Please do not PM or IM offers without asking first-- I get so many Pm's due to my work here and gaia has a habit of eating them. I am INCREDIBLY Slow with RP (Running a shop as big as soq keeps one busy and thus can only really act when Muse AND time allows me to) so if you require rp for it, please understand that it will not be a quick thing unless I manage to get inspired by my characters muse. Please don't assume I'm going to immediately buy with credits -- I have a long list of breedings and I either carefully select or allow the artist to pick. However you're allowed to enter into breeding raffles in a first come first serve basis! I do more than just breeding/partner rp, so if you see me Rping elsewhere don't think I forgot about our breeding, I'm just following with my muse and working on maxing my stats (or just needed to use the character for something)! Born to Mecho Amachi and Melody Forte Farruca has lived a life of her and her brother being spoiled with her parents attention compared to her older siblings who had grown in a somewhat broken family, especially since their arrival was shortly after their elder brother Cabriole ended up being 'adopted' into the Flock. Because of this, she can sometimes come out as a bit spoiled.
Sassy and upbeat, Farruca can be a bit of a firecracker at times, and soft and slow in others. Like the rest of her family, she's fond of bells, music, and dance, and is proving to have a talent for dancing while reared, and dancing while stamping her hooves in a very small spot below her and spinning around. She is obsessed and driven by Dance, learning various styles.

About:Neomonni was born to a loving, if unusual family. However the poor girl grew up with a curious itch over her body, always itching and stinging, and something about her made people’s eyes ache and water and their skin itch as well, regardless of how clean she kept herself and how little she smelled, from the vapors that leaked from the growths on her spine. Her skin cracked and chipped away in areas like her fathers often would as she played.
At times as she grew she seemed more irritable than usual, snapping at her siblings, parents, her creepy uncle with the obsession of burial practices, or her friends. As she continued to grow it became obvious that something was wrong when she had her first real case of Mania, mild as it was. She could barely sleep and at times giggled and spoke in her own made up language.
It only got worse as she grew up, her fits of mania terrifying as she saw and heard things others couldn't as she hallucinated, lasting longer periods of time. Her depressive crashes were devastating, making her isolate herself from others within herself. In both states she was prone to wander from the safety of her loving, if a little unstable mentally, family.
Her good periods, however, bring a sort of calm relief to her, and she lives a normal life during this time, though she bears the mental, emotional, and physical scars of what she can remember from her episodes.
Extras: ~Name means "rain cloud" ~Her clouds can cause a horrible itching, burning sensation, usually mild but to the point of nausea in those who are sensitive to it. No one knows quite what it is made out of but.

