He swore once he found Kennet he would tackle him down for leaving him alone at training today. Sure, their father was a missing person, and had been since the end of the war, but that didn't mean that his baby brother could just waltz off on his own to look for him! Besides, he had missed yet another day of training, and people were growing suspicious of his loyalty. Samoset knew that his father would be very disappointed if he were to hear their doubts, and he couldn't have anything mar his brother's good name. After all, he was Kennet's twin, and if one twin was branded, the other was certain to be given the same tattoo to bear.
"Kennet, where the hell are you?" He cried from his perch in a tree. He'd been searching for hours without a single sign of his brother. He couldn't have gotten too far, unless he hopped from branch to branch like dad did... The hybrid sighed and wiggled out of the tree, resigning into a seated position soon after. Well... He'd come back eventually... Kennet wouldn't leave him worried for long, at least he hoped.

Soon the females of her family were going on a trip, and she couldn't be more excited. Sure she was sad that she was going without her father, but it was an adventure and she was happy to spend some more time with her sister and her mother. Plus from what her mother said her grandfather also used magic, and there would be plenty of people in Zena who could give her pointers. Although she loved learning magic from her father and grandfather, she did really want to learn from other people also. The more people she learned from the more diverse her knowledge would be.
Plus her father had been promising her that they could have dinner with Yaholo and his twins for some time now, and she thought this would be the perfect time. She trusted her father to relay the message though, for at that moment she was looking for a good spot to practice her magic. She didn't want to go to Zena knowing nothing. "Come on Loxy." she said looking back at her mammu.

a pet dino Fair warniiing, Sam's going to look at her like the stars have shined. XD Samoset huffed out a long puff of air and pressed himself further against the tree, his frustration only building up the longer he sat still. He wished Kennet would just pop out of one of the trees and come home already! That way, they could go home, train, and get back before dinner. However, in the back of his mind, he knew that it would be at least two more hours before Kennet came wandering home, it was just the way he was. And it really, really, pissed him off.
Just when he was about to jump up into the trees again, a bright white figure entered his field of vision, along with a familiar fluffy Mammu that he recalled from when he was younger. ...Who was that beautiful girl? Everything about her was so... Pretty... He lingered upon her as she moved, his thoughts going back to a girl he had met when he was younger. Wasn't that Ikuri? He and Kennet had played with her before and during the war! ...The Gods had certainly been good to her, it seemed. He took a breath, hesitated, and made his way over to her.
"Hey! Ikuri!" He greeted, grinning. "I haven't seen you in a while! How are you?"

The two of them walked for a little, Ikuri never taking her hand from Loxy's side. She always felt better when the mammu was around her, and more magical. It was silly to think that Loxy boosted her magic, but it was something silly she was willing to believe in at that moment.
She was just about to decide that they were in the right spot when all of a sudden there was someone coming her way. At first she wasn't sure who it was, and she was almost scared, but than she recognized the hair and skin color. The hair that she had copied her own style hair from.
"Samoset it has been a while!" She hadn't seen him without his twin brother before, she wondered Kennet was somewhere close by. "I've been good, just practicing my magic. How about yourself?" He was so much... Taller than she had remembered, than again they were much younger back than.

"I've been doing well!" He replied, grinning. Oooh, she was so pretty! How come he hadn't noticed it before? Had he been blind when he was a kid? Because... WHOA. She rivaled any Alkidike that Aisha ever created, that's for sure! He found himself lingering upon her hair a moment, his gaze becoming more thoughtful, and had to force himself out of his daze.
"Oh, magic? You want to be a healer?" He asked, arching an eyebrow. "I hope they have a weapon to match your eyes, Ikuri. It would be a shame to not have something to compliment them."

She laughed. "Somoset, you're looking at me like you've never seen me before." she said with a laugh as she teased the boy.
When he asked if she wanted to be a healer. "No, funny enough it's my sister that wants to be a healer. I plan on becoming a sorcerer." she said with a nod. His next words caused her to blush, a pale pink that covered her whole face.
She was stunned. What did she say next... "Is that so, perhaps a weapon for you to use?" oh why couldn't Ikkio be here? She was much better at this kind of stuff.

Oh, a Sorcerer? He had absolutely no idea what that was, not that he would admit it. Maybe it was some sort of fancy Healer that wore better clothes? He hoped so.
"Ah, I seeee..." He said, chuckling. "I wish you luck."
He blushed at her response to his compliment and couldn't help but laugh.
"Oh, no no, I couldn't use an earthling weapon!" He shook his head frantically. "It would be an insult to Aisha and to my whole tribe. But, maybe, I could color my arrows the color of your eyes? That way, a little bit of you would be a part of my day?"
