Name: Daniella (Danny) Dean Fitzgerald
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Facial expression: Happy, almost dopey, but in a cute way.
Hair: Bright orange, sideswept style. reference reference 2
Eye color: bright orange red. They look like there's a fire within them.
Skin color: Deeper tan, see references above.
Outfit: Custom? I think?
I'd like the entire outfit, but I'd like her shirt to be tied up like this. She likes letting her skin breathe!
Personality:
- OPTIMISM: Danny's greatest trait is her hopeful outlook at every point in time. She can find the good in anything, and is always willing to give bleak opportunities a chance. Danny's always got a smile for anyone who needs one. Really, to put it simply, Danny is just a happy person.
- FRIENDLY: Danny is incredibly friendly and always ready to make new friends. Sometimes she can be too much of a socialite, to the point where it comes across as annoying. But like any adorable puppy, she'll probably come back regardless of how much you try to shoo her away.
- DUMB: There's just no two ways around it. Danny is denser than a log made of steel. You'll probably have to explain things to her a few times, and it takes her a long time to figure out even the simplest problems. It's probably the reason she's so optimistic and friendly; she's so dumb she can't even tell when things are in a bad place. What she lacks in intelligence she makes up in heart.
- OVEREAGER: Danny doesn't just have one foot out the door, she has her whole body and it's already half way down the street. She's way too easily excited, and she runs into situations before even thinking twice about it. Consequences are inconsequential; she lacks foresight completely and tends to forget the reason she even walked out the door.
- DETERMINED: And yet, Danny never gives up until her goals are accomplished. Maybe it will be a convoluted path and maybe it wasn't the goal she original set out to accomplished, but it will get done goddammit. Danny doesn't like to see things unfinished, and will always try her best to do what's asked of her.
- CREATIVE: Well ... sort of. Danny isn't very smart, but a lot of time what comes out of her mouth is thinking outside of the box. Honestly a good comparison is Sasha (from the series). Her tactics and plans are unusual, even spastic sometimes, but they do have a flair of creativity to them. Sometimes it works in her favor, and other times it gets her sent to the doghouse.
- ATHLETIC: In terms of a hobby, yes Danny does do a lot of athletic things such as running and exercising. But athleticism is moreso something ingrained in her personality. Danny has a hard time sitting still ANYWHERE for long. Movement is the way Danny thinks; she's not good at bookwork because she has to sit in one spot. But give her a dance to learn and she'll pick it up in a few steps.
History:
Danny hails from the Trost district, tucked away near the Wall Rose. She is the daughter of two reasonably rich parents. They're not nobles, mind you, but their family has been in the mercantile trade for quite some time, so they are incredibly wealthy. They're merchants of spices, but not literally selling the spices. They're more the corporate middleman; they control quite a few of the routes which spices travel, as well as the taxes placed on spices. It's all done in shadowy backrooms, so not much is known about it. Danny's father is kindly, somewhat stout. He's sort of dumpy, very average looking, but he has a quiet charm about him. Danny's mother is flamboyant, outspoken, and always ready to spend her money. She's an airhead and is incredibly ignorant to the idea that titans might ever really take out humanity.
Danny's eldest brother, Oersted, joined the ranks of the military police, being the number 4 in his class. It is expected that he will retire early and take over the family's business. When Danny becomes of age to join the militia, it is expected that she would show similar prowess. However, her family holds very little faith in her. They sweep her under the rug and out of sight, never expecting much out of her because they have the might Oersted already. She is completely eclipsed in Oersted's shadow. Weirdly enough, Danny has never considered her family as neglectful; she has never known a different family, so she considers the way they show love to be the same as any other family.
Danny isn't like her brother. Although she is athletically fit and good with battle reflexes, she doesn't have the brain or skills to stand out. What she lacks in intelligence she definitely makes up with heart. Whether or not she will make a good warrior can only be left to fate!
She chooses to join the military because she really has no other options. She doesn't have the mentality to run her family's business; she chose to play in the mud while Oersted played with numbers. She doesn't have any real remarkable skills, being somewhat below average at most things, except when athletics is concerned. She's obedient, but determined, and somewhat of a spitfire. In other words, the military was the perfect, and maybe only place for her. She doesn't necessarily want to join, but then, Danny doesn't really want to do anything except play.
In terms of division, Danny would probably be best suited for the scouting legion. If she truly pushed herself she could probably make it into the military police on pure tenacity, but even if she did she would grow bored and anxious very quickly. The wall garrison seems fun, but Danny lives for adrenaline highs and excitement. Still, Danny has no real OPINION on where she wants to go. She will decide that during her training.