Seeking: When she's lucid she wants someone understanding, patient, and kind... However during some of her episodes she can get abrasive and cruel, or goes out in a rather promiscuous fashion. Its near impossible for her to keep a relationship long, and she's easily taken advantage of by those with cruel intent. Limitations: If its for looks only I'd prefer edits and colors that go well with her (Mutations NOT required for looks only), but for rp/plot there's no real preference
About: The cataclysm in the old lands (In that western Elbow in the mountains, there are a series of valleys where the temple is and the harpy territory used to be) started with an earthstrike (earthquake) That caused landslides due to loose rocks and heavy rains that had softened the earth, allowing for Mudslides to develop with the trembling of the earth. The two sisters were in different areas when the earthquake happened, and both got separated from the flock by unstable ground, most of the people around them killed or severely injured.
While they tried to find their way back to the lands, more earthquakes happened, and eventually there was a natural pocket of gas that killed off most of the ground level members of the flock (And thus most of the males) and chased them to the temple area, which was in a more secluded spot and hadn't been touched as bad. However there was too much death, too many fires sparked in the gas, members dieing in flames, that they eventually headed off.
Izulai got back first, and discovered a land that was ravaged, filled with the dead and burned or rotting corpses that weren't able to be rescued, even the temple, their most sacred of places, abandoned with no sign of what had happened, a few mares or stallions having found their way back only to die with no one to care for their injuries, so it seemed like even there the death had reached the Flock. The Oracle had gone with the others to help find a new place to rest, even if for a moment, that was smiled on by the spirits.
Distraught, The dancer heads to the west, the trail cold enough and harpies stealthy enough that she could no longer tell what direction survivors went or even if there were survivors. Eventually she collapses, her own infected wounds getting to her, and awakens to find herself under the Care of Singeri, too sick to really fight the tending. While in her fever dreams, she dreams of the dead and then of their legends of the great mother starting the herd with just three, and how they used to have to just let males go. Realizing by herself she may be the last Harpy of the Flock, and could easily be hunted down by Hate Talons or other herds should she return fully to the old ways, she sets forth to restarting the flock in a way that'd prevent local herds from simply trying to wipe her out.
Thus the Phoenix Maiden Guild/Flock of Rebirth took its roots....
Phoenix Maiden Guild
After the cataclysm that separated her from the Flock and led her to believe that they had all been killed off, The petite dancer Izulai had moved to the Western Hotsprings to start a different sort of Flock of her own after being nursed back to health by a kindly, if quiet Knight who sired two children with which to start again.
There she founded the Phoenix Maiden's Guild: A herd where Mares come to learn medicine, arts, dance, song, battle, and seduction, and sometimes hiring themselves out to herds as body guards or entertainers. Their daughters are raised with care and kept a secret from their fathers, and boys are raised in the more public areas before being sent out into the world on their own.
Some members are wanderers who found a purpose there, some are members recruited from other herds to learn the skills that decided they preferred their new home, only sending their sons to their old herd when they were of age (1.5 years old), and some were members of the Flock that happened to wander to the west rather than east, Happy to have some of their sisters alive, understanding that things will never be the way they used to be in their own lifetime, if ever again.
Adult males are invited in, only allowed to visit certain areas for a few weeks to rest their bones and get treated to a life of luxury for a few weeks, before being requested to leave for at least Nine months before stopping for another visit.
Females are kept a secret from their father, and raised to become members of the guild, some being hired by other herds to act as body guards, entertainers, artisans and other things, Some staying home to Continue their schooling and to carefully select males to breed with while out in other herds OR stay home and choose to invite those who come to relax and have a little fun at the hot springs with the ladies of the guild for a slightly more intimate time.
Males are sent away from the Flock after a few weeks of 'fun' and are forbidden to return again for nine months. If they return and have any sons, they are given the option to take their son with them (Daughters are kept away from the fathers and 'do not exist' as far as he knows.). Should he choose to keep them, the way they are raised belongs to him.
However, should the father decide to let them care for the colt or simply never returns, the colt is trained for a year and a half to be a welcoming, open minded foal, then sent off to find their own territory, forbidden to return to the flock, or given to a passing herd to take care of..
Extras:
Izulai is not physically attracted to mares, but prefer them for non-sexual romantic relationships (Kissing, Cuddling, sleeping against one another, spending time together as a couple etc) . She's physically attracted to males, but finds them uninteresting as partners for romance. About:Stern and quick to prove her dominance to any upstart mare that may contest her authority with a quick backhanded strike of her claws, Bloodclaw is a mare with a driven duty and relishes in the suffering of their enemies and the pride of Northspring Might. Her loyalties lie only in three places: Their Queen, her job, and the Bloodslash arena, which she lovingly refers to as 'The Pit". And while she prefers her prey to be in one piece for a better spectacle should you be headed for The Pit, just because she tends to take you in live doesn't mean you arrive unharmed.... Born to a Northspring mare who had a tryst with a pureblooded Fire Ulun'suti, Bloodclaw was always combative, driven for the challenge, her blood burning hot and a need for control driving her to a job she could truly enjoy from a young age. She was obsessed with the fights in the Bloodslash arena, awed by the grand and fierce armor worn by the walkerwards. Her greatest pride was to be accepted into their rank, savoring each raid, each day at the arena, and each life she takes to the cheers and screeches of her spectating 'sisters'.

Female offspring are raised as members of Northspring. Males are either exiled or brought into the gladiator arena and raised for training and entertainment. Which one they go to and what happens after is up to the owner. Male Partner doesn't require capture and may not even be harmed -- if a stallion is willing and it'd be too much of a hassle to actively try and bring him in or would draw too much ire from much larger herds/groups (Such as with the Badieh Badawie or Stallions actively IN larger herds (excluding Flock -- they're already enemies so they don't care if they piss them off.) she simply wont bother with dragging him in and wasting resources or endangering her herd.

About: Pizzly actively hunts sleeping soquili and children that are not her own (easy prey) and instead puts her own baskets with other soquili's baskets so the 'changelings' have an easy meal of the mother, father, and 'siblings' or are at least not predated on before they're ready to leave the baskets. The mare is incredibly vain, and horribly sadistic, often drawing out kills with an almost single minded determination, the only thing capable of distracting her from her ‘sessions’ is if her prey manages to get her to monolog. She keeps trophies of every single one of her victims, keeping them collected in her winter den, creating morbid decorations and having ‘fond’ memories of their pain and how exactly they died… Or , if they managed to escape, the wicked plans she has for them.

