The young man was reading, this wasn't an unusual thing to see as it was Chandra's hobby to be sitting ..or walking with his nose tucked into a book. He adored reading, and Awen his sprite though she couldn't read the language would pretend she could, even going to far to point out words and chirping as if wanting to know what it said. Normally this would annoy him, but Awen was ...special. She never bothered him, always kept him company. And perhaps a bit perversely he felt dominate over her, he could protect her and thus he felt like it was his responsibility to tend to her. Right this moment he sat on a low branch, leg draping over one side swinging lightly as he read. He couldn't help it. If he was reading he had to be moving, even in a sitting position. He was going through the books Takoda lent to him quickly, and soon he was going to run out. Though he had perhaps absorbed as much as any one person could on the study of healing that wasn't his goal. He just liked to read. Reading...knowledge...it held power he had seen it during the war. Healing could bring people back from the brink of death. Mages could do an array of interesting spells that they had gleaned from books. Either way he enjoyed it, though what he was going to do once the availability ran dry..was anyone's guess. He supposed he could...ask the people in the villages if there were any he could read. Or their grandmother might have something. Though he cringed at the idea of going over...his many uncles and aunts would bother him...and some of them were more annoying than his brother.

Aysun was currently sitting at the top branches of one of the trees, his sprite Flower on one shoulder, a baby kinfa his uncle found for him not long ago on the other. He looked over to the when he heard a clinking sound, that of another of his many pets, "Hm? Down below, eh?" He asked, glancing downward, knowing full well who was down there. So it would seem the little bookworm was right where he wanted him! Giving a grin he carefully took the baby kinfa from his shoulder, resting it on the back of the maglardilla, "Wait here with Kapila, alright Sunshine?" He told the little bird before he started down the tree in a slow, sneaky manner.
Making his way down to where his twin was sitting, reading his books. He would never understand what it was that he saw in those books of his but no matter, he was safely away from any danger, it was just how he liked Chandra to be. He would get a million of those books for him if he thought that it would keep him reading forever instead of going anywhere dangerous. Oba, the Alkidike, any other possible threats, he would let them near Chandra, he wouldn't let anyone make his brother cry again. Once he made it to the branch just above his twin he sat down on it, and allowed himself to fall backwards, hanging upside down from the branch, starring into his eyes, "Boo!"
Reaching a hand out he pat his brother on the head before giving him a smile, "So! I see you are being boring again, huh bro?" He teased him, not wanting him to know that he much preferred him being in this state, it was easier to keep tabs on him when he spent most of his times with his head buried in a book.

He should of noticed him coming, the slight creak here and rustle of leaves but so absorbed was he in this particular chapter that when his brother shouted boo he did actually jump. Almost dropping the book in hand though managing a last minute save. Glaring at his brother he couldn't help but pout and push his brothers hand away from his head. "I am not sure why you bother with such childish pranks.." He huffed trying to collect himself and not look quite as startled as he felt. Awen amidst all this had fallen off Chandra's shoulder and as now shouting profanities to Flower as if lecturing him to be a better companion to Aysun. Perhaps if he was he wouldn't do such things. Settling on Chandra's shoulder it looked at if both were mimicking each others sour faces. "And it isn't boring....if you read perhaps you wouldn't be so stupid." Chandra countered as he snapped the book closed as if his anger would be focus just about anywhere.

Aysun hung there for a moment, seeming to actually be thinking about the question before he finally said, "I will stop playing around the moment you aren't so easily startled. I swear I could leave, make a lap around the tree, then jump out at you again and you'd probably jump all over." He told his twin before he gave a little grin. He loved his brother, of course, but that didn't mean that he didn't worry about him a bit. He was too oblivious to his surroundings, to easy to sneak up on, and far to easily startled. He really dd need to have someone there to look after him, something that Aysun meant to do. In exchange for course he felt that it was his right to jump out at and scare his brother from time to time. It was just the fun of having a brother he felt.
When his brother set to making a face at him, telling him that reading wasn't boring, that if he read he wouldn't be so stupid. Lifting a hand up he rested it against his heart, "You wound me, Chandra! So mean!" He said before he swung himself forward, giving his twin a quick kiss on the forehead before he grinned, "You should be nice and friendly like me, not a sourpuss like... well, you and your little friend there seem to be at the moment."
Turning to look over at Flower he said, "Can you believe the two of them? So grumpy all the time, eh?" The little Sprite gave a little chirp in reply, sticking his tongue out at the grouchy Awen before flying over to perch on her still upside down companion.

The annoying thing was that his brother was probably correct. Though he wouldn't be jumping out of fear so much as being startled, he also wouldn't be quite so dense to go back to reading now that his brother was around. Which was really annoying as he felt that he was getting really close to the end of the chapter.
"Well if someone came out of no where when you were busy with something you'd jump too." Chandra snapped looking irritated and moving to bring both legs over the edge of the branch, as if he was getting ready to jump down and move off to somewhere more private. His book still in tow.
Awen chirpped and fluttered after Flower as if trying to chase him off and away from Chandra. She was a jealous sort and didn't like to share her human male companion. It wasn't far to the forest floor and thus he allowed his body to drop feet touching down on the soft earth under neath. He stumbeled slightly but sighed and shook his head.
"Why arn't you ...I dunno..not bothering me and go train your...pets..."

