"How does it feel to know you will be a grandmother soon?" she asked, laughing softly.
Rupture cracked a smile and gave a soft huff before replying, "How does it feel to know you will have great-great-grandchildren soon?"
Tastes Like Summer chuckled and shook her head, eyes still on the dancing Merry Wanderer who had recruited some songbirds into the performance. "What was it we talked about when I blessed the clutch that our dear Merry Wanderer came from? Young love?"
"Young love," Rupture echoed with a soft smile. "Young love indeed."
Tastes Like Summer didn't have a chance to respond since Merry Wanderer wrapped up his performance to bound over to his mother and great grandmother. "What did you think?"
Then, ever chipper, "Hi mom!"
"It was lovely, dear," Rupture said warmly, though she would always be more restrained than her son.

"It depends on how you ask," she responded, mock serious.
"Okay, well, dearest great-grandmother, would you please bless my children if it so pleases you?" He said in his most serious, most high-brow voice.
She could only laugh, but she finally managed, "And what do you wish for your children?"
"I don't know, to be happy, to be merry, to feel free enough to wander?" He said immediately, though he was obviously unsure. "What did you ask for, mom?"
"I didn't ask for anything necessarily," Rupture said slowly, "I was just nervous about being a mother."
"I'm not really nervous, I guess, but then again, I think the children will be raised by the MotherFather," he said, a small frown appearing on his face.
"Don't worry too much. As I say to many, the MotherFather provides," Starburst said. She considered her blessing carefully before saying, "May your children be free if they desire freedom, and find anchors should they want them. Let them be happy in both these situations and in any situation they may find themselves in during the journey of life."
"Thank you" He smiled, though he still seemed unsure.
The three of them walked off together to return to the grove, but they continued to speak on parenthood and what it might mean for him.