Experiments with various forms of preservation. While most of her trophies are bone, feathers, and hair, Some of her trophies are mummified using rock salt (harvested from part of her den-cave well outside of the parts she lives in), bogs, or shrinking them down by boiling them in herbal water. .

About: One of the few Kelpi members of the Gobiidae Sarab, Umaia is rarely seen by outsiders, or even most members of the Gobiidae Sarab herd, as she is only a part time member. A member of the Deepwater Cavern Kelpie, she spends most of her life in the caves under the desert in the gemglow and bioluminescant alge lined waterways and airfilled chambers. There is little she needs that she cannot get, but what little she does she trades for fish she farms or gemstones she mines, or in exchange for a little muscle-work, though the pescivore is only barely bigger than a large Usdia. She speaks very little of Soquili Common, frequently getting phrases wrong or mixing Common with her families language. She's a good soul, but can frequently come as stand offish or grumpy.
Kahfalmiah Aleamiqa or Deepwater Cavern Kelpie have big chests and lungs for holding breath for a long period of time but sort of diminished leg muscles -- they still use them in the water and on land, but they're not runners since in the caves they don't exactly have predators hunting them down, peg like teeth for catching fish (Though they have molars further back still for chewing river reeds and grasses and their roots since they lack clipper teeth during the rare visits to the surface world). They also have long slender necks and slim muzzles for poking into underwater crevasses getting fish out of hide-y holes, as well as large eyes of nocturnal predators -- while the caves are surprisingly full of light, its not the same as the light of the sun.
Should they visit the surface during the day, it is common to wear either sheer fabric over their eyes or wear glasses made out of gemstone or darkly colored glass disks, protecting their sensitive eyes from the glare of the sun. While Umaia lacks natural luminescence, the native Mers and Kelpi frequently have some form of it.

About:Born to Melody Forte and Mecho Amachi, Mezzo was one of six kids born to their mother, more prematurely than usual even for soquili. Having not collected enough baskets, their family having only had three and a spare, they were forced to put the young foals into the baskets, and Mezzo was placed in the same basket as his younger brother Opus before the enchantment could seal him in for the remaining months of their development.
However this potentially rocky start didn't put a damper on the young Mezzo's cheerful, upbeat, and quick mind. He was active, curious, and always on the move, and when he went off to earn his second bell during his second year he earned it by starting off with a single shiny stone and trading his way up until he returned home with a long spool of striped fabric tangled around his head and body, proving that, even though he had the advantage of a smaller size and an adorable lisp at the time, that he had the skills to become a trader like his father.
He took to the training with gusto, enjoying the fact it let him wander and explore the world and provide for his herd as he grew out of his lisp and became a handsome young stallion.
Mezzo is an energetic and charismatic young man, and a great trader, but has the habit of getting distracted by the 'fairer gender', getting used to the new feelings that came as he matured into adult hood.

At first appearances, when most soquili meet Bear, he seems to be a nice enough, if somewhat introverted fellow: He often times saves them from a rock slide, and brings them to the herd he's protector of, feeds them delicious food and teaches them skills. He never seems to take off his robes or wraps, claiming that he had a skin condition required him to be wrapped up and covered at all times, burns from when he was attacked by humans who mistook him for a purewalker. He'd rub his eyes and return their attentions to the food, saying it brought him joy to know they shared with him something he could not have while he ate cured meat or the occasional slab of raw liver so the best would go to his 'friends'.
However, as time goes on there seems to be something sinister behind the facade. Bear leaves regularly, leaving them plenty of food and letting them nibble at the weeds in the gardens or play with the various, somewhat sedentary games or professions he'd teach them, often times after snapping into a frightening rage before wandering off to cool down. Everyone seems to be growing fatter and sleepier with the inactive lifestyle. Sometimes wandering soquili find what seems to be traps set to trigger rockslides or triplines. And to top it all off, none of the soquili nor familiars there have been part of the herd for more than a year, and sometimes they'd simply... Vanish, never to be seen again. After a while a new bit of fresh meat arrives for the meat eaters to savor, but where exactly is this 'mutant 'getting them?
As fall approaches, Bear begins focusing on creating 'the feast', saying he had big plans for everyone.. While some seem excited for this celebrator feast, some of the more observant members of the herd cannot help but feel a frightening chill they cannot quite explain....

