Little mouse feet padded across the forest floor looking for small nuts and fruit that had fallen from the trees. The gold and crimson mouse had to be careful at night as many creatures hunted at night and she didn't have the protection of a Soquili. She dreamed of meeting one of the large creatures some day but so far she didn't have much luck.
Desert Rose or 'mango' as the bat referred her as, didn't hear the sound of silent wings coming down upon her, but as soon as little feet hit her back she squeaked in surprise and spun around. The little mouse didn't know what had just happened and she was ready to run if need be.
Calming at seeing a bat she giggled slightly. "Hello..." She said softly a paw held in the air as she thought about moving closer to the bat. She had never really seen one before, but he was roughly her size only with wings. She wasn't aware that this bat thought she was a bit of fruit or that he had just tried to eat her.
