Leucite was not in a good place - not mentally, not emotionally. His encounter with Amenthes had left him with a bitter taste in his mouth. The news that his girlfriend was in the hospital due to a mugging gone wrong left him with an even worse flavor in his mouth.

He had spent all the time he could with her, but he knew that his quota had to be maintained. So he had headed out into the night to clear his head the only way he knew how.

Tracking down the b*****d senshi who made it so he couldn't take a break. He had to protect the earth from them - until they were all gone, he wouldn't be able to relax with Cora.

He kept his attention on nearby power signatures, not wanting to miss a chance to take out a senshi if he got the chance. All the same, he didn't want to miss out on a chance to hook up with some of his own allies as well and maybe start a hunt...

So for the moment he just waited, watching the people below as he reached out to try and get a feel for who might be nearby. He wasn't even trying to be subtle, he'd be easily noticed by anyone who had half the mind to look for him.

Lifting his head up for a moment, Leucite rose and started to move toward a signature - while different from his own - bore the same sort of timbre of one he'd felt before. It had led to an interesting encounter so he wasn't about to turn this one down. After all - he'd not really met many of the pet senshi that the Negaverse had been keeping in their employ, so he was curious as to what this one was like.

He traveled quickly, leaving no illusion that he was interested in a meeting. Once he got close enough to speak without shouting, he waved an arm and chuckled.

"Fancy meeting one of yours out here," He said in a friendly tone. "Name's Leucite - and who might you be?"

Euclase... Euclase... That name was familiar. Leucite stood there for a moment, tapping his finger to his lips for a minute. His head tilted as he wracked his brain for where he'd heard that name before.

It came to him in a rush. Red hair, another corrupted. Carnelian, had been his name. He'd mentioned that he was engaged to another senshi - Euclase. So this must be her then.

He chuckled and let out a low whistle. "Damn, man knows how to pick 'em," Leucite said, looking Euclase up and down with an appreciative glance. "I've met your fiance, Carnelian, good man."

He rolled his shoulders, approaching and offering a hand. "It's nice to meet the woman behind the name. I offered to do ya'lls marriage portrait, not sure if he's brought it up to you or not - I'm a painter by trade."

"With a fiance as hot as you, I'd be busy as hell too..." Mathias smirked, "But I digress - I met him awhile back, he joined me on a patrol and we had a nice little chat, nothing special."

He let his hands swing free for a moment before placing them behind his back. "He's a good man, loyal, got a good head on his shoulders from what I can tell. If half our senshi are like him then I am somewhat confused as to the hostility of some of my fellows to yours."

To be fair, Leucite saw the corrupted senshi not as slaves or servants - but as equal allies. He didn't see a reason not to. They had made the decision to join the right side after all.

"Oh, so you're the smart one and the pants in the relationship. Nothing wrong with that." Leucite chuckles, tipping his head to her with a small grin. "Yes, I'm currently attending DCU for an Art Degree. When I heard ya'll were getting married I extended an offer to paint your portrait - just because it would be fun to do. I don't get to do things like that often. It would be a good learning experience for me - and I thought it'd be a nice gift for the lucky couple."

To be fair, he was thinking of proposing to his girlfriend soon - but he wasn't sure if the time was right. She needed to recover from her injuries and things needed to get back to normal before he popped the question he was sure.

It just wasn't the right time.

"Oh? That's interesting, what's your major?" Leucite chuckles as he crosses his arms in front of himself. "I haven't been to any of the clubs near campus in a bit, I've been busy with my own girlfriend."

This was interesting though, it was quite possible they'd of met somewhere. Which would be amusing as all hell. He actually did want to know who she was as a civilian now.

Leucite chuckles. "Then we probably haven't crossed paths then, I'm not usually on that side of campus these days." He scratches the back of his head. Thinking about it.

"What club do you work at? I might have to take a night and drop by, say hi, if you're cool with that." He chuckles.

He wouldn't' blame her if she declined, some people wanted to keep their lives separate.

Leucite grinned. "I'll have to make it a point to track you down and pay you a visit. I am definitely aboard for that plan too by the way. I won't be hard to spot, unless a lot of your clientele comes in covered in paint." His stance relaxed as he talked, getting to like this woman more and more with each passing moment, his whole demeanor relaxing in the process.

"Because to be honest it would be an honor to paint two people as beautiful as you. I have to admit, the both of you definitely have the class to be a model - at least in my book." It wasn't really flattery, just fact.

"I'll swing by later this week if you're working and we can set something up."
