She is awake.
She is awake because you are awake, because you originally created her. Every second, every moment your consciousness slips, each time your mind begins to meander she is awake and she gives you more.
Your idle fantasies about food she turns into glorious buffet table. Your conversations with someone you sought out she turns into a reunion, your fears she distorts into nightmares. Every single moment, waking, and sleeping, she is there, waiting for you to lose focus.
And when you do, the room stops being a room and turns into both a dream and a nightmare. Your body is safe, it is a shell, resting, idle, but your mind she has taken to a world all on her own.

You all dream the same dream. You are walking down a single hallway, and you reach a door. It is a small door, just large enough for one person, and you are alone.
There are two figures standing on each side of the door. One, in black, thin and gaunt, wearing a suit, and one in blue and violet, holding a staff. They are not legacies but something far older.
They do not move from where they are standing on each side of the door. The door is locked.
"This is your doing, and it must be your undoing," the violet-cloaked figure begins first. "Your idle desires have called out to her, given her more purpose than she originally was."
"Which is where the problem lies," says the paler, almost skeleton-like figure, "Everything must be done in moderation. You have gotten too dependent to her, and she has gotten, for the most part, too dependent to you. She is at your beck and call, always waiting and giving you the dreams-"
-"And nightmares-"
-"That you wish or do not wish to see. She wants to be remembered, but you are giving her so much, she has forgotten what her original purpose really was. She is creating entire dreams out of your reality and forcing you to look away from the truth, further and further away from what is actually happening as she continues to spin fantasies catering to you."
"An obstruction in power is dangerous, especially for us. The only way to stop it is for you to relinquish your control. You need to ground yourself and remember which parts are real. If you don't, the next time you will asleep and not wake up again."
"And most importantly," said both figures in unison, "you have to send her back to sleep."
"She'll be fine," the skeletal one says, "that is where she belongs. Not in the waking world, but just in the world of dreams and nightmares. Only then can they truly stop being dangerous."
The door opens.

Inside the door is a stringless puppet. She is familiar, all black, wearing a blue dress and apron, with blonde hair.
She shrinks back. "I know why you're here, but I don't want to. I don't want you to leave me. I want you with me at all times. I learned so much in Wonderland and I can help you, I can help you change things, I can give you everything you want. All you have to do is sleep and never wake up, all you have to do is sleep and stay with me."
You begin to grow tired. The world around you loses focus. Instead of this puppet you see strange shadows grow under her, large and threatening. You feel the onslaught of a nightmare, a fear, a recent event - it seemed so real and it terrifies you -
- "Not now."
It is a voice in your head, and it echoes, a warning. You awaken.
Immediately as you look around you, you see everything is covered in thick, spindly cobwebs. They are strings, a mockery of puppet strings. They wrap around your arms, legs, invisible one moment and then barely translucent the next.
"Cut the strings, break free."
The voice that calls in your mind is guiding. At your disposal is your weapon, whatever that meant to you. Even if your weapon is your own hands, claws, even if it is your own teeth and nails, it still is a weapon. You tear through the strings, each and every one.OOC SECRET BOSS: PART 1 exclaim Anyone (characters), even those NOT IN THE EVENT can enter this for the rp points! - Surprise! (or not). It looks like Alice really didn't want to leave you, and for the last week after Wonderland she hasn't. It seems she's gotten a control of everything around her, from Halloween to the Human World, and has enticed all with the siren's call of dreams. Your world, what you thought was happening you viewed half through the lens of dreaming. You fought laundry that Alice turned through dream-vision into monstrous firebreathing dragons. You spoke to inanimate objects that Alice turned through dream-vision into loved ones. You confessed something secret to a wall in reality, which Alice made you believe you confessed it to someone real. The lines of reality and dreams are blurring. What is real is not what you see anymore. It is time to cut the strings and put this to an end. gaia_crown [ CUTTING THE STRINGS ]- This is pretty standard - the strings around you have 10 HP. Use your standard attack dice and summon your weapon/claws/ what have you use to attack. When you have cut through the 10 HP, you finally break free. You see your last dream vision before you arrived here. You are proceeding in something ordinary when something extraordinary happens. You encounter a great monster. You confess your true feelings. Slowly, you begin to realize the shift, the dream-vision, but you have not quite shattered it quite yet to see the reality of what actually happened. gaia_crown [ Dream Vision ]: Dream-vision occurs when you lose control of what is actually going on and grasp into what if territory. The second you begin to fantasize, Alice takes control of your consciousness, and makes your brain imagine scenarios that actually aren't happening in reality. Thus, you exist in a state of half-consciousness, aware you exist, carrying on routine things, only to have your brain whisked away at random moments to see something that isn't actually happening. One could relate it to REALITY vs VIRTUAL REALITY (dream world), only you had no clue your reality was replaced by a virtual one. EXAMPLES: My character steve is doing laundry. SUDDENLY THE LAUNDRY BASKET TURNS INTO A GIANT PILE OF SNAKES AND TEARS OFF BOTH HIS ARMS AND HE IS A ROBOT AND THEN SOMEONE DISASSMBLES HIM AND HE DIES... something like that. Basically this is your character dreaming an event that happened to them (that they actually think happened) but was in actuality a dream/ distorted reality. Yes please do make one up!

