Dhati was confused, he had found so many dogs for Haiji, but he would ask them to follow him, especially Temari. He liked Temari alot, she had seemed like a nice wild dog, a pretty one to. Then Mataka was pretty and somehow she was carrying his pups, he was still confused to how that worked but indeed he had accepted that he was going to be a father like his own. He would tell his pups the story of the lost pack. As his thoughts crossed his heritage he sighed, it was a shame the pack wouldn't ever exist now. The blood line ended with him and his sister, yeah his pups had it in them but only a small amount, it was one day not going to be existant.
His body was laid on the grass, laid out looking around. He knew Mataka was around somewhere and he did worry about his fat friend. She was getting fatter and from what he had picked up that meant that pups weren't too far off. His thoughts then led to the pups, what would they look like? How many would there be? He smiled a little, one day he would take them home to his mother and family. They could see how he found a beautiful femme and had beautiful pups. These thoughts were nice.
He raised his head suddenly and then stood up, he had heard something, "Mataka?" He spoke quietly and looked around wondering where she was, or who it could have been. If Haiji had come and got him to try adn get him to go back, well tough.

The females usually slim body had been obscured by a rounded stomach. It was unusually big for how far along she was. She had herself guessed this was due to the sheer number of the pups. The thought of labour scared her slightly, though the was enjoying the thought of parenting, even with a rather confused Dhati by her side.
At the thought of the unusually-coloured male, she felt her stomach twist, whimpering at first. "Was it the pups?" She thought. Though any scared thoughts were dismissed instantly as she remembered what Kucha had said. "Love?" She thought, shaking her head. "Dhati is my friend!" Mataka said this out loud, her blue eyes darting around as she fell back to reality.
As if summoned, her gaze fell on a figure in the distance. Creeping foward, she raised a brow as she recognised the creature. She would have bounded foward if it was not for her extra weight. Instead she shuffled foward, almost falling over. "Dhati!?"

Dhati's ears pricked up and a smile crossed his maw as he saw his female friend. He trotted over to her to save her from going to him, he wanted her to rest though he knew they also needed ot find Temari.
As he reached the femme he nuzzled her happily, "How are you and the pups?" He asked, tilting his head slightly. He then went on to tell her, well, ask her if she would follow him as it had not really passed his mind when she told him about the pups!
"Mataka, I am leaving the pack... I will tell you why later because, well I dont really feel like explaining it now. I wish for you to come with me though, with the pups, be a family maybe?" He was worried she would refuse and wish to stay with Haiji but something in him hoped and thought that she would instead wish to stay with him.

A smile crossed her own maw, eyes appearing to be glazed over. She returned his nuzzle sweetly. Speaking somewhat squeakily, she answered his questions with her usual enthusiasm. "I'm fine, as are the pups, thanks.." She took a moment to glance to her round stomach.
Her eyes widened at the news, but she couldn't help but feel a little relieved. She was beginning to feel a little excluded, as she didn't know Haiji that well, or any of the other dogs. This meant Dhati waas free to wonder, to find a place of his own.
Matakas expression softened at his words, the prospect gleaming before her. Go with Dhati... Yes she would! She determined, a grin forming on her maw. "No need to explain!" She tried to bounce a little, though found it hard, so it resulted in a lazy shuffle.
"I'll gladly come with you!" Her expression was estatic. A family. the pups. She frowned slightly... She had other lives to consider now. Would this be the best for the pups? Closing her eyes for a few seconds, she realised the pups would do well to grow up in a family, unlike she had. After a few moments of contemplation, all she could do was nod happily.

Dhati smiled, "You would come?" His eyes lit up happily. He had been worried she would stay but oh this is good news! "Oh Mataka, you will have to meet Temari at some point, she will travel with us if that is ok? She was going to join Haiji's pack but like you, she dont really know Haiji so, she might come with us to if we can find her. Then the pups will have others around them for safety!" He smiled, his deep brown eyes looking into her blue ones. He had never seen them as sparkly and beautiful as they were now.

"Of course!" She said, moving towards him to give him another affectionate nuzzle. All the while she felt a peculiar dizzy feeling. "Temari?" She asked. The name didn't ring any bells, though any friend of Dhati was a friend of hers, she supposed.
"More protection for the pups.." She said slowly, with a content expression. She would finally give others, her pups the life she had always wanted.
"Yeah, It'd be nice to meet her, and to travel with her too!" Bearing her ivory teeth in a truthful and wide grin, she found her gaze lingering in his brown eyes, with a sudden drowning sensation.

Dhati just smiled and looked at her. She is a lovely friend, beautiful, adorable... hey wait. He suddenly blinked a few times as he realised what he was thinking, she was only a friend but yet, he was thinking about her differently and when they had been playing, before all the things with Haiji, that feeling when he had been on her, was that what caused the pups? It must have been. Things were slowly clicking in his mind and Mataka was written all over it, all over everything, all over his future, all he could see was her and those blue eyes sparkling at him.

