The Fire Field: A series of thick rock pillars, all different sizes of height, reach towards the stadium ceiling from a pool of hot lava. While there is a fire-proof net far below to catch any pokemon that falls off the platforms, the rock pillars themselves are hot to the touch. They can cause burns if your pokemon stand still for a set period of time. The air around the field is very heavy from the extreme heat. This field gives a 25 HP attack boost to FIRE type attacks. This field reduces ICE and WATER type attacks by 25 HP.

Alexa walked into the stadium and began to fan herself. Man the fire field sure was hot. But it was a good field for many of her pokemon. She removed a pokeball from her belt and released her newer pokemon. He needed more training so she naturally chose Pyrrhus.
Pyrrhus was happy to be in the hot field. He curled up into a ball to rest some before the battle started.

Vanadinite, was not one for battles. She preferred to look and coo over how cute pokemon where instead of fighting with them. However she felt that inorder to combat the feminist threat she would have to learn at least some basic battle skills.
Houri appeared in a flash of light and looked over the area with a critical eye, it was warm and that made the tiny bird happy.

Alexa waved to the other trainer and nearly melted seeing the Torchic. She loved the little birds and wanted one of her own. Deciding to get the battle going she called out to Pyrrhus, "Start off with Rock Tomb!"
Pyrrhus uncurls at his trainer's call and lets out a yawn. He looked at the other tiny pokemon and jumped up onto a short pillar. He punched the ground to break it up and then hurled the larger pieces at Houri.

Houri squawked indignant when the other tossed large stones at her. She took a moment to fix her feathers which had been messed up by the attack before glaring at the opponent, if thats how they wanted to play, then fine. The torchick walked over to one of the larger stones that had been thrown at her and kicked it back at them, she hoped it would hit them in the face.
Vana waved back to the other girl, she was about to call out an attack when she noticed that Houri had started fighting on her own. Maybe it was best to let her make her own choices?

Pyrrhus yelped when he was hit with the rock. It also knocked him off his pillar and onto another one nearby. It took him a moment to recover. He then jumped from pillar to pillar. When he was closer to Houri he punched the pillar next to the one she was on breaking it. As the rocks rained down he punched and kicked them towards her.

Houri huffed as she was once again hit by a rock, or rather rained on by them. Grabbing one with her talons she fluttered her way to the top of one of the taller pillars and threw the rock at him.

Pyrrhus was jumping to a new pillar when he was hit with the rock Houri threw. He was knocked into one of the taller ones and had to scramble up it so he wouldn't fall down to the net below. Once there he spied a nice sized rock on the next pillar. He jumped to it and then threw it at the Torchic.

Hit by another rock, Houri fluttered to the next pillar, one of the once that Pyrrhus had previously broken and kicked the broken fragments at him.

Pyrrhus avoided some of the broken pillar fragments but was unable to dodge them all. He was knocked back by those he couldn't dodge. Grabbing one that fell at his feet he threw it back.

Once again hit by the rock that the other had sent at her. Houri started to kick more broken pieces at the other pokemon.

Pyrrhus was hit again by the broken pieces. He moved to a different pillar and looked around for some rocks to throw. He spotted some at the other end of the field and crossed over to them. He then threw them at Houri as hard as he could.

Houri was hit by a very large rock and knocked out. The blow sent the little bird flying off the platform and Vana recalled her before she hit the net.

Alexa cheered for Pyrrhus and called him back over to her. "That was a really close battle! We'll have to have a rematch some time." She called out to her opponent. She gave a wave before picking up Pyrrhus and leaving the stadium.
