I always go mooching in cow levels with my necromancer, but I have no idea how to summon the portal for it. I think it has something to do with Wirt's Leg or something...
Can someone fill me in?

Can someone fill me in? first you have to beat the difficulty your making the cows in. then transmute wirts leg and a tome of town portal in the cube. If the legs name is written in red it wont work. and once you kill cow king you cant make it anymore.

and if you made it and someone in your party kills the king then you cant make it also.

Psycho_Medic and if you made it and someone in your party kills the king then you cant make it also. Not if they've already killed him. Then you can still make.

you gotta beat the lvl of difficulty and then get the scroll in tristram i think...haven't played the game for awhile heh

Mitsuke Psycho_Medic and if you made it and someone in your party kills the king then you cant make it also. Not if they've already killed him. Then you can still make. or if you leave thier party b4 they kill it....

Does a socketed wirts leg make a diffrence?
Or full town Portal Book?
There are guys who use a perfect dimond ruby emerald combo to make their portal every time.

Lintor Does a socketed wirts leg make a diffrence? Or full town Portal Book? There are guys who use a perfect dimond ruby emerald combo to make their portal every time. I don't think it makes one bit of a difference, but please someone correct me if I am wrong. ^_^;

Is this true? Some guy on battle.net If you die in the cow portal and leave, your stuff wont appear in town when you log back on.

do you guys mean that if you kill the king in normal, you cant make the level in normal again or do you mean ever?