For Bear, the entire year when he wakes in spring from his winter slumber, he spends his time preparing for the next winter nap. However, unlike most purewalkers, even other bearwalkers, he's discovered an easier way to fatten up for the winter: Save some saps, often from his own traps, and have the smaller familiars farm and teach them skills that they can teach the soquili and larger familiars, and watch as they feed, fatten and create luxuries and food that can be used the next year to tempt in fresh livestock for his larder.
Crocodile tears, a poor, soppy story of his 'hideousness' and fabricated abuse in his past, and they eat it up and follow him blindly, lambs to the slaughter.
In the fall he taints the grand feast, knocking his prey out, and he drags them off to his pens, where others who had discovered his identity had been kept until they were fat enough to serve, and begins the slaughter, feasting, and curing of their meat, allowing him to store excess so he doesn't have to hunt too much in the spring. Stocking his stores and setting aside any baskets early enough in term to work as a starter stock for his next years 'crop', he settles in for hibernation and the cycle starts again, a meal well enjoyed, seasoned with the flavor of the heartbroken betrayal of his victims.

Named Himself Wears Nag Champa Perfume and rinses his mouth out with rose water in order to hide his distinct skinwalker scent. The leather bag was soaked in sandlwood oils.Because of this he smells mostly of Sandlewood and Plumeria, his walker smell only coming off as a faint musk and difficult to pick up his actual breed.

About:Singeri is a mystery wrapped in an enigma: A middle aged knight without a kingdom to serve, living in an old, abandoned fur trappers hut half built into a boulder, living a simple, modest life of meditation under a small grotto waterfall. And, while he's not necessarily a hermit, being welcoming and jovial, he doesn't usually speak, preferring to use facial and body language or wordless noises to get his point across whenever possible. What little he does say verbally, is said with a soft, strong tone. Expressive eyes spark with intelligence, and a soft smile usually rests on his lips.
While he has yet to confide in anyone why he has come to the Kawani lands, he has come to take on an apprentice as he rehabilitated an injured and humbled Chantesuta into a true knight (and a likeable person), getting along by doing the occasional bit of honest work or investigating rumors.
Extras:
Removing the mushrooms that seem to grow naturally from his back stings slightly as it takes off a layer of skin and some hair, if not simply trimmed off. They can be used as an ingredient in a healing dried herbal mix, often added to hot water (heated by piling sticks, placing a found metal blade, and dropping flint onto it repeatedly to start a fire) for a tea or mixed with vegetables to make a soup, depending on what the injured/sick needs most. Untreated by drying then cooking in hot liquids, it is just healthy. It has a nutty flavor, and looses its glow when dried. Singeri doesn't usually actually USE the mushrooms on his back since it squicks people out, however -- he grows them on logs around his hut, having transferred them there. Most people thinks he gets the mushrooms from being there, rather then the other way around. He overheats easily in strong sunlight, getting headaches and dehydrating quickly. Because of this, he need's to bundle himself in loose, creamy colored cloths when he is required to venture into the desert or even the plains.

That is... Before he met Kaliska.
She was just a foal, well into her second year, when he struck, believing she was a Kalona set on befouling his lord Tulgey's land. While the girl, swifter then she looked and spry, managed to escape with only a few bruises and use her small size to shimmy into a shield of roots of a fallen tree against a boulder, she had cornered herself and he was trying to roll the tree away to trap her and strike down the 'villian'.
It was by sheer luck that the girl was not only under Tulgey's protection, but he was close enough to hear her cries for help and lucid enough that day to care, the larger stallion tackling the 'red knight' and scolding him for his actions, and sending him off on a fateful journey in search of his missing child.
Shaken, the dusty brown stallion traveled down the river, not realizing the journey was supposed to be a sort of banishment. He needed to restore his honor, but was too vain to realize the true error of his ways.
And, in his shaking off and putting Kalona into a category of 'not evil' rather then fully grasping that many could be and often were, it didn't take long for him to be tricked by one of wicked ways and cannibalistic tenancies to nearly crush him underfoot, teeth suffocating his airway as he was pinned like a gazelle in the mouth of a hungry lioness.
When He came to, he found himself alive, injuries tended to as he was dragged along carefully on a travois by an aged stallion, marked with glowing fungi and shards of glowing crystals from his body. He spends most of his time, whether it be hunting or sleeping, in his owl form and only is in the habit of using his soquili form when he needs to fight. He lives in an isolated area, not deliberately interacting with soquili of any type. Though he doesn't go out of his way to hunt down soquili, he is utterly unforgiving when another soquili enters his territory. If he senses an intruder, he'll attack without warning or mercy until the interloper is either dead or in a wounded and hasty retreat. Plotwise its even possible for them to encounter each other in-flight in feral form. She's a MASSIVE soquili and Hawk (not quite Argentavis magnificens but still big enough that she can actively hunt smaller soquili and mini's without shapeshifting) but she's a clumsy and slow flier, which would give him an edge in a battle, which would allow her to accept him for a quick fling once landed... But would shift and chase him off pretty shortly after.