Mataka questioned herself yet again. Was he just a friend? She knew this feeling was trying to tell her something, and it wasn't just her pregnancy, because she'd felt it before.
The pups stirred slightly in her stomach, as if they were trying to tell her something, or awaken her senses. Looking to her male friend, she could honestly say he was more than just that. She cared about him deeply, and he seemed to be the one she wanted to share her pups, her future, with...
Even if it had been an accident, she couldn't help but feel happy that this had pulled the two of them closer together. This happy-go-lucky dog had to realise that she was in love.
She was close to admitting it to herself, but she feared she would admit it to him, and embarass him. She doubted he felt the same, he was just confused..

Dhati just stared at her more, here eyes were drawing him to her and they really were. She just looked beautiful. His father had something about this before, love he called it, but Mataka was his friend. Is it possible to love your friend?
"Ma...M...M....Mataka...erm..." He couldn't finish his sentence. He just sat down and looked at the ground a little stupid before he decided what to ask her. "Will you be Alpha of our new pack?" He gulped, he couldn't ask her to be his mate in any other way, he just didn't know how to say it.

Her eyes were still lost, lost in his perfect brown eyes, the colour was enchanting. She wanted to keep looking into them, but fear of looking stupid turned her gaze away, eyes falling to the ground in an embarassed fashion.
As he stuttered her name, she felt her heart flutter lightly, frowing however. Why was he speaking like that? He normally said her name fine. His eyes fell to the floor as hers had. As he said the one sentance she'd been longing to hear, her eyes lit up. "Dhati, Of course I will!" She moved foward, quickly, considering her pregnancy, and licked him on the cheek. Words could not explain how she felt, though she did feel as if her chest were about to explode.

If he knew that her chest was about to explode he would probably be worrying instead of what he was doing. His maw had found its way to nuzzling Mataka's neck, licking at her maw. He did like her alot and his father was still in him, his words, his blood and his life. Dhati could feel his father, he would have been proud of him right now. Dhati had a mate, a beautiful mate, pups on the way and everything was perfect.

((Sorry to break up this little... whatchamanot. XD))
A loner. Probably a skitish and nervous wreck. Best described as a silver misty dog with eyes like the sapphire jewels. That's all she was. Nothing more, nothing less. And even lower was her confidence level, as well as her trust-o-meter. She didn't trust anyone but herself, and she wasn't even sure she was trust worthy! Nevertheless she had to start somewhere, and she vaguely remembered walking this way before. Her recent wanderings had bumped into various new people whom she would've much liked to avoid at all costs. No luck there. Despite this, her feet padded ever-so-lightly across the plains on which she walked. Her tail was ducked between her legs in a depressive fashion and her ears were perked. As usual, her cloud colored maw was ducked low as if she was whimpering and ashamed of some crime or another.
Yakuti's eyes were glazed over as she was unaware of the realities around her and it was only moments before she came into their view that she stopped. She was lost, and she knew it. No use trying to avoid it any longer... the poor femme decided that if she spun in a circle and went the direction she ended up pointing, she'd have to go somewhere. Well, that was bad idea number one... she ended up toppling over and rolling right into plain view of the other two. In fact, not only did she roll right into plain view, but she stopped right next to them. She got her bearings in a moment's notice and skittered backwards toppling over again. She whimpered, not knowing what to say or how to go about running... she was too tangled to even try.

Dhati raised his head from Mataka and looked at the femme who had suddenly appeared. His happiness was bubbling inside of him but he tilted his head slightly and looked at the female. "Hey you ok?" He tilted his head a little more, his brown eyes looking over the female.

From a ridge, Jamaa sat looking over to the pack of Wild Dogs. A light sade of brown fur covered his body and dozens of a darker shade blotched all over. However he did have a white tipped tail and his gold eyes stood out nicely. It was unusal for him, he has never seen more than one canine other than Temari and Yutaki.
"Temari..." he said to himself. On closer inspection, he notice that one of the canines looked really familiar. He twisted his face to get a better look. He struggled. Suddenly came to him, ears perked and grinned face. That canine was Yutaki. Jamaa's tail wagged and he raced over to them.

Yakuti trembled. Her paws and entire frame was shaking and her head was still low as she tried to untangle her limbs and back away. Of course she wasn't okay! But they didn't need to be concerned with that, and now... what's worse... is she smelled someone else coming. She found herself easily untangled and jumped up to back away. She didn't make eye contact as her light voice resonated, "N-no... s-sorry...."
She seemed to be saying that she was sorry, more so then answering Dhati's question. Her tail was even further between her legs in a sad sympathy and her ears drooped uncharacteristically. She was not proud of herself for being so cowardly, but she really disliked being this way and being around others.
