maiden covered in roses. Arch set out to fee this maiden with a group of knights unfortunately; at the same time that strange fire wyrm had shown up in another part of Llyn Dinas and the King had to dispatch knights to deal with him, leaving Arch alone to rescue the maiden.

Arch reached the edge of the wood and set foot into the unknown territory for the first time, he felt very nervous. Though as a king he was not allowed to show it or any emotion so say his mother. A good leader father said remained calm at all times. He did his best to be so, the fact the dragons were much larger and more fierce did not help any. Certainly he would fight till the end if he happened upon the creatures, and make both herd and family proud.

The stallion couldn't help though but be in awe at the beauty of this forest as he passed through. Weren't dragons fierce and destructive creatures how could they not have destroyed the beauty of this wood long ago... It made this place so much more eerie it was too beautiful.

Prisca still stood in the same spot as the sounds of someone else drew closer. Her bright body that glowed in the darkness was hidden behind a tree, her back facing the trunk. She wouldn't have been noticed by who it was unless they came around it or she moved out. Since it was hoof beats, she had little intentions of moving. Three of the dragons had hooves. Two and the stranger had feet that more reassembled birds, sitting on the ends of long equine legs. In the quiet of the night, there was no scrapping of the gravel or padded footfalls that went along with such feet. The sounds were harder instead of soft. The lack of a tail on the ground meant little to her ears. The dragons were known to keep their tails up at times.

When a tail never descended, she began to get curious. Even her own tail was heavy to lift. She couldn't imagine lifting something full of muscle and bone when her tail full of hair was so heavy to her. Peeking around the trunk met her purple eyes with a strange sight. Not strange in general, but for the forest, yes. A Starborn stallion decked out in fancy gear. The many tassels on his outfit shimmered like tall grass every time the wind caught it. To her eyes, it was very pretty and made her think he was high in rank somewhere. Since it was only her and the dragons in this forest, she knew he came from somewhere else. Another herd, she guessed. No one in their right mind would wander alone in such a getup. The reins would get caught in branches and if you didn't get out quick enough, the predators would be on you quick enough.

What was he doing in here?

Moving around the tree, Prisca continued to spy on him, not eager to give herself away to him. He didn't spark anything in her memory. He could mean trouble.

The strangeness of this forest seemed to bother the young king as he paused to examine it further. This place seemed tended so tenderly. he began looking for signs of the dragons that lived in this wood the directions they went perhaps. he wasn't sure exactly what he'd been looking for. Some form of great destruction? destroyed trees or paths too small for a dragon to take that had been widened? Arch couldn't find anything like that, granted the dragons could also fly on their massive wings. But as arch looked at the canopy he could see no damage there either. This place was very strange. What kind of magical creatures lived here tending to the damage the dragons certainly had or could cause?

His feline tail swished silently back and forth in frustration. Perhaps his hope of rumors of dragons were a lie? How silly he'd look returning with nothing. He couldn't doubt those who brought the information though. What kind of king would that show then? He was certain though there was something in these woods hold a damsel.

What ever could it be?

Heightened feline hearing heard the brush shift, Movement! "Who's there?" he called looking around. Such a soft noise couldn't possibly be the dragon however he couldn't so easily let down his guard.
