Amelia was raised in the wealthy Caliu family, who’s money was earned by being in possession of a few factories concerning household goods and the like. Granted, a large portion of wealth was gained through the mafia due to her grandparents "invested interests." By all appearances, however, they were an average family; living in an upscale neighborhood with all the luxuries one could want. However, much of that was jeopardized when strange things seemed to occur around their little girl and no one could explain why. It was her kindergarten teacher who eventually realized what was happening. This teacher had been placed in her job as a guise for discovering supernatural children. It was her duty to ensure that no magical being went without help and knowledge of their abilities. After seeing Amelia perform magic, she made a house call and spoke about the Veil to the family
A few years after this, her younger siblings had begun to show signs of magic as well, prompting her parents to research more suitable schools. Eventually, Reed's was chosen and all three Caliu siblings attended the famous school for their education on the magical world. While Amelia was there, she dated a man named Lloyd, and soon enough discovered that she was pregnant. It was her senior year and despite their heavy workload, the two decided to keep the baby. Eventually broke up, but Lloyd remained a constant friend in her life and helped raise their daughter with extreme love and care.
Soon after their graduation, Lloyd went on to become a rock star, forming a band named The Pack. Amelia became a magazine editor, but after a brush with death and a complicated kidnapping case, she turned to espionage as a new career. This new shift in her life also brought a new child into her life; a young boy whom she adopted.
Throughout these years, Amelia dated a man named Cedric Hickman, who also happened to be a band member in The Pack. He was as shy as they come, but the two fell in love quickly and absolutely. They married after several years and now have three children, two boys and girl. Now that they have both retired and are attempting to raise a large family, they chose to move to a small, quiet town where they can support this new movement of removing the Veil.
