Lately my cousins has been comeing over. cherish is my first cousin, Josh is her husband, Talon and anthony are their kids. Anyways my mom told Cherish that I like yaoi. Now she keeps asking me to explain it and why I like it so much. i just sit there and don't say anything except for an ocasional mumble. sweatdrop It makes mee feel bad that I love it so much but can't explain why.
If there's any spelling errors I'm sorry. I'm getting better but my english still sucks.

Ask them why the sky is blue. If they can't answer that and/or explain why, tell them that's what it's like with you and yaoi, if they can answer it, then you have a problem.

holly cow yeah i have the same problem...i can't explain to my friends why i like yaoi so much. It's like i just sit there and say random things.

Ah, I guess it's hard for people to explain these things. I guess it's just a feeling you have...Like love...You can't exactly choose who you fall in love with, it just happens...Maybe, for some people, their reason for liking yaoi is simply that they cannot help it. 3nodding whee

i get that asked a lot but i just tell them straight out what it is and if they have a problem with it it's there problem not mine but i do have like an unwritten rule nothing like 18+ or anything bad comes to my school that way i don't get in as much trouble if the teacher finds it

Ask her to define normal for each and every person in the shop your in. If she can't do it, or puts it in her own words, kindly say she's wrong because each and every person thinks differently, and therefore their idea of normal is different.
Either that or just say, "This 'is' normal to me mum."

People ALWAYS ask me what yaoi is, or they ask me if the two people on the cover of my binder/notebook/folder/manga/DVD/etc. are, when enough people ask you, you grow immune. Although it gets frustrating... I think I yelled at some senior in my High School that is was "guy on guy anime action and if anybody else bloody well asks I will bloody well shove it down there throats" and walked away...

Because that's the vibe I'm getting here. I heart teh buttsecks between hot guys. heart heart heart That wasn't at all hard for me to say online, but God knows it wouldn't be so easy if I told my mom. It still wouldn't be hard, but definitely not as easy.

To my friends (if they ever look at the yaoi lover button on my wristband and ask) I just straight out tell'em what it is (boy on boy buttsecks) and why? Well....I usually say watch Gravitation first and to get back to me. XD It's just so fooking cute! But if that doesn't work, I'll say something somewhat cheezy (but true) sounding like, "I accept love in all forms . . . except for demon rape that's just nasty."
But to me, it's kinda like looking at a teddy bear and calling it ugly..........unless you don't like teddy bears in which case.....sh*t. XP