Strange dreams seemed to be a common thing this week. Shun stared at the figures ahead. There was something familiar about the purple cloaked one. There was also the matter of the door.
What were they...
It slowly began to dawn on him. Especially once the door opened up to reveal the familiar little girl. His good eye narrowed at her.
"I knew you were trouble," he uttered lowly under his breath. She wanted to keep him here. Asleep forever. Wait. So everything before was... The black door and all that transpired? A dream? While he was distracted with the thought, his consciousness snapped to and... awake state?
Was he awake? He was covered in webs. Strings. Another voice called out to him. Yes. He needed to break free. His daggers appeared in each hand. And such, he began to struggle. The black webbing began to grow slack as he sliced through some of his bindings.

With his body having more mobility now, he was able to cut away the last of the strings that tied him.
Just as the final strand of webbing broke, his vision flickered to something else entirely.
He was meditating within his room with Mitsu reading a book nearby. Finishing up the activity, he opened his eye and turned towards the werewolf with a soft smile. However, rather than her, he saw Candace there instead. She grinned devilishly before lashing out at him; her arms turning into many black tentacles gripping around his limbs and throat. While he struggled, she shifted again, into Riley, who's white eyes blared brilliantly.
She's mine.

Deryk was. Very. Very confused. Where the hell was he? Who were these figures before him? What was with that door?
Why was there a puppet that reminded him of Alice from Alice in Wonderland but a lot creepier? Was this the Alice that Chel mentioned earlier in the week? Between all the chaos at Oroborous and this, his mind was feeling very overwhelmed right about now.
Some things were slowly growing clear to him. He was trapped. Somehow. And this girl was apparently at fault. As he heard the urge to break free, he realized that he had Tooley at his disposal. Break free. Wake up. The mission with the O hunters... that was all a dream then?

The strings were surprisingly easy to cut despite the fact that his weapon didn't really make it too easy to break free, considering. Deryk felt himself dropping down as the webbing was sliced apart. But before he could make contact with the ground, stranger things occurred.
Deryk was at the cafeteria, drinking coffee. Just the same ol' when the scenery around him shifted. He was now on a stage. Puppets were lined up beside him and they were dancing. He felt the compulsion to do the same.
"Got no string, to hold me down. To make me laugh or make me frown! I had strings, but now am free. Got no strings on me!"

Shocked and alarmed by the suddenness of the situation, Uttam wasn't quite at his prime when everything went down. Death he'd recognized, even nodded to, and the other ancient was given similar respect.
ALICE, however, he glared at with such intensity that he could feel his whole face turning red. "You... I knew you set this all up." He didn't realize the extent of that, though.
And now he was, quite literally, caught up in her web. Oh happy day.

He knew the meteor hammer would be worthless when he was so bound up, and decided instead to start tearing his way through the webs, despite the bleeding that would inevitably occur.

Finally given enough wiggle room, Uttam's meteor hammer was in hand, and the dual metal balls punched their way through the remaining webbing. He fell without grace, rolling on the floor in recovery.
He was in his tent, reading a book on the Human world. He'd just turned the page when suddenly the tent was ripped from the ground and thrown into the sky by a sentient tornado with arms and legs, and it was aiming a giant fist at him.

The famine horseman blinked at the two figures speaking, looking all around and trying to determine how she wound up there. Oh... she was dreaming. Right? This made the horseman giggle. Her dreams were quite interesting.
Except this.
She was definitely beginning to not like this. Things were usually crazy in her mind, but this? This was pushing it and Saiyuri was tired of it. Of her. "I do not find you fun any longer." She informed Alice with a pout. "No fun. Go away." If only it could be that easy.
A few seconds flashed and Saiyuri found herself gazing slowing around her tent. And she swore she saw strings... "What mischief is this?" She hissed, eyes narrowing as she tugged and saw the strings glimmer. Something was telling her to break them. Cut herself free. "Take these off me!" The playful horseman suddenly slashed at the strings, summoning her weapon.

Pokerus had thought the wonderland saga was over. But alas, soon enough she realized that things were still a little off. Considering she had been sitting her in room thinking about counting her meager treasures when the room was suddenly filled with gems, she was pretty sure these things just didn't happen. Most of the time.
So as she stood in front of the two figures, both appearing more ancient then well, a ancient, she was pretty dam sure it had something to do with Alice.
"How in jacks name is this my fault?" She grumbled under her breath, folding her arms and trying not to let her emotions show.
When the door open she glared at Alice, not in the mood to show any sympathy to the thing as she felt her mind grow tired. Thankfully a strange voice woke her up, and she felt the cobwebs settle themselves on her being. They were tougher then they first appeared, as she struggled to get her arms free so she could break it.

She did not like being restrained as she was. It was not in her nature. She would do what she wanted when she wanted. Not when this... Alice felt like letting her! Saiyuri began to struggle and slash at any string that she caught a glimmer of.
"You dare to try and restrain one like me?" She growled, snapping her teeth at the strings around her neck. Ripping and shredding.

"Okay this is starting to piss me off." The dragon growled, managing to get a arm free. With a swift slash she was able to cut away most of the webbing, freeing her other arm so she could finish the job. Alice's shadow was looking more threatening every second and she wasn't sure she wanted to tangle with it, save she get trapped in another nightmare.
Unless part of it was the jabberwocky. She still wanted to kick it's a**.

With a final surge of strength, Poke tore away the flimsy cobwebs and stood free when she felt the area shift around her -
She was in the cafeteria, eating a sardine burger. She took another bite when she saw Wilson take a seat opposite her, and they both were suddenly trapped in a beam of light and transported onto a spaceship filled with alien cannoncats
...She wasn't going to ask.
