Okay, so she knew that it wasn't going to be as easy as she thought. However, now that she had some experience she hoped that it would be easier. Before she thought the creatures weak when they were young, much like Belle or maybe a little stronger. However the one that she caught in the net before was stronger than she could have even imagined. It made her realize why the creatures were so popular as mounts, and it made her realize that she needed a stronger net. The old one was chewed through in seconds by the creature, and even got her skin. The bite wound was healed now, but she had gotten a better net to make sure that it wouldn't happen again. The man who gave her the one she had before had given her this one free of charge since the other one didn't work. He assured her that she wouldn't have the same problem with this one. She sure hoped so, she didn't really want any new wounds to clean up. People asked questions when you came out of the forest harmed, even when it was as small as the one she had. With the war going on to many people were on the edge of their seat. Telling them she was bit by a small animal wasn't something she enjoyed talking about.
So armed with a net that was supposedly fool proof Zuri set off once more to catch herself a radaku. If she was lucky she would spot the same two she had before. They were both young enough, and she wasn't sure if there would be any others around the same as as them around the same area. The more she thought about it the more that she realized that they had to be siblings, twins even. Just like her two girls. In a way it made her that much more determined to catch them, to catch another pair of twins. Sure she wouldn't be greedy, she would be happy with one, but if she caught both of them that wouldn't be horrible either. Maybe Ikkio or Ikuri would want the other one? Or she could always sell it to one of the many beast tamers. They weren't lacking in money, but it would always be nice to have a little extra cash. And if it was easy for her to catch one, than why not.
As she walked through the forest she realized that she wasn't as lucky this time. She was walking for a rather long time when she almost gave up. She was about to climb up a tree and get some fruits so she didn't go home completely empty when she heard them, or at least she hoped it was them. From what she could hear there were two adolescent radaku fighting. She smiled at her luck and crept through the forest. Soon she was close to them and went to throw the net. It was a good throw, and she was sure that if the net held she would be able to catch it this time.
Just like the time before the bigger of the two ran off, escaping the net. Zuri moved towards the netted radaku but right away knew something was wrong. It wasn't fighting her like it did the time before and when she looked at it she frowned. She thought the two of them were just play fighting, but it seemed as if they were really fighting, and from the looks of it the one she caught in her net was the loser of the fight. She sighed and picked up the net, putting it back in her bag. At least the net had held this time, so it wasn't her fault. The creature wasn't dead but it was close to it. Quickly Zuri put the the creature out of it's misery and sat back against one of the trees. She thought about bringing it back to the camp, but decided to let the animals keep their spoils. Standing up she headed back, it would take longer than the last time since she was so far in but she didn't mind. It would give her time to think about the twin creatures, and the fact that one of them killed the other...
