Backstage, Marshall Lee was seen speaking to a female crew member. Surprisingly, Dallas wasn't with him, but judging by the charming smile on Marshall's handsome face and the giggling female, it was apparent Marshall didn't really want or need his sister's company at the moment. While the woman hugged her clipboard to her chest like a flirtatious school girl, Marshall himself was leaned against the wall while he spoke to her. "Girl, look at you being a busy little bee," his tone was friendly as to not come off like a typical creep. "If it weren't for you, I bet this show crumble."
Flattery always did the trick. When she giggled and blushed, he chuckled along with her. "You're lookin' really cute with your little headset and your little clipboard too." The girl bashfully thanked him, it was obvious she was falling for his charm. Putting her clipboard down, she went to lean over to pick up a box with all sorts of equipment in it. Judging by the way her body stiffened a little, it seemed the box was rather heavy.
Being the gentleman he is, Marshall gently shoo'd her hands away, "Don't worry, baby, I got this for you." He would then lean over, and lift the box with ease. Thanks to him being in his ring attire, his impressive and toned physique was put on display for the girl. Still holding the box, with his biceps flexed, he tossed her a wink and a smile before setting the box up where she had pointed. She was flustered by then. Marshall was too caught up with this lovely lass to even notice anyone else around him, which would prove to be very unfortunate within the next couple of moments.
[Planned, do not interrupt]

During the time Marhsall was flirting Captain Hayes has been stalking him backstage waiting for a moment where he would drop his guard and when he did Captain Hayes would rush out towards Marshall with bottle in hand and attempt to smash it over the back of Marshall's head to get a sneak attack in.

He was about to say something else to the girl, but when he noticed that she had gotten a very blank, confused look on her face, he cocked his head to the side as he looked at her. "You okay, doll?" She wasn't looking at him, Marshall noticed. She was looking at something behind him. Just as he reached out to give her a concerned touch on the shoulder, he felt something smash against the back of his skull. As he crashed down to the floor with his hands on his cranium, he heard his lady friend let out a shrill scream.

After the loud crash of the glass bottle breaking over Marshall's head Captain Hayes dropped what was left in the bottle and walked over to the area he was waiting and grabbed a black bag with a big smile on his face. Once he has the bag he would walk back to Marshall, open the bag up, and dump all the cloves of garlic in the bag all over the fanged freak while laughing waiting to see the reaction.

Marshall clutched at his head, removing his hand briefly to see if he had any blood on his palm...which he did. This guy really had a thing for smashing bottles over Marshall's head. Anymore glass shattering on him, he was going to develop a bald spot there the damn thing kept hitting him. And that would be like death to him. As he worked on picking himself up from the ground, he felt something being dump on him. Small little lumps of...no way.
Marshall sniffed and immediately regretted doing so. Instantly, his nostrils began to burn. Not only that, his skin felt as if it were being set on fire. It was garlic! Anyone who was anyone knew that vampires were extremely allergic to garlic. Marshall thrashed around on the ground, trying to rub at his burning eyes. His skin was even beginning to redden where the garlic had made contact. As he did this, he let out a very loud yell of pain.

After emptying the bag Captain Hayes tossed it aside and squatted down next to Marshall looking at the effects of the Garlic while laughing. "Don't worry matey there will be plenty more at Spring in the Ring." Captain Hayes then started laughing while getting up and casually walking away from Marshall.

Marshall continued to wither around on the ground, feeling his skin, eyes, mouth, nose, everything burn like hell. He tried to look up at Hayes as he squatted down by him but his watery eyes made everything look blurry and fuzzy. All he managed to hear through his own curses was "plenty more" and "Spring in the Ring". If the pirate had managed to do this to him, he was rather worried on what else this vile bilge rat had in store for him.
As his assailant left, Marshall grunted as he wiped his eyes with the back of his hands. He felt other hands on him, medics and other officials that had come to his aid. But they weren't Marshall's priority. He lifted himself up onto his arms and looked around with red eyes. He was looking for someone, for the girl he was talking to earlier. Not seeing her around, he groaned and fell back onto the ground to allow the medics to assist him. Lowly, he could be heard muttering, "I never got her number..."
