Walpurgis entered the stadium with a very visibly excited rattata atop his shoulder. The newly-promoted director stroked the underside of his pokemon's chin before pointing to the concrete field in front of him. "Let's go, Gangrel!"
The rattata jumped off the man's shoulder and ran onto the field.

Xander walked in and gave Walpurgis a respectful nod. He then called Semadar out of his pokeball and the Golbat flew around him a few times, just as excited as the Rattata. "Alright Sem, lets do this."

Walpurgis immediately called out an attack. "Use Ice Beam!"
The rattata's eyes faded to a light blue color, and he fired a beam of ice with pinpoint precision at the goldbat.

Xander winced when the attack hit Semadar with a crit. "Sem, used Poison Fang!" He called out.
The Golbat shivered from the cold then flew at the Rattata with his mouth open and dripping poison.

Gangrel was badly poisoned as the golbat sank its fangs into him. He struggled to get free, but found he could not. Without waiting for an order from Walpurgis, the rattata stopped squirming as an unnatural wind kicked up, followed shortly by snow.

Semadar let go of the rat pokemon when the temperature started to drop and squeaked in alarm. He flailed a bit in the air, unsure how to make the cold stop then swung his wings in a deliberate way to throw slices of air pressure at his opponent.

The poisoned burned Gangrel, but he showed little signs of being in pain, even as the wind cut into him. As if in a trance, Gangrel stood up on his hind legs as the blizzard raged around him.

(One day I will remember the damage totals, one day XD)
Semadar squeaked more and tried to get some distance between him and the rat pokemon to see if that would help the cold. When it didn't help, he sent more slices of air pressure.

Walpurgis saw the golbat tiring, and he called out a new command. "Use Swift, Gangrel!"
The rattata snapped out of the trance and winced as the worst of the poison hit him, in conjunction with the cutting wind. A star formed in front of him as his eyes shifted back to red and he jumped on it before it rocketed off into Semadar.

Xander quickly called Semadar back when the bat started to fall from the air in a faint. He nodded again to Walpurgis then left to heal Sem.

Gangrel directed the star to Walpurgis before jumping off and onto his shoulder. With a smile, the rocket turned and left to get his rattata healed.
