I'm so into this character. I think I love to hate him. He was cast perfectly. He's obnoxious and rude. He's just an all around disturbing character and I love it!
i love the sister too. She's got some great qualities as well.

I agree both are wonderful characters, I feel bad for margo though, its one thing to be a d**k to your sister by threatening to feed her to pigs and not act on it but its another to get her "lady parts" removed, and make sure that she is left with a nasty scar.

Oh I know. She's that character that you just want to see rise above it all. I hope it's not the last we see of Margot - or Mason, but after last night... who knows what is to come in season three.

I loved the portrayal of Mason in the series, his tone of voice was just so perfectly fitting for his attitude.

wolfion I loved the portrayal of Mason in the series, his tone of voice was just so perfectly fitting for his attitude. I totally agree. The way he spoke, the way he moved, the way he looked. It all went together and screamed that something was definitely wrong with this guy.

Mason Verger needs to be kept at least a mile away from any minor or Hannibal-owned chairs.
No, but, I liked Mason only because he made HANNIBAL seem like the saner person, even to the viewers. The cannibal's more sane than the sick freak who drinks orphan tears.

I agree, and even hannibal was disgusted by his behaviour, but that's Hannibal.

I've read all the books and watched all the movies so a big thing in the TV show for me is how well can they portray these characters younger selves, mason was far beyond my expectations, you have to be a good actor to make someone hate a character as much as people hate mason

I hated the guy in the movie. I've hated him in the show even more. If anything, he got off EASY.

If I was will, and I saw this b*****d feeding his fast to my dogs, I would turn to Hannibal and say: If my dogs get sick, I am hurting you.

It was Hannibal's way of killing the last thing Will loved - like bedelia said.

I outta force fast food down YOUR throat!"

Michael Pitt's acting was amazing. Mason was a loathesome slimeball but Michael Pitt did an amazing job as him. I always found his scenes as Mason humourous and disturbing at the same time, especially the scene where he cuts up his face. Really good casting on this one.