Soquili’s Name: Gullveig Soquili's Uncert:UNCERTFERALWINGLESS What soquili you are offering for: Bear Personality: Gullveig and her twin brother, Brynjulfr, stepped out of the Cursed Tree together -- but as far as typical twin siblings go, they are nothing of the sort. The twins loathe each other, and while equally matched, each is in a continuous competition to out-do the other in all things. There may be once or twice when the pair team up to take town a particularly troublesome foe, but as soon as they accomplish what they've set out to do, they instantly turn on each other again. It's an endless pull of sibling attachment and hate; they can't stand each other but also feel drawn to each other at the same time. They share similar beliefs and killing methods as well, finding attraction to symbols of power, painting their bodies with gold and sometimes adorning golden jewelry. They each have a cave filled of their treasures, each one torn from the dead bodies of their victims -- some with flesh still hanging on. As for Gullveig herself, she is a malevolent creature with a thirst for destruction in all it's various manifestations. Death is not the cause of all suffering, after all, even if she may favour it. She also enjoys causing the downfall of soquili, ruining their relationships, their homes, their beliefs -- all that they hold sacred until they have nothing left but to beg for their deaths -- a release from their pain that Gullveig will not always grant. It is her sole drive; she does not stop to ask 'why', merely following her pure instincts driving toward the massacre of all that is good in the world. Plot ideas: I was thinking she maybe could stumble across one of his captured prey and try to steal it; maybe he catches her? Or maybe she realizes there are several traps scattered around and starts stalking them to figure out what's going on until she gets caught OR catches Bear trying to "save" one of his captured prey and interferes? Gullveig is attracted to power and by now she'll have bred with a cat purewaker, and considers all of her offspring failures. She likes to think she's building an army but of course, she's never satisfied. But I think she'd see potential in offspring with Bear because he's built much larger than any other purewalker she's met besides her brother. If a weak little catwalker was a failure, then surly a bearwalker would produce much stronger offspring! Slots available: 2/4 (One is reserved for Dormarth at some point (when that happens is flexible, so Bear could go before him), and she's currently actively trying with Milo'Koa) Anything else I should know about the offer?: I'd love to see the potential third basket go to a purewalker newbie! She left her crazy mother in search of her uncle, who was the one to actually kill her father--for good reasons, she found out after meeting him. So imagine a lot of teenage angst, a draw to mischief and sarcasm galore. But, she is smart, and strong. She trained some with her uncles (Cato being her uncle, Thane being friend-of-the-family uncle) and can stand her own if need be. She descends from a desert bloodline that fixated on the idea that mixing angeni blood and kalona blood was the peak in balance of kindness and strength. However, her mother was a wind slave, and her father being Kalona/Angeni, she ended up with wind/kalona traits that reduced her in society to being a servant girl. That left her chaffed, young, and still very much immature. If you have an idea that could push her into maturing some, that would amazing. *,* Because I don't want to consider her being a mommy until that's happened. (No Teen Mom 2 shizz going on here.)
Perhaps Fallo rescued Kalidasa from your Bear? ; o; (If I'm correct in thinking Bear is often in the desert? I only assume because of his robes seem desert-y. xD) I can see her having an heroism crush on him for that, for sure.

Bear isnt actuallly in the desert -- he uses the robes to disguise himself and may claim to be from the desert if people question the style of his robes, but he prefers cooler mountain valleys (Preferring a slightly isolated location with caves, thick forests, and such, being a Grolar Bear walker (Grizzly/Pola hybrid, a naturaly occuring one when territories cross)). Also Bears plots are based on deception and are a long standing rp without any outside heroes, heroes instead being that of those within.
HOWEVER: Stormcaller Totemwing is Desert based primarily, so could work for a rescue story. Plus, with everyone involved being fliers, an aeral combat situation would likely work best at making the walker a true threat to a winged girl, but a sloppy flier that could be out manuevered in combat and lead into land battle (which would take her face to face with a large bull bison from equal ground and attacked by the more spry Fallo from above.
Edit: adding to this cause my tablet needed to be recharged and didn't want to lose what I'm writing.
Fallo would get her a job much like he did with Almase (Who is now her sons wife) and get her on her own four hooves as well, trying to find her a field she'd enjoy doing. which could help with maturity levels.
