The weather was nice tonight and Sheena was glad for it. Even with fur this winter had been brutally cold at times and the only slight chill of spring had her rearing to go. She could stay out longer and certainly accomplish more now that there was some semblance of warmth in the city.
Tonight Sheena was headed to the park looking for Sailor Maia wanting to talk to her about a thought that had been bouncing around her head lately. She knew Maia was often in the park, it was almost a guarantee to find the girl there. She didn't branch out often, but Sheena understood why.
She stood on the edge of the park, frowning slightly that she didn't feel Maia around which meant she wasn't there yet, but hopefully she was coming. She could certainly wait, it was still fairly early in the evening, not even midnight yet, so plopped down in the grass and waited patiently for her friend. She hoped it didn't take to long, she had other's she'd like to check on tonight, like her chibi.[Estelle] Sorry, short start! Maia will show up in a little bit. Tag!

Kinley was out on a walk, exploring the area. It was a little late to be out, but she was pretty good at getting in and out of the dorms without being noticed. Her camera bag hung off of her shoulder, ready at any given moment in case anything caught her eye. Things often did. The moon was out, giving everything a pretty blue and silver glow. It made everything so pretty; Kinley especially appreciated it because the moonlight was the same no matter where she was. So if she was ever homesick, she could find a nice hill, painted silver in the moon, and pretend it was one of the rolling hills of Ireland. It wasn't often that she got homesick though; everything here was pretty wonderful, except for the odd attacks that she'd been hearing about.
A shiver ran up her spine as she thought about it. Maybe coming out tonight hadn't been such a great idea. Shaking her shoulders a bit, she brushed the idea off, running her hand through her hair before stopping and taking a look around. There was a park nearby. Maybe there was a pretty stream there that she could take pictures of! With a new energy in her body, she did a little hop before heading that way. It wasn't long before she came to an abrupt halt, noticing the cat sitting on the edge of the park. Was it...was the cat frowning? It seemed to be a rather peculiar expression for a cat.
Quietly, she tried to shift her camera out of the bag to take a picture of it before it noticed her. The breeze was balmy as it ruffled first the cat's fur, then her own reddish curls. Just a few more seconds and she could have it. Her eye focused as she twisted the lens, focusing on the cat. Click The shutter snapped shut and a smile twitched at her lips. Sheena could feel Maia approaching, but she was still a little ways off so she sat waiting before a clicking and the inkling of a feeling made her turn her head and stare at Kinley. She blinked and looked to the camera held in her hand and gave her a curious expression before she realized the little tingling sensation that came to a breifly may have been the girl.
Sheena hopped to her feet and headed over to the girl, giving a small friendly mew, not wanting the girl to back away at a cat she didn't know approaching her. Apparently stray cats we're always a good thing and animals on earth could have things like rabies. Sheena really need to spend less time on the internet.
She mewed once more essentially begging to be petting and picked up as she tried to figure out, if this girl was a new senshi and hoping that was exactly what she was. Sheena had no problems welcoming her to that fate, that destiny and she was sure Maia could certainly help.[Estelle] Yay, im so excited for you!

She heard the mew as she was looking at the screen, checking out the picture she'd just captured. At the second mew, she looked down, realizing the cat had made its way over to her feet. Pretty and friendly Kinley thought to herself as she tucked the camera back in the bag before crouching down to get a better look. There was still definitely something odd about this cat. She felt as though it was really looking at her and thinking.
"'Ello there, you." Kinley said quietly, tentatively reaching down to scratch behind the cat's ears. Most cats liked that, and this one seemed pretty friendly. "Why aren't you in a cozy li'l bed tonight?"
As she spoke to the cat, she had the strangest feeling that she could actually understand her. Her eyes were awfully bright, even for a cat in the night. Kin pursed her lips a little to the side, her brow furrowing. "Did you know I was takin' your photo, kitty?" She asked, still crouched down and scratching Sheena behind the ears.

Sheena leaned into the scratches the girl offered and trying to get a better feel for the girl. She was almost certain, now as the girl gave her gentle pets that she was a senshi, and she just had to find out which.
Sheena gave a simple nod to the girl's question. Yes when the camera clicked she was aware her picture had been taken, that and the fact that the girl still had the camera when she looked. She decided not to wait for the surprised reaction to her ability to understand the girl instead decided to speak.
She didn't however get the chance because she turned feeling Maia was close watching as the eternal senshi jumped easily off a rooftop across the street from the park and started across the street toward them. Sheena's eyes returned to Kinley and the cat gave something of a grin.
Maia didn't notice Sheena at first, instead the girl and frowned intent on telling her she really shouldnt be out so late at night and Destiny City could be dangerous at night. Her heels clicked as she walked over, she was not attempting to make a quiet entrance.
It wasn't until she was right on them that she noticed Sheena and raised an eyebrow before speaking softly, "You know you really shouldn't be out so late young lady?"
It was then that Sheena finally spoke, "she's exactly where she is suppose to be, its fate."

Kinley smiled as the cat continued to look for affection. She hoped that she belonged to someone and wasn't just a stray. That was probably the case; she was so friendly and seemed well fed. No signs of being a stray. Then, another rather human expression crossed the cat's face. Cat's were definitely not supposed to smile like that. Kin's eyes followed where the cat's had just looked, though it was a moment before she saw the figure approaching in the dark.
In fact, Kin heard the click of heels on the ground moments before she actually saw the Senshi. In addition to the youma that she'd heard about, she'd also heard about these pretty soldiers that patrolled the night trying to keep Destiny City safe. As she looked at this girl striding towards her, from her red ringlets, to the--were those wings?--on her butt, and the outfit she wore, there was no doubt that this girl was either one of those Senshi or else crazy. But she didn't sound crazy when she spoke! Standing up from her crouched position, she dusted herself off.
"Oh, I know! But it was such a--" She was cut off and fell silent as the cat she and been petting just moments ago opened her mouth and began to speak. Her eyes widened and her mouth hung open for a moment before she quickly clenched it shut, and her eyebrows furrowed. Was this some sort of trick? Certainly, she'd never seen a talking cat! But if there were monsters and pretty magical soldiers, then who was to say cats couldn't talk? Still, she looked between the other girl and the cat for a moment. When she finally spoke again, she did so to Sheena first. "Did you just--" She cut herself off, looking at Maia again. "Did she just talk to me?" Her eyes were still glancing uncertainly between the two of them.Kaori_luv Sorry this took a few days. RL called. Also, do you mind if we back set this a bit so Kin can be at Senshi boot camp? Maia could have told her about it since Maia is there?
