gah. saw blades suck so bad. I remember a girl in one of our jewelry class got one stuck through her finger. It was crazy.
I'm making a sun pendant in my jewelry class right now.. It's a b***h trying to file down in the negative spaces in between the sun rays.
I swear, a jewelry class is dangerous with all the blow tortches and saw blades and acid, and I manage to hurt myself by stabbing myself with a file. xD
Anyways. That's really cute. xD What are the bottom grooves for in the feet that go left of the circles?
That's awesome though, what kinda metal did you use for the banana? I may try and make some stuff like that for my next project. :3
they're supposed to be toenail type-ish things... this was a piercing project, so I figured I take out a bit of material to discern the feet. monkey is copper, banana is brass
3nodding my friend is terrible with the tiny sawblades, she broke an average of 6-10 per day cutting the holes in her bracelet (there were about 8 or 10 holes to be cut) and she only got through about a hole a day
lol I only break 1 or 2 a day
ninja my injuries have gone only as far as excessively abusing my fingernails with sanding, filing, and what not... but I love the torches
heart on mondays I just find whatever looks interesting in the scrap pile and torch it together for a keychain
xd I'm tempted to go up to jewelry 3 just so I can do a casting project and use the oxi-acetylene torch. That ******** is bright
