So I totally borrowed the idea from another guild I'm a member of but since it works so well there I'd thought I'd have one here too. Every day there's going to be something on our minds or some random bit of our lives that we might want to share with the rest of the guild. While the main forum is for chatting, having fun, and plot stuff, six threads about the pizza you had or the Lit test you have to study for will just clog things up. If it's minor life updates then this is the place to post them. The more serious stuff can be placed its own thread.
You're free to use this thread for any of the following examples and then some:
✖ Movies/TV shows you're watching.
✖ Class stuff you need to work on or study for.
✖ That cool new game or item of clothing you just got.
✖ Wacky or frustrating minor issues with family or friends.
✖ Minor non bashing Gaia frustrations. IE: Layering problems, item prices jumping right as you get the gold you need, limited items selling out right as you get the cash to buy it, etc.
✖ Geeking out over your favorite band, game, or TV series as long as it won't cause a fight.
✖ Informing everyone you posted up something in a subforum because we might not check them every day.
✖ Pointing people to a thread you have going on that doesn't need its own thread for getting posts and participation.
✖ The day to day foibles that you run into and any other little update going on with your life.
So remember, this thread isn't here for bashing Gaia staff, Gaia members, guild members, or anything a guild member might like. This thread is here for posting up the random little things going on with you each day. Lighthearted ribbing of each other is perfectly fine.

There is a little ladybug in my room. I can't kill it and it is too small to catch and let outside.
It is sitting on the window....
And now it is crawling to the floor.
I can't see it anymore. It is under my bed.
Oh! Now its scurrying across the floor! Go little guy! Go!
No! That is my bra! Don't hide in there, little ladybug!
Oh! It left my room. I'm gonna follow it.
I fashioned walls and led it through a maze to the backyard. That was an adventure.

I bought both seasons of Pushing Daisies for myself a couple of days ago. When I mentioned this to my friend, he went, "No! That was going to be your birthday present!" Nothing I could do, since it had already shipped, but oops? It's about a month until my birthday--what's the cutoff time for buying yourself stuff before your birthday/Christmas?

Usually the rule of thumb for me is if it goes on a list I don't buy it until after the event in question because I might get it. That's why I always tell people for birthdays I'm good with gift cards to places where I can get clothing and iTunes and for Christmas I throw together a list and restrain myself to buying anything on that list until after the holiday.

I have no clue. I do not have people that do that stuff for me. I tell my parents one thing I need, like this year it was shoes, and hope they decide to get it. I did not get anything till a couple days ago. My birthday was the 11th of April.

I say that because you could go to buy something and they're looking to buy the exact same thing for you. xp

Chibi Halo Sometimes you have friends that know you way too well and while that's a good thing there are times like birthdays and holidays where it can be a bit frustrating. I say that because you could go to buy something and they're looking to buy the exact same thing for you. xp
I think that's exactly what happened here! I'm definitely going to hold off on buying anything else before my birthday--I don't want a repeat!