His brother really was in a mood, wasn't he? Just look at that look on his face... as though he should get that upset over having to take a break from reading. Pft, as if that were any fun at all. How could someone have fun sitting still, starring at the same point all day like some sort of derpy Spitorog? He wasn't going to let his brother become as glassy eyed as one of them even if he had to hide all those books!
"I would probably be pretty startled if it was you that tried it since you never do anything fun like trying to startle me, you're too much of a stick in the mud to even try." He said, flipping himself right side up when it seemed that his brother was attempting to retreat. He lowered himself down to squat on the branch that his brother just abandoned, watching his twin a moment, then gave a laugh, "Why am I not training my pets? Is that jealousy I detect, Chandra? Still thinking that they are going to steal me away from you?" He asked, grinning from ear to ear now. His brother had confessed such a thing to him when they were little and despite Aysun's continued assurances that he loved Chandra best it would appear his twin was still jealous.
Hopping down out of the tree he landed easily on his feet before lunging forward so that he could tackle his twin, trying to drag him down to the ground. Maybe if he pinned him down, held him in place, and reassured him a few hundred more times Chandra would finally get it through that thick skull of his? For a smart person he was really, really dumb most of the time he thought to himself with a little huff.

Giving a snort he didn't respond finding that his brother caused his brain to hurt far too many times. He started to walk away his book in tow Awen landing lightly on his shoulder only to half turn and stick her tongue out at Asyun and Flower. The light crunch as his feet moved along the forest floor was somewhat comforting. Of course as soon as his brother spoke up about him being jealous he halted or rather jerked to a stop.
"Oh give me a break. We were kids when i said that...will you never let that go?" The young hybrid demanded as his face turned a light shade of pink from embarrassment, though as soon as those words had left his mouth his brother had come at him full tackle.
Giving a small shout of alarm he fell, the weight of his brother pressing him into the dirt. "Get off!" He shouted, his sprite fleeing his shoulder as to not be crushed. Though she tried to come to her companions rescue by pulling on Aysun's hair. Trying to push his brother the book he had been holding had been flung some distance away, now laying abandoned with the pages opened to the elements. "I said GET OFF!"

Aysun grinned as he looked down at his brother as he held him down, grinning in delight, and said, "Nope, never gonna let it go. It was so cute the way you were clinging to me and crying, making it seem as though I might leave you for my pets. You were so cute when you were little Chandra, what happened?" He teased, before he looked up at Awen who was yanking on his hair, seemingly displeased with the fact that he was playing rough with Chandra. He looked up and gave a whistle, calling for Flower to come in to deal with the other Sprite.
The bright pink colored Sprite flew over to catch hold of Awen, chirping at her, doing his best to get her to release her hold on Aysun's hair. With her taken care of Aysun turned his attention back to his twin who was yelling at him to get off of him. It was cute the way that he was flailing about and trying to push on him, as if some book worm would be able to stop him he thought to himself with a bit of a grin, "Awww, you are too cute, Chandra. Maybe if you ask nicely I will let you up!" He chirped, not that he actually wanted to do so. He would much rather stay right where he was, sitting on his brother, keeping him from escaping.
He glanced in the direction of the fallen book, then back again, "You won't be able to get that back you know, not if I call in my animal army to steal it." He said this while wiggling his fingers in a 'menacing' manner before giving a bit of a laugh, "Come on, Chandra, smile for meeeee?"

Awen was not pleased at being taken away from her owner's rescue, in fact she was down right irritated. Chirping and pounding her tiny fists against Flower's body in an attempts to get him to let go of her. And when Chandra's book was threatened she was even more determined to not anything happen to it! Dislodging herself from Flower she flew to guard the book, true this...probably wasn't the best idea as the entourage of pets Asyun had contained creatures that would be more than happy to eat a sprite...
Chandra on the other hand had gone really still as his brother threatened the book. It was one thing for his brother to constantly tease him but to actually consider getting his ...annoying animals to steal it?? It was time for his secret weapon going quiet. Chandra had a habit of not reacting to anything when he was furious. Just glaring at his opponent until they backed down. Though in this case he would turn his head and refuse to look at him. Why did his brother have to be so annoying??

