 The Weyrling and Candidate Barracks are just a stone’s throw away from each other and both have plenty of spaces to hide an egg in. It’ll take a while to check under all those beds, but best get to it before a Weyrling dragon mistakes an egg for a toy. How To PlayA player can have as many characters in each area as they like, but each character can only be in one area at a time. To try and find an egg roll a ten sided dice, 9 or 10 is successful in finding an egg. Now you can gain bonuses by working together. If multiple players’ characters interact and are shown to be helping each other, each player gets +1 to their roll for every other player helping them. That’s player, not character. Players who have already found an egg can still roleplay helping others and give them bonuses, but cannot keep rolling for a second egg. If you are successful in your roll, pick which egg you would like from the top of the page and state it in your post. What your character does with the egg after finding it is up to them, they can return it to the fair or sneak off with it to keep it for themselves. Quote: ExamplesRocellia rolls a 5. Nobody wants to help her, so she doesn’t find an egg. Better luck next time. Dizzian rolls a 7. She’s being helped by R’yn and Ashlyn, which gives her +2, making her score 9. Way to go Dizzian, you found yourself an egg. K’gus rolls a 10 all by himself and wins an egg without any help from anyone. You show ‘em, K’gus. - Each player can only win one egg per area - Only posts with roleplays will be counted - Do not make another roll if you have not filled in the roleplay of previous rolls. - Firelizards impress to the player that found the egg, they cannot be given to other characters or players - No pressuring or harassing other players - ICA = ICC - Have fun

The entrance of the weyrling barracks was suddenly filled with a wild haired, excited weyrling and her dragon as Paige arrived from the dining hall. Of course, she made a trundlebug line for her own bunk. We were only just here. I think we'd notice if anyone had been in our room. Venaith logically pointed out.
"I know, but we were also gone! You never know!" Paige's bunk was already a messy place, sure the blanket had been throws somewhat straight over the bed when she'd woke, but she was never a tidy girl to begin with, and nothing was going to change that. Even now, she took a small amount of pleasure at digging haphazardly through her own things, mussing up the sheets on her bed (just the way she liked them) and crawling into the dusty space beneath it, searching for a spot of color.

I told you there wouldn't be one in our room, lets go look in the candidates side, there's more open space. Really, it was better than going into the weyrling's private rooms, though Venaith had no qualms about coming back if they didn't find any over there... just that side would be quicker.
Paige crawled out from under her bunk with a grin and led Venaith to her old stomping grounds. As a candidate, you never knew who was going to riffle through your gear. It was always exciting to see what someone else had stashed away in the 'not-so-secret' hidey holes!

Ohh she'd only been gone of it a month or so but it was fun poking around the candidate barracks again. Even better that it was with Venaith at her side. There is not a lot of privacy over here?
"Not really!" Paige flung up a loose floorboard and reached her arm under the ledge, feeling around. "You get to know your fellow candidates reaaaaal well."

Paige retracted her hand around something in excitement... but it was only a rock. Really? A rock? Why on earth would they hide that? Paige put the board back in place and went off in search of another hidey hole she herself had used in the past.
Her eyes went wide when something small and warm greeted her fingertips. The hidey hole was high up on the rock wall, a small crevace in the stone that was just within reach. Fervently wishing it was an egg and nothing else, Paige pulled the object out and was greeting by a bright spot of color. The egg itself was enormous! The young woman squealed in delight and bounced down from her perch on the top bunk, clutching the egg protectively to her chest. "Vennie I FOUND ONE!"
Venaith thrummed with pleasure. We should take it back to it's mother. Then see if anyone else has found one?
Paige nodded and together they rushed back towards the dining hall.

Her back was sore as she returned to the barracks to get some fresh clothes. She needed a bath more than anything right now. Hot, sweaty, and covered in dirt; a hot bath would feel wonderful. Bacha tried to rub her hands as clean as she could to riffle through her things. Where was that other shirt?

Idly she wondered where her brother and his dragon had gotten to. Probably doing riding-things. Bacha giggled to herself. Maybe she could find him for lunch after her bath. Shirt and pants draped over her arm she turned to find a spare towel. She frowned when she saw it wasn't there. Had someone stolen it again?! Now where was it?

Bacha dropped the clean cloths on the bed as she began to riffle through her stuff. It looked like some of it had been moved. Had someone been here before her and looked through her things? Not that she had much really of interest. She hoped they hadn't taken anything. She looked under her bed for her towel.

Lavi wondered through the candidate barracks as she sometimes did when she had free time, just to check that everything was alright. It wasn't uncommon for exhausted candidates to take an afternoon nap and forget to wake up for their chores. Or for lost candidates to return to the one place they remember how to get to while trying to find their way around. And it was a time that anyone could get her alone to ask her any questions in private. Slight as she was, and with loose fitting clothing, her pregancny was not yet showing. By now, she had informed the Weyrleaders of the situation, but had not yet broken it to the Candidates that she would soon be stepping down (temporarily, she hoped) from the position of candidatemaster.
Some Candidates had chores, others had free time. There weren't many in the barracks, but Lavi noticed one girl rummaging through her things as though looking for something. She seemed a little upset. "Is everything alright, Bacha?" Lavi asked, as she glanced around the scattered things.

Wen wondered into the Weyrling barracks, wondering if Jemi was there. He guess he could simply as Wyleth to ask Irith where his watchsister was but Wyleth seemed content to dig about in the sand. He shook his head and paused, going to check his things. They better not have rummaged through his belongings.

Wen carefully looked through his belongings, making sure no jokster had stashed a surprise among his weapons, leathers, or clothes. He closed up the trunk and checked his bow, stroking the wood. Well, everything seemed in place. Might as well check under the bed before he left.
