Senja sighed and propped her arms on her hips as she glared at Rastian as the healers put a last bandage on him before moving off to get others ready to leave the camp.
"You are coming home with me, mister. You're too badly hurt and I don't want to see you go off and do something foolish!" Cause he would wouldn't he? She thought, he's the type to be on the front lines when he should be healing at the back! But that was something she found attractive in him.

"I can have Shelia carry us and Ete and I can see to gathering food." She thought out loud, "Plus it's only to Neued so it shouldn't be more than a few days traveling, so we should be safe."

Senja stepped forward and wrapped his arm about her shoulder and her arm about his waist. He didn't look to steady on his feet and she wasn't about to see him pitch onto his face.

"Oh good, you aren't arguing." She smiled, her brothers would argue at the slightest thing sometimes... just to argue. She helped him out to where Shilea was standing passively behind the tent.
She held him steady as Shilea reached to grab him and put him on her back. Senja looked Ete, "Make sure he stays on Shilea. I'll be back soon."
Then she dashed off to grab her bag and some of the spare supplies before hurrying back.

Then she cambered up onto Silea's back and sat in front of Rastian where she could see what lay ahead of them.
"Come on Shilea, let's head out." She said with a gentle nudge of her foot to tell her Mammu which direction to go in.

"You hold on to me and try to rest, 'kay?" She said to Rastian and she looked up at him as Shilea shambled slowly off. Bossy Senja was in the house and would be till they got far enough away she didn't have to worry as much... and until he didn't look as feverish. Why'd the healer have to get hurt? She sighed and leaned back into Rastian.

The trip home they took slowly. Senja saw no reason to rush, Rastian wasn't getting worse, no fever developed and he was getting stronger. About a day out of Neued, they stopped (or Senja stopped) about midday to set up a very very early camp.

"Lets rest up and take a break for a bit. Make sure your wounds are well on their way to healing." She was finding that she didn't quite want to go home yet…. She'd been traveling for the last year with Niadra's troupe and the idea of going back home and trying to fit back into a settled life where she'd have to see an entire city's worth of people on a regular basis was a little daunting. And I should prepare Rastian for the family he's about to walk in on.. yeah… That was the reason.

"I should tell you about my family." She said to Rastian as Shilea set him on the ground.

She shot him a grin. "Ha! They'd like to be!" She shook her head. "We'll be staying with them till you are healed up at least so I figured I'd give you a heads up on them. I've got 3 older brothers, the eldest you may not see a lot of but the twins you probably will. They're... rowdy to say the least. Then I've got an older and younger sister. They may not bother you too much, but my father and brothers probably will considering how they reacted when Elsker, my older sister, brought a guy home. We're a family of dancers, singers, musicians and that sort of thing so... drama kinda runs in the blood. Except for the eldest, he's a carpenter" She sighed as she sat down next to him to check his bandages.

"They are nice! Just... there's a lot of them and.. well. Noisy, very nosy as well, picky too, no respect for privacy." She said as she thought of all the lessons and being made to do things over and over until she got them right. What was she bringing Rastian into? But.. well, she did like him! A lot. And if this was going to get further than just liking him she wanted her family to know and approve!

She sighed and patted Rastians hand. "You holding up okay?" She asked, as she looked up from the bandages.

Senja smiled and squeezed his hand gently. "If you say so." He was very close to her, and Senja (feeling very daring) leaned that last little distance to give him a quick kiss before bouncing up and away with a small blush.

"Just don't go lying trying to act strong!" She said as she went back to the fire to try and cook a meal.

Senja smiled and looked over her shoulder at him, "Oh, you aren't all that useless! I'm sure you can muster up some energy to help me cook." She could sing and dance.. but cooking was just not something she actually liked to do nor was she good at it. "Unless you like half uncooked and burnt food... Be nice to eat the good food mother cooks." She said as she knelt gracefully by the fire to look at the diminished supplies.

"You've slept most of the day away, you going to be able to sleep alright not night?" She asked, "Even when injured I can't stay still too long... Are you like that Rastian?" She realized that she knew some, but not a lot about him. Maybe they could spend tonight talking and getting to know each other? All the sitting had left her with a surplus of energy.. she wasn't ready to sleep just yet.

Senja blushed and tossed her hair out of the way before casting Rastian a playful smile.
"Well, if you put it that way~" She leaned against him and reached up to playfully tug at Rastian's braid. "You couldn't keep up with me, though."
All bravado of course, since Senja hadn't slept with anyone ever. She didn't want to risk a pregnancy when she wasn't sure if the guy would stick around... plus flirting was easier, she'd seen the drama and heart ache of the other girls hand hadn't wanted to risk that.

Senja's blush turned beet red at his words and smile. Spirits! So it looked like he was willing to go to the next step... but I don't what to do after this! She thought with a small amount of panic. I can flirt but that's it!
She opened her mouth to speak then closed it as she couldn't think of any words. "Um..."She looked away and around. "I... I've never done more than kiss sorry. " She said in a small voice as she blurted the words out. Why am I embarrassed? She thought. Nothing wrong with being a virgin! Her honest inner voice supplied the answer: she didn't want to seem inexperienced. Or anything less than perfect. Not in front of Rastian at least.