Aysun tilted his head to one side, starring down at his brother, before he gave a little sigh, "No dice, huh? Here I thought that you would see reason and smile for me... but I guess that means I need to call in the most dangerous member of my entourage! Something to monstrous and terrifying that warriors from all around flee before him!" He said, his tone quite dramatic, as if he actually had something like that. Sadly, he didn't. No big, scary monsters for him but regardless he did give a whistle, calling the others down from the tree they were perching in. While he didn't have an altogether terrifying beast he had one that, regardless, nobody could defeat.
When they appeared the big, pick Scorra walked over to him, leaning over to peck affectionately at Aysun's hair as the prentice took Sunshine off his back, "Behold, Sunshine! The most dangers of my animal army!" He said as he plopped the baby Kingfa down on his brother's chest before he burst into laughter, as though it were quite amusing to him... which, really it was. There was nobody in their right might that could be scared of such a tiny bird but the build up to the reveal was what was important!
As the bird sat on Chandra's chest she gave a little chirp, her tiny wings flapping, showing that she was anything but intimidating. She really wasn't all that dangerous, save perhaps for being too cute for her own good.

Rolling his eyes he looked away from his brother, it was embarrassing to be over powered in this sense. Even as twins Aysun was just..better built, with more muscle. This of course could be due to the fact Chandra sat around and read all day long so it would be understandable that he didn't have the physical prowress like his brother. His eyes widened as he heard the snapping of twigs under the feet of his scorra, what if it decided to rip his book apart?
No...it just nuzzeled Aysun affectionately before something fluffy was removed from its back. A small..fluffy kifna by the name of 'sunshine'. Oh lord...it was ...THAT sort of secret weapon. It was hard to stay angry with such an adorable little thing sitting on his chest. But his brother was too still sitting on him, pinning him to the ground and thus he was able to rip his gaze away from the kifna to glare at his brother.
"What are you going to get all your pets to sit on me?"

Aysun sat up a bit, head tilting to one side, "Mmm, well... I suppose I could try. Pembe here, Sunshine, and Flower would probably be all for helping me pin you but you know how Kapila can be, she will follow me about but she never learned any tricks. Probably since she came to me when she was a lot older." Kapila was, at heart, a wild creature so she wouldn't be coming out of the tree to sit on Chandra any time soon, "I could always have Pembe sit on your legs if you want! That way it's assured that you will never escape from my clutches!" He couldn't help but to laugh a bit, seeming to be having fun at least.
"I might be talked into letting you up though, so long as you don't run off instantly like you tend to do. Surely we can go and have some fun, right? That has got to be more fun then sitting around all day. We can climb up to the sky! Oh! Or branch jumping! Man that is way too much fun if a little scary at times." He grinned as he gave Sunshine a pat on the head.
"It's either that or I will have to sic Sunshine on you and surely you wouldn't want to go through that? It will scar you for life! The cute, it's overwhelming, brother!" He held his straight for as long as he could before he started to laugh.

A heavy sigh escaped his lips, back to this was it? His brother always wanted to do stupid things like run around like they had when they were kids be reckless and just waste time. Couldn't he see that he was doing more important things?
With a free hand he ran it over his face as if trying to ease some major headache he may be developing. "You know I don't want to do any of those things. I can promise I won't run away...I guess I can do something with you if you can find something I want to do." He managed with a huff trying to avoid looking at the cute little kifna with all his might.
Once his brother started to laugh he tried to push himself up and get his brother to fall off of him.

Aysun gave a bit of a nod, "I am well aware that you don't do those sorts of things. It's a little hard to run around when you have your face buried in a book. I have a feeling that you'd fall out of a tree if you tried it." He sounded quite disappointed as he looked down at his grumpy looking brother, starring at him for a long moment, before he said, "You know... I could very well turn your earlier complaints around, Channy. You were so upset that my pets were gonna steal me away but it really seems like your books are trying to do the same thing, tryng to steal you from me."
Giving a little grumble he rolled off of his brother, laying on his back next to him, before he reached a hand out to pat the baby kinfa on her head, drawing a happy chirp from her, "We are both relatively smart, surely we can figure out something to do that both of us would enjoy, right?" He asked, glancing over at his brother in a curious manner. Two heads were better then one or so he'd heard people say before in the past. Surely since it was a saying it had to be true, right? Maybe...? He hoped so, he wanted to do something with his brother so long as it didn't involve sitting around too much. As it was just laying here made him feel as though he were wasting time that could be better spent doing... well, most anything else.
"So... I'm bored, what do we want to do?" He asked of his brother, turning to look over at him, giving him a grin. Anything was better then laying about, "If you can figure something out I will call off Sunshine here."

As his brother rolled off of him the first thing that came to mind was to get up grab his book and run. But he did promise he WOULDN'T do that and thus he ended up sitting up and then leaning back with one arm. How had they managed to grow so apart? Perhaps it was due to the fact his brother kept treating him as if he was weak. The kinfa had tumbled into his lap when he had sat up and finally he gave in and patted the bird on the head.
He didn't hate his brothers animals, he just had too many of them.
Shaking his head he mused a bit on how his brother could get so bored. So often.
"Well I know a story...of two brothers. Who had a very similar problem to ours. Both brothers like doing very different things and as they grew up they grew apart. But they had one thing that they had in common, they both loved the ocean. " Chandra trailed off before giving his brother a side long glance, "now..the ocean is too far for us, but we could find a river."
