History: Before Tsurī had taken up the role of Head captain he was the captain of the fifth division who at that time were in charge of going to the human world to stand guard as the division in charge of sentry duty due to an strange increase of hollows around that time and the fifth division was the only one available to take on this duty as all the other squads were occupied with their individual duties, during this time Tsurī displayed a different attitude one of a Laid back youth who had no regard for the rules deeming them unnecessary however this would change one day. On one particular visit to the human world Tsurī came across a Plus who had yet to pass over to the soul society, this plus was a young woman named Miryoku Hana (Charm Flower) who at their first meeting was sitting in a garden looking at the flowers upon seeing her for the first time Tsurī fell deeply in love with her,
when he first talked with her he introduced himself as a shinigami and expressed his intent to preform Konso on her to send her to the soul society however to his surprise she asked him if he could hold off as she wanted to watch the flowers bloom one final time before she left, though he knew this was against the rules Tsurī being the person he is decided to allow this.
during her wait for the flowers Miryoku often found she was joined by Tsurī who would often speak to her saying he was guarding her from potential dangers and soon she felt feelings for him as well and confessed to which Tsurī admitted to falling in love with her at first sight and soon they fell in love
spending most of their time waiting for the flowers to bloom until one day tragedy struck and a hollow had killed Miryoku while Tsurī was the hollowing eating her soul, Tsurī was soon filled in by the second generation captain of squad seven who had been in charge of human world surveillance and had shared Tsurī secret, learning of her death had crushed him he soon harden into the captain he is today becoming obsessed with the rules which he had not followed trying to make sure the same events did not transpire ever again.
