Blood colour: It's Indigo, but it's more purpleish.

I looked, it seemed open, it's the Symbol of the Ox O uOa.
Personality:
- Oxford has a very laid back personality - one tha would probably nag more hyperactive and excitable trolls. It's not that he doesn't get excited himself, he's just the kind of troll who would rather sit back and read some old and decrepit book about something that hasn't been around for centuries, than go around pissing off other people.
His greatest weakness is older things, he loves history, and will do anything to win over items from other trolls, even if it means using pitiful means. Trying to win them over, trading, sometimes he'll even go as far as trying to guilt them in to giving it to him. One thing he will not use, is his position in the hemospectrum.
He's likely to not judge others on where they stand, just as long as they don't try to encroach on his home, or threaten Ox-Dad. Or steal his s**t. That's it really.
Oxford can be incredibly sensitive about his missing limb - it's a issue that he can't get over - he realizes that he will never be someone who is physically able to do any kind of battling, but that's where the history-stuff comes in. Although he is aware that there is the potential to replace the missing limb - the potential issues that could come up with it, (potential damage while he's out escavating, the need to replace it as he grows, the artificial feeling and the fact that he will never lose the 'ghost limb' feeling,) he has decided to forgo the option - he's used to being without it more than anything. If he changes his mind in the future, it'll come then, for now, he just wants to become some kind of treasure-hunting, excavating kind of troll. If you don't know where you came from, how will you ever know what not to do in the future.
Even though he has been raised by a land-based lusus as a land-dwelling higher-caste, he still has a tendency of enjoying the water - it could be considered almost a hobby - swimming and the like. He is a rather good swimmer, and is willingly to take to the water whenever he has a little personal time.
Pertaining to the history;
He's not a monarchist, but he is incredibly enthralled in the greater history of their race - and any other race that they may have destroy-- obliterat-- come across. Information and items that would be construed as rare, lost or history-rich would probably give him a reason to pine over.
Besides, he finds historically rich things to be more interesting that new things - the design and beauty of it all makes him happy.
He wants to learn, and maybe in the future become someone to go to if one needed information on the past, like a historian, or a curator of information. He lives by the motto that you learn from your ancestors, from what has happened before. Ultimately, he would love to build something to house the history of their race, or maybe at best, a convincing timeline of whatever everyone knew.
Strengths:
- ✔ Even-tempered: He doesn't get angry very often - he'll have his moments of emotional outbursts at times, when the situation requires more emotional effort than usual, but he's known to be incredibly laid back and just accepting of s**t. What is he going to do? He's just one troll with one arm.
✔ Adventurous: He has a very wild imagination, and with that, comes an insatiable desire to traverse the world(s). Given a good reason and the promise that he could (possibly) survive, Oxford is known to traverse where-ever he can, for the sake of information gathering. Ox-dad is always a little worried about his escapades, (he had assumed that the little troll would have just grown out of that during grum-dom), he won't try to stop Oxford - that just makes him want to try harder to get away.
✔ Adaptability: He has no other choice but to be adaptable - he has been raised to adapt to his surroundings. He's the kind that if he lost his house today, he could rebuild it, or find a new place, and as long as he has his father and the basic necessities, he can survive until he's gotten shelter again.
Flaws:
- ✗ Blunt: A bit of a downfall for his even-tempered personality is that he's also a bit blunt - he'll tell s**t how it is, and sometimes doesn't recognize that he's being a bit of a t**t. He's not trying to be mean-spirited or hurtful, it's just how he is. He doesn't really see in multi-colour (unless it's about new special old stuff,) but if pointed out, he'll try very hard to fix it.
✗ Disability - Limbs: He's missing an arm. (He's adapted, of course, but it's still a downfall, he's missing an arm.)
✗ Reckless: If given the chance to do something completely reckless for the chance of something fantastic and priceless/ageless, Oxford would do it. He sees no issue in jumping in to the thick of it for monetary value, or even personal growth. He figures he's already done some stupid s**t to himself, what else could possibly go wrong?

Weapon:
- OXFORD HAS A PISTOL ISN'T THAT STUPID?
I could change it if it's too different, but he's always had a six-shooter pistol that he can only really load once in a moment of fear - he's kind of a somewhat pacifist, if you don't give him a reason to fight, he really isn't going to. It's mainly for self-defense in a grave situation!
Standard going pistol really, he spins the chamber with his hip.
Ox-Dad thinks he'll shoot himself in the foot one day 8(.
Appearance:
- I've done a ton of art of him, you're welcome to work around it. Initially he was of the age that his eye colour had changed towards his blood-type as Trolls do, but I understand that hivestuck starts a childhood u Dub.
I'd like him to be debilitated from the start, so only one art from there - he's a fan of layering also, usually wears a striped long sleeved shirt over top of a t-shirt and the like.
I'd love to see him keep the purple streak in his hair also, because IDK, it just feels like something that was a concrete stone in his original character design haha Q uQa.
His horns are pretty simple, they're just backwards facing horns~.
Also he's dumb-sighted, so glasses /o/!
Home:

Lusus:
- Ox-Dad: An admittedly peculiar father-lusus for a indigo/purple blood, Ox-Dad may not be able to fully submerse himself in water like his son can, but it doesn't mean that he won't try to assist and watch over Oxford. He's very stubborn, loyal and level headed - or that's what he thinks. Oxford thinks that at times, overbearing, and hardheaded can be added - as there are times with Ox-Dad will not allow him to do things mainly because they are stupid and reckless, but he does it because he cares.
He is the size of an regular ox really, nothing incredible about him. He's very hearty and difficult to damage, being a huge ox.
