Mysterious Ink
Recently, one of my customers brought in a bottle of ink that keeps changing colors at regular intervals. Why don't you have a look and see if you can guess what's coming next?
[ Rules ] The objective is simple: Figure out what the next color of ink will be. And to make things more interesting... You may only answer once. All answers must be sent in a pm to me (Sharacia) on or before May 18th (Sunday). Anyone participating will recieve a prize. Winner(s) will be announced on May 19th (Monday)

Winning prize: 12 Caches of your choice (Any colored caches except Gold) (Price will be split if there's more than one winner)

The Rainbow Directive:
I've just got my paws on an enchanted scroll describing a hidden cave filled with precious gemstones. Unfortunately I can't leave my shop to go treasure hunting and my bunny helpers can't read. Would you like to go instead? The scroll is the key to finding the Diamond. However, pick the wrong one and it'll turn into dust as you exit the cave.
Oh, did I mention you can't see colors once you step inside the cave?

The purple gem has one adjacent gem. The green gem is not next to the red gem. The orange gem is between the yellow gem and the red gem. The green gem is to the right of the Diamond. The blue gem is next to the purple gem. The yellow gem is next to the Diamond. The orange gem is to the left of the blue gem.

[ Solution ]
Quite simply, follow the written directives (ignoring the color of the text) should lead you to a single answer. (Just one, as stated at the top of the page.) And as you may have noticed, there was some 'noise' as someone called it.
1. The color of the text in the scroll should be ignored. (Follow the written directives)
2. The spacing on the map should be ignored. (Two objects sitting on either side of an open doorway are still next to each other, are they not?)

At this point you have 4 options left, so you'd have to impose a more strict interpretation of one of the previous clues.
1.1. The orange gem is to the left of the blue gem. (Directly next to.) Impossible. Ignore this.

The hidden clue: The puzzle's name. Rainbow Directive. The gems are in the same order as the colors of the rainbow.
